Please don't use the step. As a technician I see cars that people have used these on. The door latch is not built to hold weight. The body shop will charge a fortune to fix.
@@chef549 thanks for the comment, luckily I’ve had no issues and no damage whatsoever to the vehicle. The weight is not just on the latch but also on the body as well.
@@themandiyrin i was a little surprised at the things that didn't come standard such as roof rack, bed extender, rear defrost.... also a little overwhelmed with all of the things that it DID come with

I find it easier to remember to put the key in the bag (bag is hung on my key holder) then remembering to press the bottoms every single time (as I don’t wanna completely abandon the feature). I use the faraday at home and use the button method when I’m out and about not carrying the bag.
Is that hitch light made of copper? Also, super convenient to have the bottle opener on your key fob! You'll never leave the house without a bottle opener!

You can shut off the signal from the fob not needing the Faraday bag. Just by holding a few of the remote buttons simultaneously. Look it up.
