What an awesome mid season acquisition. He can play any position in the outfield, play three in the infield, steal bases, and whatever else you can think of.

Few things this postseason has shown us : Flaherty is an Ace, Yamamoto got his confidence back, Betts is back, Ohtani is clutch in October and Dodgers are pitching just fine without starting pitching.
I think because the right fielder bobbled it, which in the opinion of the official scorer, allowed Ohtani to second and the runner to score. Without the bobble, Ohtani's at first and Edman is at third. Maybe there was a hesitation by both runners before the fielder bobbled the ball off the wall. They didn't show the runners at the time there was the bobble.
I can understand Edman's home because it was a close call. Or rather, wasn't it an error in Lindor's throw? However, I don't think the outfielder's supply error had anything to do with whether Ohtani got to second base or not. At worst, he doesn't have to score an RBI. I'm dissatisfied that it didn't become a double.
@@bananaore7 The box score says it was a fielding error on Marte, the fielder. They usually don't give errors to throws that are offline like Lindor's. Just watching on TV it did look like Ohtani got in easily, but maybe Ohtani hesitated after first, then went to second on the bobble. That's the only thing I can think of that made the scorer change it to a single and error. But it really did look like an easy double to me too.
Next year when Ohtani starts to pitch again, I wonder how the opposing pitcher feel? Not only Ohtani can hit a HR off you, he can pitch better than you. Got to be demoralizing . 😎
