Those people that say Shohei Ohtani sucks in this series versus the Padres probably didn’t watch the games or pay any attention at all or both. Shohei Ohtani, by far, deliver the most important hit in this series during game 1 when he hit that 3 run homer. That home run change everything. If it weren’t for that home run that Ohtani hit I think it’s safe to say that they’re probably in Cancun by now.
I think it was crucial that each player contributed in the series one way or another. Everyone contributing in a single game really doesn’t help in mlb playoff when it’s multiple games. Which multiple players have their own moment in a series, spreading out clutch moments, that’s how you when a series. That being said, the bullpen was clutch throughout the series.

Only feel for Yu Darvish he pitched well but you aren’t gonna win a series when you don’t score in almost 3 straight games. Gonna be interesting to see how Dodgers play the rest of the way.
