Marathon watch another very entertaining, intriguing but romantic drama with a good ending. I like how the characters developed from playful, smart students to matured, responsible adults. The loyalty of friendship is admirable. Thank you for the subs & the whole crew.
I think Liang Jie is such a great little actress but nobody has the chemistry with her that Xing Zhaolin has. They are magnificent together! It’s hard to see her with other MLs
An outstanding performance by Joseph Zheng and Liang Jie. Great chemistry between them. Rest of the supporting team were wonderful. Beautiful costumes. Enjoyable; exciting and entertaining. Fun 🤩 drama. Good plot. My 2nd round watching this.

done watching the whole drama and loving it so much I want it not to end! ^-^ I wish both of them will do more dramas in the future as they have the chemistry! I know Xiaoman sometimes disappoints BUT if you consider the dilemma of the heroine in this drama you'll see how effective Liang Jie portrays her role of not letting herself be second best as she deserves to be the Wife and not just a concubine! Besides who wants to see her husband be with someone else? That's what she's setting her foot in for. :). She does not want to be just someone else's shadow nor share her husband to anyone else! :) Can we blame her for that? ;).
The only disappointment I've seen so far in the first episode is the male lead and her father. Although falling in love with such a bastard who values cricket more than respect for people is a disappointment. This looks like one of those dramas in which the female lead would rather choose a bastard as her lover instead of finding a better one or living her own life. I find those types of writers misogynistic
I always love it when they have strong male leads that are afraid of the craziest of things. Here with the mouse. Also Xu Feng in Ashes of Love afraid of seeing a tiny snail - but has no problem eating a large centipede ( yeah, I know, he is a brave burnt crow Phoenix), etc, etc. Makes them seem not so perfect, but like the rest of us.... .........simply being normal.
