This was so much fun to watch. She is an absolute QUEEN! The way she carries herself and controls her man is divine to watch. And what she does to the idiot wannabe mistress and anyone who gets in her way makes me clap in glee. This, this is the type of female character I want to watch. Not those insipid, pitiful tortured FL, who either always need a man to save them, or are tortured and traumatized beginning to end. This woman right here knows who and what she wants and goes after it full throttle. As for the couple, how delicious are they together. She has this man turned upside down and sideways and keeps him guessing. She is stunningly beautiful and is a perfect foil for Mr. Tall, Dark and Handsome. As a mater of fact, all the characters did an amazing job with their roles. Props to his mom for her comedy. She usually plays the evil mom/step mom and I automatically dislike her, but here she's a hoot being in cahoots with the FL. All in all, this was hilarious and goes on my must watch again list.
Yes you are correct. The mother inlaw hated the original character, but when she changed, the mother inlaw changed her opinion of her. In historical error the mother inlaw was actually her real mother that died. That's why FL was so attached to mother inlaw.
This is one of the better dramas that I've seen in a while. Had a good mix of romance, humor, modern day drama with historical mixed in. Leads were awesome together great chemistry. I will definitely rewatch it.

So much better than most others. I liked the light hearted approach to the story (for the most part), be good if they had managed to keep that side going, instead of the usual kidnap scene near the end, and instead came up with a different way for that part.
This one is quite fun by far 😂 No! Again male villain was not needed.... The ML is giving a lot of air & that is ruining the romance. Though FL is strong, she slapping the other girls for their every action & word is insane. However, it's a relief that FL has powers & brains.
I like when this ML does comedy. He has great timing in such dramas and seems to elevate the performance of those around him by association. Agree with other posts saying this is one of the better short form dramas in the comedy subgenre. Just wish the extra dramatic background music hadn't been added.
I had just finished watching a similar drama with ML: Wang Nan (Tyler Wang) and FL: Sun Qianxun. It was also a fun and hilarious drama. I dont know the drama name, only the actors in it. It's just that about ml If you notice at one point he also remembered everything There's no way when that weng general after becoming emperor historically recorded that empress suicided there will be a book of real story! Verbal passing of story is one thing and that script is other It's just in past ml indeed had died to repay favour and when ml remembered it he tried so hard not to be his past self and also tries to make fl forget him or not feel anything about him And also the ml who acted so perfectly I wouldn't think would act that weird when it came to scene about past so at one point he remembered and try to erased his past cause he didn't loved her!!
