Good Part One of “Rival Love”. ML and FL are well paired together. The sister and male photographer (FL’s helper in secret missions) are a good match too. Other comments have younger sister and ML with better chemistry, which I don’t understand why. They rarely have any moments alone together. The sister is more for the photographer, because she’s a bit ditzy and clueless to her surrounding. He’s best to find her charming and cute. FL is better suited for ML, because she’s smart, cunning, and a challenge for him.
Such a satisfying mini drama with the ML & FL well matched. Love the strong, caring, smart personality of the FL & the protectiveness of the general moreso when he knew who Su Mei really is. Greed & Power doesn't last long. The evil that it breeds will eventually destroy the person & all those involve as we see in today's society. That you for a well written script & well performed cast.❤❤❤
i wonder why there are comments in Chinese movies about chemistry and ship between this or that character, while the content of the movie and the meaning of true love overcoming difficulties is more important.. I mean character educaion is neccessary for young people.
Yes, but it could last only when is centered on true friendship, sacrifice for the sake of the other. Otherwise if it is self-centered it goes away. I meant that...and also if the chemistry is strong the actors might get entangled in love affair and often they can marry and then change the partner... very pitiful pictures

@susanhill2110 I agree with you. I see more chemistry between the fl and ml. It is subtle with an underlying sexual tension. They are better matched regarding wit and strength of character. The sister is cute enough but immature and a bit self centred but that is how she is being portrayed as apparently she is supposed to be only around 18. Mind you the supposedly elder sister is probably not much older, but has had to take on more responsibility while shielding her mother and younger sister.
