This is a cool build. My favourite build though is the centipede armour with venomous armguard, equipped with the staff that adds more crit when inflicted with poison, gourd equipped with the death stinger, max out mana with spirit and other items then cast spellbinder, change equipment and spirit again to boost attack/crit (I usually do non-able) then you're balling
@@notreallyworried I did a similar build to this except didn’t use spellbinder for my poison build
I call the Pilgrim set the speedrun set. Once you are done with second cycle, it’s all about get what is needed to get 100% items and the minimum for the true ending. That means run through the game.
@@nguyendq1 I’m gonna make a true speed run build here in the next couple days, I was testing some gear earlier and you can get some insane movement on this game
My build is pretty much exactly this apart from the spirit. Works a treat on NG+ No boss has even stood a chance so far. Can wait to slap Erlang with it

I absolutely love the Pilgrim armor set, but I use Erlang spear, the only thing I wish we could do is wear armor but be able to change the look, kinda like in God of war, only cuz I like changing the look every once in awhile
@@wizkid8422 dude that would be sick af , especially because they did a crazy job of making the mythic armors look insane
I really hope there will be a boss arena in the dlc 😢
hmmm. Making me reconsider Pilgrim's Armor set after seeing this vid yes.
I always went for the other sets with unique perks...elemental etc because I thought they would have been stronger than Pilgim but I'll give this a try.
@@davidtsmith33 the pilgrim set is pretty nice if you upgrade it
@@lNVenus Yeah I've since upgraded it up to Legendary and using since. Would love to upgrade it to Mythical (especially for the gain extra focus perk) but the few and far between Celestial Ribbons is what's killing me to upgrade it to Mythical. I thgink I need just 1 more Celestial Ribbon but wondering if I should hold out for another armour set to come later in Chapter 5 or perhaps 6 in case needed.
I'm currently using this armour for speed running, thanks again bro

Only that phase 2 Great Sage will break this build. He take all your relics, thus the bonus, which mean clones no longer coordinate, and other relic abilities/buffs
@@BadEnd98 yea that’s why I made a guide on the best build to deal with Erlang and the great sage. They made this game so that you can switch a build whenever you want specifically because different builds do better vs other bosses

How are all the duplicates hitting all at once like you?
you have to beat the game and go into NG+ and use UNIFIED MINDS as the 6th relic !
I tried, did the set up just like you....sprint for 10secs and my attack just sits at 167. Help
@@FaisonI so as soon as you stop moving it instantly goes away. As long as you sprint and then use a charge heavy with the smash stance you will always get that damage. You also need the FULL pilgrim armor set , all 4 pieces

I subscribed the other day when you helped me with erlang. That whole fight routine I adopted and have become so good at the game.
However I’m stuck on the two wukong monkeys now. Thinking about this pilgrim set now
@@JFAMcleanings I have a guide to beating the great sage if you want to check it out. It’s pretty similar to the Erlang strategy but just a little different

@@dennysilva3556 is any build going to do anything in NG+5 without using 4 medicines, yaksha king armor and no hitting the boss ?

@@FaisonI no these clips are NG+ but you can get this build online in chapter 2 NG if you wanted. Would recommend upgrading it in chapter 3 tho by the tiger blacksmith
@lNVenus you don't have that fan/tornado until chap 5 though right?. & how do you get the clones to copy your charge attack?.

This armor is so broken but so boring to use imo.

Hey.. how do i fully upgrade it ?? Does it require 1 play through ?? Im short of one celestial ribbon and on broken shell fight in first play through
@@adrish.f9893 in one play through you can get enough celestial ribbons to upgrade about one and a half armor pieces to mythic. Make sure to check the store in chapter 6 and the secret area in chapter 5 as well. There’s also a lot of celestial ribbon pick ups in the chest in the secret area of chapter 5
