I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they parallel you finding persephone after beating hades in the first game by doing the same with this but have Melinoe find her brother instead She does go into his room after all

Just take Demeter, who was willing to kill of humanity in an eternal winter because she thought they were responsible for Persephone disappearing, and the rest of the Pantheon just... doesn't give a shit. Or Zeus, who "forgives" Hades for Zeus kidnapping Persephone of his own free will. And those are just the two ones I can immediately think of.
Well there was an affinity system in the first game for us to build a connection between Zag and the gods. The fact that they compliment on Zag in this games goes to show that he had a significant impact on them.
Not enough is being said about Chronos' voice actor and the distortion implemented to his voice. It just fits so well and the delivery of the lines is excelent as well.
I like the idea that Time is an almighty power that you need to have some connection to yourself and be not caught unaware in order to combat. That’s why Melanoe doesn’t get one-shot, her godly powers/being revolve around the moon, a symbol of passing time, she has been taught how to deal with all sorts of magical powers before, AND she’s not un-aware. It would explain how someone as terrifyingly powerful as canonical Zagreus who has beaten his own Father up to 10+ times would lose to Chronos so easily-

Not really weird that they are, for one he was the protag for the first game AND is canonically strong enough to fight his dad on equal footing. He's a god of rebirth/resurrection and his whole job t the end of the game was to keep making his way to the surface to see any weaknesses in the anti-escape measures. Zag is badass, and deserves some hype.

Well the thing is I could see zegreus taking an offer from Kronos one way or another. Kronos is allowing the dead to roam the earth. The place where you start in the first game become the final place for a final boss while the place where Charon spanks you for robbing him become the first area of the game in the sequel.
Okay so I heard a theory and I'm starting to come around on it. We have now confirmed that the satyrs were worshiping chronos and that is what the ritual they were trying to perform in the temple of styx was about. However zagreus a God who had powers tied to rebirth revitalization after dying and blood started charging through the place wielding weapons that were being upgraded with Titan blood. So while their rituals were being stopped they got a new idea to eventually steal Zagreus armory of fully upgraded arms and used the titan magic and essence charged in them to revitalize chronos. It also feels like it could potentially have been a punishment by the fates upon the House of Hades for zagreus getting reincarnated against their will but I doubt that they would put themselves in a position where they wouldn't be in control unless they also foresaw that they would be rescued.

Nah that's too far fetched. In the first game there's dialogue that Satyr is increasingly becoming a problem while zag always had his satyr killing spree It's just enough to hold them back. And if you notice the mages who follow chronos is satyr. So it's all satyr fault i think zag daily killing spree only be able to hold them back till mel was born. And satyr successfully collected chronos body pieces and resurrect him

the "recesive trait" on time stoping ressitance, is probly chaos's doing, it said he did plant seed for Chronos's demise that already bore fruit, and since mel was the most likely to directly confront Chronos it just make sense he did somthing like that. tho it did say he dosnt know what it will look like and that that it will be unexpected even for itself, nonetheless the only not explaind Mel ability being that.(yeah and the magick poty that allow you to pause durring the boss figth dosnt count its more a nod from the gamedevs.) ....Chaos is furious and nobody seem to notice xD

Nyx - gives us access to the Mirror of night Zagreus - Playable Character with his or crossover weapons Hades - Grants boons before leaving a run and when entering Tartarus. Persephone - Also grants boons or Upgrades like Hades with her own twist. hoping its in the final game or a DLC expansion.

We have to remember that the underworld is supposed to be both heaven and hell for the dead in Greek mythology. Also you might wanna look up the myth for, Sissyphus because trust me despite how much he's changed he was well deserving of his fate at the time.

I’d say Hades isn’t a “bad guy” just for punishing people who were horrible, and he definitely doesn’t deserve this punishment. Sorry, I’m a Hades empathiser, even in the first game
Hades was right to do those things though, and is by all accounts a very just King. Meg and her sisters torment terrible people, Sisyphus was a Tyrant King who violated the rules of Hospitality and slaughtered his guests for amusement, and Achilles and Patroclus were warmongers who annihilated numerous towns surrounding Troy. None of the examples you gave represent inherent unjust acts, and even if those things you said were bad, Chronos clearly has no intention of being "better" than Hades, as evidenced by his allowance of the dead to roam the surface. Chronos is not even slightly in the right, not every story needs a morally grey villain.

Zeus isn't afraid of nyx. The iliad said he was in awe of her meaning that he respected her as an old deity the same way he did with gaia. Zeus likes where the primordials were and wanted to keep them in their place it wasn't because she's stronger than him.
Wonder who is 'stronger' of the two children of Hades? Zag is probably the better warrior, but Mel is a magic user, so it is comparing apples to oranges kind of thing. Yes, Zagerues was defeated by Chronos, but was he booned up or in a base state during the attack? Even Mel tells Hades she has a chance one-on-one (compared to 6 gods taking him all at once in the first war) because she is empowered by the boons of the other gods, so even she admits her base state would not likely be enough 99% of the time.
He likes to talk about himself as righteous, especially since he ruled during the Golden Age of Mankind, where he controlled everything and mankind was at their peak. It's all Ego, he doesn't really care about people, just making himself look good.

Wonder who is 'stronger' of the two children of Hades? Zag is probably the better warrior, but Mel is a magic user, so it is comparing apples to oranges kind of thing. Yes, Zagerues was defeated by Chronos, but was he booned up or in a base state during the attack? Even Mel tells Hades she has a chance one-on-one (compared to 6 gods taking him all at once in the first war) because she is empowered by the boons of the other gods, so even she admits her base state would not likely be enough 99% of the time.

It was partially Zagreus’ fault Chronos came back. That Titan Blood we were collecting to upgrade our weapons? Guess which Titan it belonged too?
To be fair, Hades and Meg seem to have a big stash of it. So hard to say Zag collecting some causes this.

He likes to talk about himself as righteous, especially since he ruled during the Golden Age of Mankind, where he controlled everything and mankind was at their peak. It's all Ego, he doesn't really care about people, just making himself look good.
