Just finished day 10 of this series, and I am loving it. I had switched from Pilates to circuit training a few months ago and then started having trouble with my lower back, but I have already noticed the difference after switching back to your videos. My back is feeling much stronger already. Thank you! :-D

Hi Lisa, thanks for your message! So glad you have been enjoying this Pilates workout! While some soreness is normal, it should never feel painful to be on your mat. Our recommendation would be to first speak with a medical provider to make sure you're cleared to do Pilates and discuss any specific precautions you might want to take. And if/when you are cleared, we encourage you to continue to listen to your body and always modify based on your needs. ❤️ (Also, if you're looking for a wider variety of workouts, you might enjoy the Workout Library in The Balanced Life Sisterhood - there's 150+ options to choose from, and you can search by workout focus, length, muscle group, etc. 🙂) Hopefully this helps - feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
These are killer!! Why does my bones pop when bicycling up and not in reverse??? Great vid. Great job everyone still here not giving up!! It’s my first Pilates. Everrr. I’m such a yoga chick, but still trying to see why these should be around after the challenge. Anyone else here a yoga over Pilates fan? Why and why not? Thank You 🙏
Today was the first day when I actively had to pause between each new exercise because I could not keep up. It was a little easier on my left side, but my right leg has always been a bit weak and wobbly, so that was exhausting and very hard for me to do. But I still completed today's workout, and I definitely feel the burn! Even though this was very hard for me, this has been my favorite day so far 😁
It takes time to build strength and we encourage you to listen to your body, go at your own pace, and do what feels best for you! You did the right thing by modifying- it is expected and the best way to build strength and reach your goals! Way to go!
Robin, Thanks for this challenge! I’m also using it to stay fit during the quarantine in the Netherlands. Day 10 was very intense! I wasn’t sure how to position my upper body and at some point felt like putting down my head. Any recommendations on how to hold up the upper body during the last part?
Hi! I am not sure what part you are talking about, but if it's the side-lying exercises, you can keep your head on the mat until your strength increases. So glad you are enjoying the challenge! :)
Keep working at it Iteke! As you continue trying, you will build more strength and see progress. In the meantime, feel free to modify and/or stop when you need to! :)

WOW Robin! This was intense for the booty (butt, glutes, backside, hips, thighs, bum, etc.)!!! There was a lot of creaking and cracking, moaning and groaning going on during the workout, but I made it through. AND there was so much ooohhing and aaahhhing going on during that oh so juicy and wonderful stretch after each one. It felt so great after. Thanks so very much!
