I had to pause the last two days because I wasn't home and didn't have access to a mat, so today I'm doing days 11 and 13. Those yoga flow was completely new to me, so I found it a bit hard to follow along, but as I progressed, it got easier to follow the pace of my breathing and own body. I probably won't be doing these exercises on my own, but it was nice to get to know these new techniques.
Beautiful to watch and beautiful to do. I felt like I was doing a ballet. I loved the fluidity of one movement into the next. However, I can see how someone who is unfamiliar with the practice of Yoga would have a difficult time with this mini class. If you found this class extreme difficult, it's probably one that you should do on your "days off."

Awesome video. I am not new to yoga. I have taken classes and have tried other youtube videos, but none of them have connected my breath with movement the way Sarah Beth has. Sarah Beth if you are reading this THANK YOU for providing detailed information as to when to breath through each movement. I finally got the connection between movement and breath. This yoga flow really changed my yoga practice and I will be doing this on a daily basis. Thank you so much. I greatly appreciate it. Wow truly amazing for me. Thank you.
This was fun! I’m finding these the perfect amount of difficulty, and the perfect time length. Got so carried away that I did 2x day 2 today, then in the afternoon I got bored so I did more! Ended up doing day 7,8,9,10 and 11 as well which means today I did an hour or more of Pilates yay! When I do harder things my will power gives out 5 mins in and I quit, these are gentle yet so effective and I can do as much or as little as I need depending on my energy levels!
Loved the yoga workout! I am new to yoga and felt the repetition and free flow allowed me to feel more confident each time I did it...thank you for adding this into the Pilates challenge!

You'll notice in the video description that I recommend free flowing with your favorite Pilates moves if yoga isn't your thing. :) The reason I included a few complementary workouts in the 30-Day Challenge is to take what you learn in Pilates and practice applying it to other forms of exercise. Because Pilates is about so much more than just exercises on a mat. Hope that helps! If this isn't your favorite feel free to revisit another day of the challenge and then just keep moving forward.

OK, Im on the second time through the pilates challenge. Just wanted to let you know that I grew!!! It's not a necessity, Im a tall woman - 6' already, but I just measured at 6'1/2". Ha so funny!
With free flow you can really make it your own so it isn't boring to you! Like she said you can add in and take out what you want/don't want. It's a good opportunity to really get in touch with yourself.

I really wish the full 30 days was just pilate and not bringing any other guests because they don’t have the same energy as you. I don’t align with them at all and don’t like their exercises but love yours though!

Something to keep in mind too is that when you enjoy a class with another instructor, their cues may help you to connect to your body and the exercise in a new and different way, allowing you to challenge yourself and progress further in your practice. While not everyone will connect with every instructor, you always have choices with Lindywell!

Enjoyed this different to Pilates and I do a yoga challenge before this but it was a change to do free flow

Too repetitive! It gets boring

You are right! If you're making it your own it shouldn't feel boring. Try some new moves and have a little fun. :)
