I describe how I made a custom cart to carry a Power Vac PV2100 Unit and battery on while walking to 4 different pools on a commercial account.

Does anyone know what is the type of plug the power vac uses? I know obviously it's a 3-prong make and female. But i can't seem to find anyone aside from the ridiculously over priced powervac company...

It is a 3 prong connector as you stated, but I think it is proprietary to the PowerVac company.

True Light Pools, LLC I actually found out that it's a marine plug. Never found out the actual name of it yet but it's commonly used for trolling motors on boats. And they're cheap, way cheaper than paying $30 for one. Hope this may help someone if they come across a broke or faulty female or male power vac plug and don't want to pay an absurd amount.

Mr. NASIR thanks for letting me know what you found. Great to know when one of mine goes out.

I wonder if this would work for a hammerhead or Riptide

Probably, just may have to adjust brackets to be sure they will hold the other units, I'm not sure how wide those are.
