  • I show some different features between the Riptide Pool Vacuum System and the Power Vac Pool Vacuum System. I have used the Power Vac units for years and this is my first Riptide to purchase so I compare different things between the units.

    I hope you're rates are good. Must be to get a riptide. I have a $10,000 a month route. 50 pools only. It's a great route. Took me 20 years to weed out the stinkers haha. I still remember the $60 for full service nonsense.

      I clean about 50pools per week and i have a riptide, you can have one too, it just saves you so much time in pools, your way less tired when you get home, if my riptide breaks, it will probly be hell for me back to the old way.

    customer service from Riptide is amazing. When you call you talk with Matt and David. They're the ones who made this machine

      Yes, they were very nice to me.

      I haven't had the same luck. They refused to honor warranties and replace broken parts. Someone backed into my cart while I was parked and drove off. Not even a week after I got it. David told me to "Just take it to a weld shop" I still laugh at that email to this day. But despite that. This machines made me tons of money for sure.

    What can you say about the suction power of both? We are willing to get a Powervac2500 and found XP riptide. Do you have motor specs?

    • @truelightpoolsllc4441
      @truelightpoolsllc4441  Рік тому +1

      The PV2500 is for fountains and shallow water use, the Riptide is not. The Riptide will have more suction, stronger motor. The Riptide is heavier if ordering the individual unit and carrying it. Only other real difference is the Riptide you move it in the pool forwards and back, there is no moving it sideways. With the PowerVac you can move it sideways. But PowerVac is still having issues with replacement parts, so things will work good until something breaks and then they say parts will be shipped withing 90 days. Yeah ok, I don't think so. That means my unit is down not working for 90 days and I hope I get the part in 90 days. Yeah right, no thanks. RipTide has replacement parts in stock, they have everything in stock and outstanding customer service. Hope this helps.

      @@truelightpoolsllc4441 thank you for this vid, with the knuckle the pole attaches to the vaccum head on the Riptide since it is rotatable..doesn’t that allow you to maneuver the Riptide left & right?

    • @truelightpoolsllc4441
      @truelightpoolsllc4441  Рік тому +1

      @@paulk9188 You can maneuver it towards the left or right as you push it out for a return stroke, like a regular carpet vacuum. But it doesn’t move side to side like a PowerVac can.

      You should post a pic of your cart you made to carry the Riptide for everyone to see, so if they want to make a cheaper cart they could.
