Pin pls 🙏🥺 love Ur videos soo much oh and I subscribe and I liked ❤❤❤ thank u learn to me lots of things about cats ... You make me learn cause I have a cat too 😅😅😅😊
This channel uses old cat books and articles for the information, which is fine as I have several really old cat books and all the information of this channel is in them. I got them for free from a charity book save scheme, try and get some your self.
My 18-month old cat uses her tail to intentionally slap me about in play. She initiates it and seems to enjoy making me jump and act indignant. She pretends she's napping above me on the back of my chair and then gives me a tail whack across the face. I protest and move further away and she recalculates her tail aim! Smack! Then she acts innocent. It's one of her favorite games! 😊😸
Yes My cat thumps his tail when He wants to be left alone but more often He does it because He wants more petting. When He don't want to be interacted with He will go sit in his bed, and I don't touch him or talk to Him when He is there.
One of my cats "pets" me with the last couple inches of her tail. She'll be sitting or laying next to me, and gently pull the end of her tail against my arm or leg, as if petting me. She'll do this for 10 or 15 minutes sometimes. It's so sweet! ❤🐱❤
My cat quivers her tail when she's on top of the refrigerator and jumps down and walks across the counter looking at me right after I came inside from feeding the stray cat outside
Maybe she's jealous. I'm no "cat psychologist " and since I started taking care of strays and 1 domestic I've seen a lot of behavior that looks like jealousy.
She may have sprayed especially since there is a stray outside your door. That's what I've learned when their tail moves like that they are spraying or marking. Even females...id clean up there if I were you. If you're feeding a stray that's prob what happened. Not only unneutered males but neutered males and spayed females. Have one of both and have witnessed them marking territory esp when I was fostering 2 other cats. Most def territory marking.
Most of what you tell here, I recognize. It did not took me very long, to observe my first cat, to know what these signs mend. And yes sometimes I "stalked" my first cat (of my own) to get to know him! I think every cat lover, should do that. Only one tail sign where I am not sure of! After my first cat Poeshka came to me... a second cat (female) came to me, and a year later she had 3 kittens, of wich one I kept too. And sure my first cat had still his tail up, when we (all 3) walked around the block. Than came another cat, not a fighter... but after a few years the kitten I kept... started to become an Alpha male... and behaved like that too. Since that Poeshka gets his tail less higher than he was used too, his tail went to about half the hight. Not downwards but not up either. But still in walk around the block, with the other cats. Yes I saw that one tail was missing pointing at te sky. But two more cats came to me... the cat of my parents (who died within 13 months after each other). However, my Poeshka did not run away from me, he still loved my shoulder too, to be save. He and I did love each other nevertheless. But my question ... did I not see enough in his tail pointing backwards? By walking around the block? I know it might be a mysterie. He never complaint, almost always came with us. And his foodbowl were always on his special place above the freezer, where only he could come.
I noticed this in one grand cat. When another cat joined the family, they loved each other, however, I noticed a difference in his tail height! After the new cat grew a little older, she became an alpha cat, dominating him. His tail was mostly straight out, almost downward turned. He eventually left the family or died. We do not know. I think he left and found another home where he could, once again, be the alpha male cat. You are lucky Poeshka stays with you. Treat him really, really special! We thought we were treating our now missing cat equally to her, but maybe we were not.
@@3SeasonsUSA Thank you for your response. Poeshka died 3 years ago from anemia, age13. The cat who became the dominant cat died 1,5 year earliër at the Vet. The dominant cat had more respect for Poeshka than for the others. But still if dominand cat was angry, it took him some minutes to get calm again. He died at 8 years old, due to many tumors in his belly, just like his mother, a few years earlier. Probably a DNA thing.
@@3SeasonsUSA That is true! But I keep my lost cats in my heart and in my soul. And although I am know that I never get up to what Jezus or God want from me. I have this strange thought that most loved animals, could get a place in a pet heaven, if they are loved enough. They deserve an ticket from Petrus, to life forever. And for those cats and dogs I hope, that they will see me again.
My cat will puff up the lower part of her tail, near her back, when she is upset with me. Like when she wants me to hold her and I won’t, and when I break out the suitcase for work travel and she’s left at home with the wife and kids. She goes to bed with my oldest daughter and usually sleeps the night with her.
My good lesson… Make sure to approach them slowly. If they want to be with you, hold you hand facing down. They will decide whether they are comfortable enough to approach you. Also do NOT approach them while standing up! You are like a GIANT to them! Best practice is to get down to a seated position and hold your hand face palm down. Cats love it when they can see you face them.
We as humans will never fully understand cat Behavior or if they can really love . Each cat is an indivudal. Heres is what I learned in over forty years of having cats. One trying to make them love you can sometimes make matters worse. Two Let them do as they want, when they want petting or attention they will come to you. Three as long as they do not bite, scrach or run from you, Make pretend they do love you and all is good....
There is one more, if you have imposed your will on a cat by for example by pooting them out the dore when they do not want to go as they leave they will have their tail up and give two or more rigid front to back jerks which means 'up-yours' they are angry with you.
2 among all of these cat tail movements are very common with my 2 cats in my household. They both giving me constantly the signal that they want some good treatment. I barely have enough time to do that and I often mistaken it with their intention of eating. I regularly just think that they are hungry, but I have a difficult time when I don't check their tail about what exactly they want. Their tail can often standing horizontally or just hanging. I cannot tell what are those signs.
Is not easy to interpret the tail signals when petting a cat that lies in your lap while also purring at the same time. Affirmative sign of feeling content, or should I stop petting for a while?
Siamese is that what you mean my phone won't even let me type what you wrote😂 and if I translate it to English it says my earthquake bites me. hilarious
My cat quivers a mild way with tip of the tail whe he is comfortable and is enjoying our company and get petted when he is in good mood. So stop that shut talking every cats are individuals so you can't put all cats in the same box!!.
Well you obviously know nothing of cats and probably don't like them in which case you are far from an animal lover. I hope you don't or never have any pets. You are also NOT a good person!!! JESUS !!👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👿👿

Very informative and well explained. Keep it up!
Aw the quivering tail aw. Mine likes to do that just whenever she sees me, walks to the chair where I sit and moves her tail that way. Awww 🥰

@@erikabee3498 So sad when we lose them. How can we ever recover the loss? No cat can ever replace the ones lost.

I had a cat without a tail. I had to guess by observing his other body language like ears and whiskers.
Me too😂 but i can read him by his vocal language .. i have some cat who has a tail..
Yes I have a Manx cat & 2 other Manx previously. Yes
my Manx have been very smart & vocal. But not like constant meowing
@Yukina_rai tail or no tail
Cats Will find a way to communicate
Cat tail is showing us what mood our cat is in😊😂
If you pay close attention, you can easily observe this
@KittyTipsOfficial absolutely right ✅️
I am still learning! Thank you 😊 ❤ UK

I'm seeing this video with my cat

Dr John Bradshawa’s cat picture is lit 🔥
My cat, a Birman carries her fluffy tail parallel to her spine. She will hold it up briefly but never behind her.
My little girl quivers her tail when I'm about to feed her

It is all correct!
Im sorry but you have to be an eedeot if you ownedd cats for so long and cant read their basic body language
I have 5 black cats and only 2 have full tails. The bobtail one tail stay upright.
My cat thumps his tail deliberately hard to tease my other cats, or into our faces when he's on the couch. He's a very spiteful feline.
My cat's tail seems less flexible than previous cats I've had. Her question mark tail isn't that curved.
Question mark cat. Now I know 😂

Tail up equals, "Oh hai!" Tail tucked equals, "Hell nah!"

One of my girls is a Manx. How do I know her mood?
Watch her face.Cats use a lot of facial expressions.😮
Their ears and face will show what they’re thinking. When their ears are in airplane mode or going flat it means they’re scared.
So basically if the tails isn’t up leave them alone
Wrong! My cats love their tails stroked so they hold it strait up! Also other experts say a straight up tail is a sign of trust!
L means love.
The picture caption one is absolutely wrong!
My cat is a Manx.....
How would anybody know what the cat's tail moving whatever way means ?
in germany we call it Schwanzsprache
My cat hates me. Every movement it makes lets me know of its seething resentment. It wants me dead.
Or they want food
What is this? Rocket science day?? Duh…… all this is obvious.
