Blood over Bright Haven has been on my to-buy list for what feels like ages! And even though I'm no horror reader, Where the dead Brides gather has been added to my wishlist..
I think what a lot of people miss about Discords popularity is that Discord is a rebirth of sorts of the BBS/forum communities that flourished before dedicated social mediazillas a la FB and Twitter came along. These were ideal for smaller groups which focused on specific interests and topics but didn’t want to wade through “everyone talking about everything” to follow discussion threads. You can still find them, here and there. Discord is just these, reborn and augmented,
Of course we need your take Thomas! 😊
Woo Hoo Incoming discord! and the Thursday Reading Hangouts are wonderful and everyone should join us.
Some cool choices there! Would definitely love to hear you cover more of Abercrombie’s work on the channel😁
BLOOD OVER BRIGHT HAVEN seems interesting.

I loved Semiosis but for some reason I didn't enjoy Interference. But. I might read Usurpation if my library picks it up.
I think of SFF180 as something that trumps the concerns of… uh… never mind.
Thank you Thomas for this.
My pleasure!

I always saw Reddit as the evolution of Usenet but I suppose Discord channels have the advantage of being invite-only and more easily moderated?
I'm not much of a Discord user either, but I'll give it a shot!
I paused the video twice to put holds on Where the Dead Brides Gather and Blood Over Bright Haven. The Queen sounds creepy and intriguing, too!
Why does The Queen look like it has been through a couple of war zones?
Cheers!
Could you cover Revenant-X, ik paradise one was an brainfuck but i hope he learned from it and this one is only 400 pages
I do have a copy so I will surely add it to the review queue soon.
