How the trains stay railed is beyond me.
Because of its genius wheel concept
Great video ! 👍🏻
Wow nice why so why do u like trains?
BEAUTIFUL VIDEOS. GOOD PERFORMANCE AND EXCELLENT. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR EVERYTHING.
the amount of times I’ve came back to this video over the past 8 years is insane
1:00 I watch this when I was young and I still can’t figure how this was still running 😂
Me too
The struggle is rail.
Suncoast Streetbob no train no gain
Suncoast Streetbob lmfao 😂😂😭💀
Suncoast Streetbob HA HA
hahahaha!
lol
Track is like road, it has to be maintained and once in a while replaced. It also helps if it was built right to begin with.
Why do I find these so interesting?

Сразу не понял, но как прочёл надпись на трамвае : «Еду в дельфинарий», сразу понял что это за город))))
Жемчужина у моря❤️
Is it just me or does anyone else wants to drive them.
Yes I want to
Me too :D
unbelievable
I think they need to do a go fund me campaign for rail maintenance.
Robert Sistrunk

Robert Sistrunk these were most likely short railroads built in third world countries to haul freight short distances
Nope, there were peat/turf - railways in Germany. The rails are loose on the ground in marshland without ballast, cause there are moved in daily/weekly shedules some times. But that ist no problem for theses little trains. The Tram was always the same line in eastern europe und the green loco that came fourth might be in Russia. Only the second train was third world. The rest were some US-railroads....
I can't believe that the government don't close them down if they cant maintain them. It's extremely dangerous.
Oh my god the nostalgia finding this again after almost an hour of search!
Extra ordinary Collection.
Lol, I love how most of these are in Eastern Europe.
"Miroslav, are you ofs the thinkings we should of put foundation BEFORE we are of putting dis tracks?"
"Nyet, Ivan, u r of stupids. If we are of buying cement for foundation where will ve get money for of Wodka?"
how can you tell the country?
is it that American trains are more stereotypical? :|
Cheese Grater
I guess European trains have a certain look to them.
I also noticed the adverts in the background were in Cyrillic, that slavic looking script
Well, the Russian signs are a clue...
99% of the trains had russian lettering.
+LinusScrubTips I know no the tram is Ukrainian but I think the starting train is in Belarus,Russia or Bulgaria
Time-lapse movies shows trains that are actually moving very slowly and carefully. It is amazing how reliable 1800's railroad technology still is today, even when tracks are not properly maintained. Buckling of continuous steel tracks happens when temperatures change throughout the seasons, causing expansion and contraction of the tracks. Proper tracks are laid in sections with breaks between the sections so that expansion has room to occur. When expansion has this room, there is no buckling of the tracks. This applies also to some pavements and roads for cars and trucks.
David Spector thank you. I was scrolling trying to find an explanation
The newest railroads didn't have breaks (CWR - Continuous Welded Rails), but much more expensive than normal rails. en dot wikipedia dot org/wiki/Track_(rail_transport)#Continuous_welded_rail

О, ужас! ... Даже в городе есть такие дороги?!!!
I didn't even know Harbor Freight sold railroad tracks.
Best comment I've seen in awhile
Haha!
You might want to slow those down to their true speeds. Nothing can travel that fast over those rails, they would derail to easily.
1:03 "Fuck the weight load limit, we have a job to do."
DOOD WTH SWEARING?
Thank You for this video.
Nah, I've had a far worse ride than any of those and it happened in England! What happened was that my through-ticket to Exeter was not properly honoured and I was evicted into the street to wait for my connection which was at twenty four minutes past five in the morning. (The station closed at half past one in the small hours) It was winter and in my opinion it was bitterly cold and there was nowhere to shelter as the accountants have done away with Waiting Rooms. There were not even any cardboard boxes to shelter in or use as insulation as the Council have made everything as unfriendly as possible for "street people". Result I got Frostbite and a blister filled with yellow liquid formed on my big toe. OK the blister has almost gone after three months but I am still suffering pains elsewhere as a result of that fiasco. Furthermore the "24 hour McDonalds just down the road" did not exist according to about six taxi drivers so I would surmise that the McDonalds story was just the station manager's ruse to get passengers out of the station.
I SHALL NOT BE RENEWING MY RAILCARD as from now on I won't be using the train anymore. It is better to use a decent motor-coach if one has to go up-country to buy a fresh car etc. On no account use the so-called bargain basement type of coach operation as these are truly dismal.
Bad coaches (1) The drivers usually only drive for less than an hour before hopping-off and driving another coach back to where they came from. It is nobody's coach.
(2) If the coach has a bad fault such as a bent prop-shaft that causes the floor to buzz with intolerable vibration, the driver doesn't care as he will be changing vehicles very soon.
(3) It is common for these dreadful coaches to have bad engines with misfires. In fact a "cheap" coach that was only a third full was struggling with hills. It was so bad that on the Trans-Pennine Motorway, lorries carrying massive steel girders and heavy loads of stone were overtaking it! By the time that the coach reached the North East it was three hours overdue! That's another company that is now on my blacklist.
Take care!
Jeez bro no one is gonna read that 😂😭
I can't believe they don't derail, that's so crazy
If you are a experienced, professional driver it is possible to drive on these tracks.
@@RealistInIdealists817 What about an experienced, unprofessional driver?

I remember watching this in 2016 when i was a kid, good old days
Man you getting up Thea boi
Awesome the man who built this track had done great job 😛
The track are build in a straight line they usually melt due to super hot days
2:00 - this one is swaying effeminately. Literally sashaying down the track!
Basically Thomas the train when hes drunk
The designer of those train tracks probably had parkinson
or drink to much vodka
Thank you for this very funny video, The TOP! It made me laugh so much, couldn't believe that it's possible for those trains to still go from A to B and transport people in (relative) safety, but thoroughly shaken on arrival. It also increased my confidence in humanity, that no matter what mad shapes the rail-track shows up with , the train will ride as long as the track is in one piece. It's not very different from how many of us lead lives along a track that has lost shape.
Still, life goes on, it can only become better and in the end.... it will ;)
Incredible video!!!
you sure went off the rails with this one
That first one..... it's gonna be a while before that train gets to where it's going
That Sure Would Be A Rough Ride

Funny, and also earthquakes and many dead children! funny xD they are just laying there. And they invest so much in a railroad that is destroyed. haha loosers! But atleast this is funny right :D
Or you stop and think about others alittle. Do you care about others? Or is it still funny cause it dosnt affect you? ;s

California's new bullet train.......
Incredible!!
The track is made of aluminium.

Damn I though us infrastructure was in bad shape
we're greeeeaaaattt!!!!!!

And I'm complaining if I sometimes feel some welds on the track...
+Tom Quimby The USA.
Well where I live at the public infrastructure is just fine, railroads in the U.S. are privately owned and it`s up to them to fix their own infrastructure.

XD how are these tracks legal, were the engineers of them high or something?
I don't know if this legal or not
But the reason why railway company doesn't try to fix this is because the cost itself was very high
That's why they just let it be
Zoom in extremely, play it in double mode, call it ‘the most extreme railways’ and a new vid is born.....🤔
Nice video
How to NOT have done a Railway Track laid out. No Leveling, no adequate embedding, no stable Base Grounding, lacking enough Wooden/Concrete Bars embedded into a bed of Pebbles. No Levelling and Stuffing Machines in Service obviously for regular Servicing of the Railtrack. Derailing is highly imminent here.
Bernd J P que me dijo que
,
Bernd J P wty
Bernd J P in the UK they have all that but the lazy staff haven't got the balls to get out of bed and work that's why nearly all British trains are late or break down all the time.
No good having the equipment if you haven't got reliable workers
those tracks were made by drunk people.
Niki M ⏹↗️↗️↗️↗️
Niki M
This is an example of badly made or badly maintained tracks. They were straight originally, but since they were set up on uneven earth with no compacted gravel (or sometimes even ties), as the earth settled around the rails, the trains pressed and warped the rails into the settling earth.
Niki M no ties or ballast
No when it gets warmer at summer the rails expand which makes them a little bit deformed
How are these trains not derailing or detaching from their cargo?
because of low speed
Z0MG H4X
Theyre going slowly
Magnets
What was the point or reason for these uneven tracks? Anyone know? Seems unacceptable and totally unnecessary? 🤔
Let's go with the lowest bid. I'm sure my brother in law will do a good job!
