I really love how the rinehart 2-1 looks. But lacking the quiet/super quiet baffle optios vance and hines provide. The vance and hines pro pipe will be the safer bet for me. Lots of db checks in my area. And i don't want to have a loudef exhaust. Just a deeper one (don't have stock now obviously)
RevZilla, in your opinion, which 2 into 1 Exhaust has lesser Decibels at full throttle? Rinehart, Bassani Road Rage, Two Brothers, V&H Pro Short! You can even throw in a suggestion I haven't typed in. I have Screamin Eagle Slip ons on my 06' Dyna Low Rider. And I flat out love em. Deep Throaty at cruising, and semi loud when getting down. But I know for a fact I will be seeking more power, that only a full exhaust can provide. But I don't want to "Wake the Dead", or let Cops know I'm having Fun.
The Rinehart is likely the loudest, and the Bassani is likely the quietest (though still not as quiet as a stock exhaust), so I'd go with Bassani. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/bassani-road-rage-2-into-1-exhaust-system-for-harley-dyna-2006-2017
I have a 2003 dyna wide glide, wondering if a full system exhaust is louder than slip ons? If so by how much? I am looking at getting straight shots with no baffles and wondering if I have to tune the bike for it?
I have a 2005 Softail Deluxe with thunder header 2in1 exhaust. With stock air cleaner. I bought it this way. Seems to run fine. I'm wanting to put a set of Samson 36" true dual fish tail on with a spike air cleaner or can I keep the stock air cleaner?? Thanks for your input...
You can certainly keep the stock air cleaner if you choose, but if you replace the air cleaner, you'll likely need to retune the bike a bit. -DrewZilla
The Big Radius has a slightly higher tone than the Mini Grenades. Otherwise, it's hard to describe the sound differences in a comment. I recommend seeing if you can find some videos/audio of each. -DrewZilla
A 2-into-1 full exhaust will allow for the biggest power increases along with a fuel tuner, so here are some good options. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/vance-hines-stainless-2-into-1-upsweep-exhaust-for-harley-dyna-1991-2017 *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/vance-hines-competition-series-2-into-1-exhaust-for-harley-dyna-2006-2017 *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/vance-hines-hi-output-2-into-1-short-exhaust-for-harley-dyna-2006-2017
Hey Lemmy. I'm planning on going with Rinehart 2 into 1, with same intake on my 2019 softail slim. You stated in video that I would need tuning for correct airflow afterwards. Does dealer provide this or do I have to buy tuner also?
The dealer does not provide this unless you also pay to have your bike tuned. A lot of people just get a tuner like an FP3 and easily retune the bike after installing the exhaust themselves. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/vance-hines-fuelpak-fp3-autotuner-for-harley-2011-2019
Right now, V&H have announced one full-system for the '18 Breakout, the Big Radius. It is expected to start shipping early-February. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/vance-hines-big-radius-exhaust-for-harley-softail-2018
Rineharts are known to be loud, so instead you might consider the 3" slip-ons from Vance & Hines, Bassani, or Cobra. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/vance-hines-3-round-twin-slash-slip-on-mufflers-for-harley-softail-07-2017 *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/bassani-3-firepower-series-slip-on-mufflers-for-harley-softail-2007-2017 *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/cobra-3-rpt-slip-on-mufflers-for-harley-softail-2007-2015
I am not aware of Dyna exhausts with both equal-length headers and dual mufflers (one on each side of the bike). If you just want equal-length headers, then go for the following Bassani Road Rage options. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/bassani-road-rage-iii-2-into-1-exhaust-system-for-harley-dyna-1991-2017 *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/bassani-road-rage-2-into-1-greg-lutzka-exhaust-for-harley-dyna-1991-2017 *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/bassani-road-rage-mega-power-exhaust-system-for-harley-dyna-1991-2017
RevZilla damnit, is there some kind of social stigma against a non-Touring HD having exhaust on the left side?! All I want is a pipe on both sides of my Dyna, like a Road Glide or a Guzzi, is that really so much to ask? :/ Sorry, not mad at you, just really frustrated. Seems like they sell every part except what I want...
Granted it's not a Dyna, but my dad's Heritage Softail has a dual exhaust. Unfortunately he bought it that way and neither he nor I could tell you much about it. Clearly a non-Touring dual does exist though.
I'd recommend the Vance & Hines 2 1/2" Straightshots and Rinehart 3" Slip-Ons as the loudest options. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/vance-hines-2-12-straightshots-hs-slip-on-mufflers-for-harley-dyna-1991-2017 *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/rinehart-3-slip-on-mufflers-for-harley-dyna-1995-2017
Thanks for the reply. That's what I figured after viewing about a hundred videos of different pipes. I have another interesting question. I watched a vid yesterday on the Tube and this guy had the V&H straightshots with the "quiet" baffles and it sounded ridiculously load. His comment regarding the quiet baffles was..., "They actually increase the low frequency rumble sound and remove most of the undesirable high frequency "crack" that is evident with the standard baffles included with the slip-ons". Do you have any knowledge regarding the best baffle to get with these V&H straighshots? Thanks in advance...really enjoy your videos!!!
I got a pair of vanes and Hines slash cuts on my 02 883 it’s got a nice tone
Jesus why does the rinehart sound so much better in this video than all the other ones
V&H straightshot slip-ons installed and they sound great!! Thanks!
Whats the best 'keep from scraping" exhaust? Thanks!

I hugely appreciate that input.
I know this is an old video, but I like you still. Hope you are still doing good bro.
Put a set of COBRA slip on mufflers on my 2013 FLSTC man makes a huge difference in sound.
Fxdls! I hear two into one is better for power, but love the looks of short shots..
Pls make the same video for Indian Scout Bobber!
I know this video is super old but the increase in diameter on pipes actually decreases velocity and increases pressure. Bernoulli's principle.
I still like the looks and sound of a short 2 in to 1 .
Excellent, informative and relative presentation, Dude. Thanks!
I am looking for left and right exhaust for my 2007 night train . Need it cuz I want to make a bagger . Can you help me find the exhaust ? Thanks
I have a 2003 dyna wide glide, wondering if a full system exhaust is louder than slip ons? If so by how much? I am looking at getting straight shots with no baffles and wondering if I have to tune the bike for it?
I am a new fan of yours Drew...got rid of Te rest cause your Te best. 🇳🇿🇺🇸
Well Lemmy is the one in the video, but I answer most of the questions in the comments. -DrewZilla
Hey Lemmy.... Do you need to retune Fuel Injection on 2009 HD Deluxe when you use slip ons
Might as well. Something like that would more than likely still affect the amount of air getting pushed out.

I cant decide between the vans and hines big radius or mini grenades. With a brief explanation how would you compare the two soundwise?
The Big Radius has a slightly higher tone than the Mini Grenades. Otherwise, it's hard to describe the sound differences in a comment. I recommend seeing if you can find some videos/audio of each. -DrewZilla
07 street Bob, looking for best performance and horsepower. Any thoughts?

Hi guys, can you confirm that V&H have brought a new full system exhaust out for the new HD Breakout. I am getting conflicting advice? Thanks

Can you tell me which Slip-On I'd want if I didn't want my 2017 Softail too loud?
Rineharts are known to be loud, so instead you might consider the 3" slip-ons from Vance & Hines, Bassani, or Cobra. -DrewZilla

Tell me, Lemmy, does anyone do a true dual performance exhaust for the Dyna? I'm hung up on symmetry and can't find anything actually for sale.
I am not aware of Dyna exhausts with both equal-length headers and dual mufflers (one on each side of the bike). If you just want equal-length headers, then go for the following Bassani Road Rage options. -DrewZilla

It's a matter of the layout of the Dyna's frame that precludes a left-side exhaust. -DrewZilla
Was up lenny! Hey have you heard anybody dyno with the magnaflow legacy gen x pipes.?
I'm sure it's been dynoed, but I don't think Lemmy has heard one on the dyno himself. -DrewZilla
Im very interested in TBR pipes. Its possible to ship to Spain?.
I apologize, but we cannot ship exhausts outside the United States. -DrewZilla
Deberías probar directamente en la página de TBR. Hacen envíos internacionales. Creo también haberlos visto en eBay.
TBR tampoco envian a españa, En ebay si que están. Gracias
do the crack pipes fit on a 16 street bob?
No, the SuperTrapp Yaffe Crack Pipes are only for FX Softails. They do not fit Dynas. -DrewZilla
Lemmy, do you guys have a 'slip on' for the V&H Pro Pipe 2 into 1 exhaust ? Thanks.
Unfortunately, no, that's only sold as a full system exhaust. -DrewZilla
Recommendation for the loudest slip on for my 2007 Wide Glide? Thx
I'd recommend the Vance & Hines 2 1/2" Straightshots and Rinehart 3" Slip-Ons as the loudest options. -DrewZilla

Deciding between the stock and quiet baffles for tone is really subjective. The loudest will be with the baffles removed though. -DrewZilla
Gotcha...thanks!
Never thought I’d ever buy a crack pipe
Would have liked to have seen the full exhaust sound and less of lemmy talking a mile a minute
The day you quit, their sales will be affected! LoL
whats up with the nose ring dude ?
Um...it's a ring for the nose. -DrewZilla
lol
California has gone to shit
