Tell us more about what you're doing and why, rather than text on screen. Talk about your background in painting, in WH4K, etc. Even insert some humour! Watching a 30+ minute video with long pauses in speech, it can be easy for a viewer's mind to wander. Or, in my case, watching it early in the morning on too little sleep, I kept almost drifting back off to sleep! Anyway, these are just my thoughts. Feel free to ignore them. Keep up the fantastic work, and your channel will continue to grow!
@@MCDavers Thank you! I am really shy to speak, which is why I stutter a lot and have to re-record very often, but yeah there is a lot of silence, I will take it into consideration mate. Maybe the video is too long.
@@zanji_painting I don't think it's too long for the kind of content it is. If you trimmed it down too much it could seem like you're skipping important steps. In my opinion, if the content of your videos is grabbing and holding onto your target audience's attention, then length isn't an issue. The more practice you get at writing and reading aloud your scripts, the more comfortable you'll get with the process. You'll get there in no time. Write your scripts using the same language and way of speaking that you speak in normally, and you'll find the recording process well be easier. Have you considered making some UA-cam Shorts and TikToks, teasing videos like this one to funnel potential views to your page? You already have the footage, you'd just need a 30 sec script and to edit it all together. So sweat!
