Thanks for posting this video, I found it to be very informative.. I actually work in aviation in the UK and Thyssen Krupp make the jet bridges that connect to the aircraft for the passengers to board and disembark from the aircraft.
ThyssenKrupp made the wheels for the hp4 race but not for the s1000rr M. Although they look very much the same. The ThyssenKrupp ones are much better since they are less prone to cracking. The technique they use for the carbon weave at ThyssenKrupp is unique. BMW used a cheaper supplier for the s1000rr M. I have already had to replace my s1000rr carbon wheels under warrantee since they cracked on me.
@@Navieri nowhere they confirm the problem. They actually are more likely to deny it and say it never happens. So I think it is not fixed and it is luck of the draw. I don’t have issues with my current wheels. Hope they fixed it in newer bikes though, but we can’t be sure. Just keep an eye on it and claim warrantee if you have issues.

Thyssenkrupp is not just an elevator company ! ThyssenKrupp AG engages in the production of steel. It operates through the following segments: Components Technology, Elevator Technology, Industrial Solutions, Marine Systems, Materials Services, Steel Europe, and Corporate. The Components Technology segment offers components for the automotive, construction, and engineering sectors as well as for the wind turbines. The Elevator Technology segment constructs and modernizes elevators, escalators, moving walks, stair and platform lifts, and passenger boarding bridges; and installation. The Industrial Solutions segment is an international supplier in special and large-scale plant construction as well as naval shipbuilding. The Materials Services segment distributes materials and provides complex technical services for the production and manufacturing sectors. The Steel Europe segment involves in the flat carbon steel activities such as materials solutions and finished parts. The Corporate segment refers to the head office; and the performance of processes in accounting, information technology, real estate and human resources, as well as special units for the management of the real estate operations. The Marine System segment is active in naval shipbuilding.

Aloha Joey...I'm from Oahu my brudda....I now live on the east coast(Virginia & Miami, Florida). I moved from Hawaii right before Cov 19 took over and the islands were literally shut down. I thought about moving back, but I hear that the elevated rail, which is way over cost, is going to raise everyone's taxes through the roof bro. If I ever did go back, I would buy me a nice large penthouse at the Waikiki Landmark :). I thought about Hawaii Loa Ridge, but being on an island with salty air means that living in a steel, brick, cement and glass environment is a better choice. Also, if I were to move back I would buy a Suzuki Hayabusa for sure since the two bikes I have now(2020 Ducati V4 R & MV Agusta Brutale Serie Oro) are not able to be maintained in Hawaii by an master mechanics.

You are correct - fantastic on track and helps with turn in and maneuverability, which over the course of a race can shave off time. On the streets you can feel the difference if coming off cast wheels, but not enough to really take advantage of it on the daily; also a well placed pothole "can" cause cracks and weaken structural integrity of the wheel.
it’s a flex lol riding around a sport bike on the street makes no sense, much less putting carbon wheels on it. But people that usually have carbon wheels are hardcore street racers anyway .. usually trailer their bike to the spot and go straight really fast on a clean road.. I’ve never come across someone that just casually had carbon wheels besides a M1000RR I came across a few weeks back
@@650ib I thought I remembered seeing their names on elevators at my last job in Arizona at an Intel wafer fab. They were always having issues with them and I got stuck in one for about a half hour. That’s the only reason the name was stuck in my head.

Totally depends on the road surface and your riding style... I had a couple, and I can tell you; That is not a fun thing!! Especially when coming out of a corner with trees at the other side of the road.... But most new (big)bikes have a steering damper build in, from the factory.

@@Rich21-91 Yeah that one gave me the scare of a lifetime!! Going through a bend with plenty of speed and found out there was a dip in the middle of the bend... The shocks compressed hard and gave me a flick upwards, so the front got light.... My hands were of the handlebars and my feet of the pegs, I was literally a passenger at that point.... Luckily, I managed to stay on and grab the handlebars just in time before the asphalt turned to grass with 30cm(1foot) thick oak trees every 7 meters (21feet)... I got to the first parking bay I saw, got of the bike and my knees literally buckled... Yeah that ordeal really made me a bit calmer... ;)
What does Zack recommend to do as avoidance of getting chain cleaner or lube on the rear tire? Each time I do it I get a bit on the tire and wipe it off but I can't help but think it's soaking in to my tire and I'm gonna have a real bad time leaned over one day.
