Brentuning flashed the ECU on our 2021 Kawasaki ZX-10R after installing velocity stacks from Nicksperformancetuning. They reflashed the ECU on our 2021 Honda CBR 1000RR-R Fireblade SP with it's velocity stacks from Turn 13 Motorsports. Both bikes were put on the Dynojet 250i for a back to back comparison.

ZX10R won anyway. The peak horsepower right before the shift is useless. Look how the torque of the blue dominates the entire rev range. CBR only has the upper hand right before the shift
He dynoed the cbr in 5th and the zx10r base line was in 5th as well. Then when he did the zx10r after the flash both pulls were in 6th. 🤔

Calm down guys. Just because you guys ride the 💚 don't mean anyone is trying to pull the cover over anyone 👀. The Kawasaki is maxing out at 195 and CBR is hitting 205+. Clear 10hp difference. He did them in different gears but if you follow this channel you would know that's because IB changed the gearing on the CBR. Don't you remember when his CBR RR-R was hitting 186 in 4th gear leaving gear 5 and 6 useless and unusable? He changed that gearing so that he can drop the shift points and be able to use those other top gears and he's still hitting 186 in 5th. The ZX10 was getting knock points as you see him mention it in the video so that's why he said "I stopped doing baseline tests because of it" meaning he didn't want to push it harder, but after the flash he could go harder and actually use 6th gear for the test.
Look, at the end of the day both these bikes will be side by side and either one of them could win a top speed smackdown depending on jockey, jockey weight and jockey skill. That 10hp could easily be negated by the rider. So it's not like anyone is shitting on the Kawasaki. But facts are facts. The CBR is sightly a higher grade. Plus if they wanted to shit on it, why would they say the end show that the 💚 actually had all the better numbers upto the 11k mark and the CBR long pulled away after that? You forget they also have different redlines and engines are two different beasts that behave differently at different rev points. 🙏

5th gear pull vs a 6th gear pull could have been a cause of the HP difference in this comparison.
gear doesn't matter. the engine will still make the same power. The drum measures force and rotation from the wheel and corelates it to its engine RPM sensor to determine power. Force is made into torque and torque times RPM is power.
Noticed he is doing the pulls in 5th gear, many shops I’ve been to do it in 4th gear

Nice to see the ECU on the ZX10 finally unlocked. Team GREEN but it's looking like it very well may be Honda's year. Honda done said they weren't playing with the new CBR!

@@650ib ZX10 has much nicer grunt in the lower range making for a better overall street ride. And 195 rwp is insane anyways by any standard. People are getting overly obsessed with absolute HP numbers IMHO.

Envied King got 208hp and a consistent 207 on the 2021 zx10r krt. But he went the route of a custom ecu from the kit ecu. My question is couldn't that map be downloaded on the stock ecu after being de restricted???
I used BrenTuning for my Panigale 959 and Tuono V4 1100rr, and they are great to work with...
Different air boxes in the u.s to the u.k, is that a case of it having to adhere to whichever state has the strictest emissions regulations in order to sell them? I know every bike sold in the u.k today has to have the euro 5 emissions to be sold, a great deal of that is easily turnt off via ecu, but I didnt realise it was different hardware, wonder if a u.k air box setup and flash might be another way to go?
From talking to a very famous Honda dealers in the UK when they first got the bikes in and I was lying to myself about what I could and couldn't afford, they're saying that they've sold UK blades across the world because the European blades me the most power. American's are restricted by Cali rules and in Asia they have laws surrounding the power of the bikes and there's not as many 1000s generally so for whatever reasons they're not as powerful. They'd sold bikes to the US, malaysia for racing etc etc.

@@samuelcurran714 yeah that's what I thought, it's the same with the euro emissions laws here in the u.k, it has to meet the strictest requirements...which sucks a lot. I've a suzuki gsx-s 1000f as well as a fireblade, had the ecu flashed on the suzuki, and nan alive it's a completely different bike, top speed restrictions gone, rpm limiter gone, fuel at lower rpm from lean to fueled correctly...the list goes on and on 👍

Yes, there are alot of jealous, haters and so-called tuners that work out of their garage, basement or mommy's house. They slander Brentuning in a failed attempt to improve sales. They have their customers and followers make bogus and false claims about Brentuning. Ignore that. I've been working with Brentuning since 2011 and never had an issue with the 15+ bikes they've tuned.

The zx10r will gap that cbr. It will be at 150mph long before the cbr. Way more low and mid range.
As fast as these exotic and supercars are, bikes should be able to do 200 right off the dealership floor, not 186. Also the Kawasaki H2r should be street legal 🤕

The kawi with just 5lb of torque more than honda could be seconds quicker and hard to catch every second counts, but throw a full exhaust and a set of velocity stacks and yall be eating kawasaki salads for some time
