    15:05 WHAT IS THE FUNCTION OF THE CYLINDER BETWEEN THE BEARINGS. IT DOES NOT FIT IN THE INNER CIRCLE OF THE BEARINGS, I SEE NO FUNCTION FOR IT. ANYONE?

    I endorse BST for my racing and road use.
    I’m very happy I have gone with a company I can work with, I put 190NM of torque through
    the rear 240mm, BST is the best as far as I’m concerned, the quality and their
    professionalism is great.

    Quick question guys. I have a 2016 bmw s1000rr premium package (with the forged hp4 wheels). After seeing this I got some used bst carbon fiber wheels already outfitted with hybrid ceramic bearings. I got the rims and hubs. My question is can I use my oem sprocket and carrier from my oem forged hp wheels? Or so I have to order an aftermarket carrier? Thanks very much. Love your videos

    Great video and is making me contemplate these wheels. One question though since metal expands with heat wouldn’t that also cause the diameter around the bearing to decrease and become tighter?

    How long in the freezer ?

  • @vr___46
    @vr___46 6 років тому

    Wow amazing skills and knowledge! You made the change so smooth, the best part was how easy the bearing slide in the seats!! I wish every mechanic would be so careful working on our bikes. Hat down, my respect.
    Ps, if you would put the conical tool at the freezer too, wouldn't be inserted easier inside the old bearing?

    Are these rotors heavier than stock? I guessing they are since they are 5mm thicker and the small difference between the total wheels. Should have weighed the rotors by themselves vs the stock ones. Still cool video as usual.

    I keep a small amount of 180proof booze in a container, every time I do bearings I just grab some dry ice from a co2 tank, drop it in and turn it to poor mans liquid nitrogen. Drop my bearings in, 45 seconds later they drop into even rusted hubs.

      I see your point. The purpose of the New Bike Build Series is to produce educational, fun filled videos showing how to install parts and service the bikes. The people that support it have an opportunity to receive the bike at the end. I think it's going well.
