Joking aside about the builders, they do deserve some kind of medal for keeping working to schedule through first an extremely wet period and now this Siberian blast on undoubtedly the windiest spot in Bath. I've had several chats with them over the months and they seem genuinely chuffed with working on such an interesting project and that everyone appreciates what they're doing.
it's so great that the UK and Europe has specific cycling circuits unlike the US. it's really unfortunate that we live so far behind. on another note the odd down circuit could be a bit more technical or at least have the option. adding in a couple of chicane would greatly improve the racing for more experienced riders. it would be very simple to add in 2 or 3 chicanes, and just put cones across the entrance and exit when not in use.
Thanks Tim! So that's the first 'Record Lap' set then, time to beat 4:28 :-) Thanks to Sport England, British Cycling, B&NES Council and the contractors Dave Lucey. It's going to be a fantastic facility.

Brilliant! Great work. Can the builders now arrange some sunshine?
Fantastic. Can't wait to to give it a go1
Brilliant can't wait to get racing. It looks like a good design and I am sure it will be well used. Thanks for all the hard work to get it complete.
Looks fantastic, can't wait!
