I have the same scanner but how do you set it up to a cash register that already have the plu? I have a SAM4'S sps-530 and does this scanner a plug and play? I can seem to get it to scan anything.

You should be able to plug the scanner into the front USB port on the SAM4 SPS-530. Check out page 14 and 60 of the manual here. posguys.com/download/sps500_programming.pdf
