Currachs take to the Irish Sea for Skerries challenge

Ten currachs have taken part in a race around the Skerries Islands in what is becoming an annual event off the coast of Dublin.
The inaugural Three Island Challenge took place in 2018 and featured just four boats.
The race was organised by the team behind Curach na Sceirí, a boat built in 2018 in the north county Dublin town.
Most of the teams this time around were from the east coast, but teams from Donegal and Galway also took part, with the Donegal team emerging victorious.
