We also have lactose in Norway. I am a nurse and work in a nursing home in Norway. Normal dose in Norway is 10 x 2 or 15 x 2 depending on how obstipert the patient is. You have another brand / other manufacturer, possibly they have a more concentrated variant. A common "timber regime" may be to give Lactulose daily, but give laxoberal drops or dulcolax tablets (those you currently use) in the evening before going to the toilet. Have you tried movicol?

So jealous of your vog mask. I broke down and bought one and then saw an ingredient on their packages that weren't on their Amazon page to sell. Coconut. Apparently they use the shell of the coconut in one of the vents to help scrub the water. I was so sad bc I hate the crappy doctor ones.

Amy, I know all too well how it feels to not go #2 for days on end. Idk if you have it where you are or if you can take it, but I take something called miralax. It does wonders when I can't go poo. Also idk if you can eat them or like them, but sauteed onions or onion rings really does the trick! Within hours of eating it, I'm going 💩 lol.. Staying active and keeping your bowels hydrated is very important. The poo can't flow properly thru the colon if it's dry. I hope these tips help and you feel better soon. Much love and respect ❤
I live on Nerds...lol they are the candy that I munch on during meds that have a bad aftertaste when going into my j-tube. I would love a main channel post about what foods you eat that drain and what you would chew & spit. I need food that drains suggestions.
Try peppermint oil for the bloating.

I know many people in the chronic illness community are all about the vibedration backpacks but there are so many others that are much cheaper
they do have Yankee Candle calendars

Rach L it works for constipation and she could put it through the j portion of her tube. That’s what I do with my laxatives and it works fine.

Have you tried an anti gas, over the counter, medication for you're bloating?!
can you take peppermint oil in hot water...even just sips??? Also can you lie on the bed on your front? Dunno how easy that is for you wuth all your attachments. Let the mattress 'massage' you bloating as you breath against it. Hoping you feel relief x
You could also ask your gp about colpermin. do you take mebeverine anyway???

@Amy: try massaging your ileocaecal valve (there are UA-cam videos on it). Also look into Mag07 or Oxypowder to help with the C. One of those should help you to go (and they’re super gentle). Also look into simethicone or alka seltzer gold to help with the trapped gas (that distension is most likely being cause by SIBO or LIBO), but the things I mentioned may help with the bloat. Some people also have had help with iberogast or a carminative tea.
