mackintosh has perfect texture , sweet and sour 🍎.. You two are the best Hosts and tour guides for our Beautiful State of Wisconsin. Thank you for taking us on these adventurous scenic Road trips 🪴🌲🌳🍀🍁🚗🛤
Oh yes, Crandon. That's where I saw Phycho. So many changes since the 60's - for me and our extended families. ThanX for he revival of great memories. You guys really look great.
Wooowwww! I just found your channel and then saw this video! My whole family on my Dad’s side are from there! I spent my childhood driving “up north” every summer and camping at lake Metonga. Love Crandon!
Thanks for having me! I thought it was a pleasure meeting you as well, and I appreciate you allowing me to film inside the depot. I look forward to seeing how the new space for Fire and Dice turns out.
thanks for sharing this video with me about This small “up north” town is a Wisconsin favorite! Here’s why. this was a rerally good video and thanks again for sharing it . i gave you a thumbs up and shared you out on my commuinty tab amnd God Bless.
Hey! You’re quite welcome. 🥰 It was great to go back and remember all the fun my friends and I had when carousing the streets of Crandon back in the day.
I was at Burney Falls down by the boat launch and as I was leaving the road went up a hill - at the crest a dear ran across the road and had a baby on the passenger side of my rig. I stopped because the newborn was partially on the blacktop road. We had to set quiet for hours waiting for this little baby to get up and go off. Someone in the traffic walked back to the ranger station and they came, but since we all said leave them, they just watched with us. They finally walked off. Mother clearly proud and grateful.
@@SightseeingSally My wife and three girls were fascinated. I was a little annoyed because I had to move like a mouse down the hill to the pit toilet. As they say -"You only rent it" (allegedly)
Nice town! We'd visit. My hubby was also surprised by the shout out from you for the tip jar donation. We played it back so he and Belle (who was snoozing) could hear it again. Thanks!
Nice tour of a small Midwest town. Sounds like Sally has some naughty secrets buried in Crandon! 😱I think when you come to a repurposed bank building you should see if the old vault is still there
Sally your voice is so pleasant and then yes we have meandering marty which is a nice voice also 😮what you think 💬🤔 I was going to say something else lol 😂😂 thanks for sharing this with us awesome content 👍
“That’s one thing about Crandon is that you won’t find a shortage of places for you to imbibe in adult beverages…” My travels have led me to believe that’s Wisconsin in general. Ooooh and I especially liked Marty in front of the tank recreating that historic Tiananmen Square photo. I appreciate your videos of towns that i probably won’t ever get to. Thanks
Eats & Treats is the best place in town for burgers, fries, onion rings, cheese curds, and ice cream! My wife and I stop there every time we go up to Crandon. They have huge portions and cheap prices! Very popular restaurant during the summer months with tourists and locals! Crandon is a decent little town but sadly some crime and drug issues in the area worsened. But every town has its problems. But definitely stop at Eats & Treats anytime you can! Great videos! I run a Wisconsin based fishing and outdoor travel vlog page here if you want to check it out! Been a Sightseeing Sally fan a few years myself now! 👍🏼
Crandin! That's a flash from the past! My mom grew up in Goodman on rt 8, and my dad downstream of the proposed Crandin mine site, near Shawano. I still have relatives in Shawano, so I was fairly vocal against that mine.
Great video! You should come to Estes Park Colorado. There are hundreds of Elk roaming in and around the town. But be careful around them during the rutting season in the fall. The males get aggressive.
Crandon is still there! I rolled through there, past the depot in 1984, when unbeknownst to most, one could purchase a ticket to ride the freight train from Gladstone, MI. to Neenah, Wisconsin. Looks good, even if a bit different. Hope I won't be overcome by changes over the 40 years since I've frequented Wisconsin. I want it to be the same, but I know it can't..
What is interesting to me, being a Michigan troll, is how clear the water is in northern Wisconsin but most of the Great Lakes that I have encountered - most of them- are full of brown sediment. Not sure what that means but it’s interesting.
Grrreat
First!!
I love how you two show so much of my native state I have no idea exists!

Hey! You’re quite welcome. 🥰 It was great to go back and remember all the fun my friends and I had when carousing the streets of Crandon back in the day.
Every town up hear Quote had a Speakeasy, had escape tunnels, and were a stopping place of some famous mobster, a lot of tall tails!

Probably won’t ever see this, but I saw the Thumbnail and immediately said, “Hey! That’s my town!” 😂😂 I’ve lived here my entire life!
That’s too funny 😂
my brother has a whole herd of deer he feeds daily and he calls them and has a name for each one of them.
We have a great dive bar in Kalamazoo called Duck in Waddle out.
Hey Marty - I just subscribed to your channel & notifications, looking forward to more videos on there also (but no pressure).
Thx for the tour.
You’re welcome! What did you think of Crandon?
Thank you 😊
There was a nice campground you missed. Holly Wood Hill. Just to the north of Crandon Track.

Hello Sally and Marty from Longview Texas
Hello Kenny from Wisconsin!
Love small town living. Our town is about 165 people.
Your town sounds like my kind of town 😉
good one, thank you!
Been many years since a visit to Crandon I’ll have to before the snow flies 😊☮️🩵U2
Now is a good time if you can get there. The leaves are popping with fall colors!!! 🍁
*Beautiful town!!*
Thanks! It’s one of my absolute favorite up north towns in Wisconsin. 🥰

I haven't been to Wisconsin since 2009. I might take the Mrs up there on our trip to Chicago.
your bracelet and necklace are Sweet!
That is way up north for sure.
THANKS SALLY AND MARTY 😅😅
When doing a video, can you show on the map where you are so people know where Crandon is in Wisconsin . . . . This would be nice to know. Thank You.
Straight North of Shawano, almost to the Michigan border..
Sally were you dancing on the bar at Ducks?
What happened north of 64 stayed north of 64. My lips are sealed 🤐😜
Nice!
Thank you! Cheers!
Right on time. 10:00pm.🙂

10/11/24: "Damn it Crandon, this is DOG FOOD!"
Did you know a well known person used to visit Couderay in the 20's and 30's
You say up north maybe Boulder Junction and other Up North Places.
Saturday night let's go to Ducks
I guess we can't. Apparently they are no longer open.
Crandon doesn't care about matt Kenseth anymore lol
Well its the closest you have been yet. Crandon made it money Logging , then the Railroad, and now the summer People.
Marty >>>>> try walking without putting your hands in your pockets constantly !!
Hey bextar>>>>>try saying nothing if you have nothing nice to say!!!
