    Another excellent video and the picture of the C-46 had me baffled. The landing gear is the style of a DC-3, which the C-46 didn't have. After some searching I find the prototype had this style and originally twin rudders. Your C-46 is a very unique photo.

    Sure looks like a copy of the Curtiss Commando, C-46/R5D. But more sesats in the cockpit, and a tailgun.
    OBTW, IJA aircraft were designated by the katakana letter Ki, [one cypher] that's pronounced KEE. It's short for the word for airframe.

      C-46 maybe? Any aircraft for that role will turn out looking like something else.

      Sorry, the USN BuAero designator for the Curtiss Commando was R5C.
