I hired a lawyer to pay estate and capital gains taxes for a proprerty I was selling,several follow up attempts regarding its payment prove futile, until I checked with the BIR and no payment was maid, this is for a period of 7 months,further claims for the lawyer to return the money also prove futile...

Good morning. Yes po. Wala pong prescriptive period ang disbarment cases. Pwede po kayo sumulat sa Office of the Bar Confidant, Supreme Court of the Philippines, Padre Faura, Ermita, Manila. Idetalye nyo sa letter yung reklamo nyo dun sa lawyer.

That's a violation of the Code of Ethics. Lawyers must maintain a good and dignified image to preserve the integrity and the public's respect towards the legal profession.
Tanong po. Pag nadisbar po ba ang lawyer pagbabawalan na sya automatic na mag represents ng client sa korte? Alam po ba ng korte na ang isang abugado at natanggalan na pala ng license? Papano yung existing client nya, tatapusin parin ba nya muna yun o automatic ang disbarment?

How can I file a disbarment against a lawyer whose behavior is unethical and unacceptable. The said lawyer has a record who was admitted at mental hospital in Mandaluyong City
He insists on a revalidation against 811 Pabahay recipients which had been legally awarded to us as recipients.. Revalidation is against the law. Against the MOA agreement between NHA and LGU under Ex-Mayor Pel of Tanauan Leyte.
The said lawyer is one sided and keeps on posting on how Facebook which seems unprofessional
