Makes ya wonder if Silent Mike is even co-owner of Kingspeed anymore...how can he possibly have time to step away from his customers? Something fishy here...
@@HoffmanOutdoors yeah, I was coming to the comments to see. I didnt know micheal was co owner of kingspeed. But I was wondering if he quit and is like working for Greg now. Or because of covid kingspeed is super slow right now and micheal has no work to do there.
The piece on the compressor is called a pressure relief valve or "pop off valve". And in my opinion, I'd get rid of the backup alarm before the next video.
You can convert the sleeper from a bunk to a bench seat with seat belts . It would make it more practical for you since your trailer has a sleeper birth .
Love the truck.. looks like a different truck.. I really like how u get down to the small things to pull everything together.. I’ve watched ur videos for years now and u have made me be very good at doing the small things to each project
That 6NZ can be turned up to 600-650HP & 1900-2000 lb-ft or rebuilt/converted to a C16 to as much as 750-800HP & 2200-2400 lb-ft. That’s gut wrenching power and torque still considered stock HP & Torque just for a different application that can still be useful in your truck, just make sure your Eaton 18 speed is rated for that input.
Paint the hubs front and rear black and spiked black lug covers all the way around. No center covers front or rear, old school look with the coffin bunk and flat top. Diggin the truck it’s really coming together!
Greg please seriously concider this. Every year in July, usually the second weekend, there's a truckers jamboree up here in Walcott Iowa at the I80 truck stop, (aka the world's largest truck stop). PLEASE bring it up to the 2021 truckers jamboree. Id love to see this truck in person when it's done and id love to meet you
Very nice, like how its turning out.By the way I'm pretty sure that the peterbilt 389 doors will fit your 379 you should get them since you have the newer sleeper and since you want to modernize the interior they would be a lot nicer, look them up they will be a nice touch for the truck.Keep up the good content.
Awesome you took my suggestion on the sleeper lights!👍 Those drop panels really set this thing off and makes this Pete look super clean. Great work dood! 😎
Those side skirts need lights in the bottom flanges........the horseshoe brace behind the oil pan needs lights in it also......that Pete is taking shape now....good job boys....
Top hat lugnut covers would look awesome on this truck with no center covers. Love the truck so far doing a great job Greg looking forward to more of the rig. 🤘🤘
Just a tip, when you were hole sawing the foam, run the drill backwards, the sharp teeth won't catch and it will still cut it, works well if you are cutting something that already has a hole and u want to make it bigger. Love the content
Hi love the truck! I was wondering if you have lowered the front at all? Also what rear suspension do you have and tire size? I'm currently building a 1994 379 day cab and really like the way your truck looks.
Absolutely in love with the Pete after the drop panels! Now you need some of the full rear fenders from WTI. As far as the lug but caps go, I also think the cylindrical caps would look good too! Great work fellas, keep it up!
Sleeper berth is 2015 or newer. The older berths just had a small door what is like on your passenger side. The newer berths with the full doors are so much nicer being an over the road driver, parking on summer nights and being able to pop thatdooropen for fresh air. Also in case of a fire and being able to get out!!!
@@conorcooley9275 Really man they look small. Still why spend money on those wheels? What do you think about it Alcoa was really aren't that expensive.plus you don't have some y'all who taking material out of your front wheels that are supposed to be there.lol
You need to see if you can fill in the gap between the cab and the stacks under the sleeper. I would go with some flat top lug nut covers to go with the flat top stacks
I’m with everyone else. Please do a Greg A Deleon the backup alarm. As soon as you said you was changing up the front lug nut covers I was really hoping you had spikes and you did, 2 thumbs up
on the air compressor fitting just take it out and pipedope it and bam air leak fixed. its also struggling to build air because of the random air leaks here and there. so id get those taken care of before slapping a new compressor.
Love the spiked lugnut cover look, if this truck was like another foot or 2 longer and a bigger bunk it’d be killer in my eyes but so far I love what you’re doing so far, can’t wait to see what you’ll do next
The truck is looking really good like the spikes but i do have a suggestion since your thinking of updating the light to leds then i would also change the brake lights to leds also much brighter and would overall looks better then the bulb style in my opinion
would look verry nice if you build some lights above the airtanks so they light up at night. also clean the front wheel hubs and paint them...in the netherlands we als do that it looks sick
The oil hub caps do not come polished you have to do that your self. Test and check your unloader valve in your compressor might fix your problem. Good luck truck is looking awesome
God damn those stacks are huge 😂 I think I would chop at least 20” off. Definitely need to paint the fuel tanks black. With the polished straps they would look killer. It needs 4” cylinder lug nut covers.
Get a piece of diamond plate most likely chrome or black and put it all the way down on top of the frame rales or in between ish and if you have the means or capability get a larger rim size
Did Micheal go to Greg’s shop to fix his transmission and just never leave? Is he allowed to leave? Is Greg holding him hostage?
I think michael is doing all the fabrication and greg does the bolt on parts

WASH THE PETE!!! The hand prints, and new clean shiny parts being put on a dirty truck is driving me nuts!!
You can convert the sleeper from a bunk to a bench seat with seat belts . It would make it more practical for you since your trailer has a sleeper birth .
A I'm gonna put a 60 inch tv in my sleeper LMAO 🤣
A projector screen yea come on
Greg just loves playing with his Peter
(Cough) bilt
Indeed
The Pete would look good with fiberglass teardrop fenders😎
Get you some 24.5 wheels and sheet metal in your frame with some chicken light 👌🏽👌🏽 be one clean unit
That Pete’s going to look good rolling down the road with the race trailer 👀
Besides the race trailer is too small for it. Lol
Truck looks great!!! I think the polished oil bath caps are kool on the front
Love the truck.. looks like a different truck.. I really like how u get down to the small things to pull everything together.. I’ve watched ur videos for years now and u have made me be very good at doing the small things to each project
put a check valve after the air compressor to the system, so it can't leak down after charging.
Patiently waiting for Greg to wash this behemoth 😂😂😂

I dig the spikes not sure about the center covers though.

Absolutely love the spikes. I can’t even believe your contemplating it. You do spikes on everything hahaha
This build is coming along nicely, spikes are good. Truck looks awesome
Spikes going to look better once that rim is polished up.

That is a Super Nice Build! You will be envied when complete.
Top hat lugnut covers would look awesome on this truck with no center covers. Love the truck so far doing a great job Greg looking forward to more of the rig. 🤘🤘

Had spikes 10 years ago. Like the 3" tall cylinder covers now. No center cap with chrome oil bath caps for the wheels
I like the wheels just like they are with the spikes, drop panels are making the truck. Thanks again.
Absolutely in love with the Pete after the drop panels! Now you need some of the full rear fenders from WTI. As far as the lug but caps go, I also think the cylindrical caps would look good too! Great work fellas, keep it up!
Yeah......the drop panels look dope! Need some more lights under cab and sleeper
That truck would look so good with plates to fill in the open frame and a low profile spot for the air lines and trailer hookup
What size of holesaw did you use to cut out the holes in the sleeper? I want to add more lights on my sleeper of my pete as well.
Pretty sure they're 4 "
Looking good every time we see it. Can't wait to see what you do with the interior...

Front wheels need to be bigger. Don't waste your money on the 22.5's get a pair some 24.5 looking good 👍👍😁
I believe the fronts are already 11r24.5’s. The backs are lo pro 22.5’s
@@conorcooley9275 Really man they look small. Still why spend money on those wheels? What do you think about it Alcoa was really aren't that expensive.plus you don't have some y'all who taking material out of your front wheels that are supposed to be there.lol
I have a 2017 Dually that I am mimicking your truck and would like to know what OBD connected cod reader that you recommend?
You need to see if you can fill in the gap between the cab and the stacks under the sleeper. I would go with some flat top lug nut covers to go with the flat top stacks

Spikes and big holes are a must they look so good
That truck is mint! I love the spikes they look mean.
Anybody else at 0:20 say damn that combo is gonna look killer rolling down the road!
on the air compressor fitting just take it out and pipedope it and bam air leak fixed. its also struggling to build air because of the random air leaks here and there. so id get those taken care of before slapping a new compressor.
Entire rig looks amazing
The spikes look good, I usually like the top hat style but your Pete pulls the spikes off very well
Hey Greg, you gonna polish the fuel tanks and front grill?
Awesome awesome video Greg A, love the new upgrades to the Pete! Now time for black double hump rear fenders lol.
Same bro same
Love the spiked lugnut cover look, if this truck was like another foot or 2 longer and a bigger bunk it’d be killer in my eyes but so far I love what you’re doing so far, can’t wait to see what you’ll do next
The Pete coming together nicely mate,I like the spikes on the front 👍🏼.drop panels looks mint👌🏽
Lug nut covers are called top hats that stick out and flat. They are available in chrome or black
To make it look right, it needs full fiberglass rear fenders. Painted black, of course. The frame would look stretched, too.
Missing 1st gen videos but still liking the Pete project getting done👌👌
YESSS!! THE SPIKE LUGS LOOK KILLER ON THERE!!!
The truck is looking really good like the spikes but i do have a suggestion since your thinking of updating the light to leds then i would also change the brake lights to leds also much brighter and would overall looks better then the bulb style in my opinion
Love the spikes and covers!
I like the old school look on the peterbilt 😍
I no your gonna take off that back up alarm
Sure hope so
I no I got it, it's the WW wrench works work truck he needs it for his insurance lol 😂
*know
Love the the spikes and the drop panels
I like the way it the wheels came out once you guys polish them it will come out killer I say keep the spikes and hub covers on
Greg I love this truck! It looks killer and sounds the same! I will be crossing my fingers for paint matched full rear drop fenders
Oh yeah wheels look so much better with the smaller caps and spikes
Yes! The billet oil caps
Looks very clean! Spikes aren't terrible...
would look verry nice if you build some lights above the airtanks so they light up at night.
also clean the front wheel hubs and paint them...in the netherlands we als do that it looks sick
21:50 hey I havn't seen that black beast with stacks in action yet! is there any vids in action of that stacked truck?
I would put sound deadening material in the hole sleeper and cab. The Amazon stuff is great
I like what the Pete has become so far but I like bigger sleeper on trucks and plus you have room to move around in it too
Bet some billet oil fill caps for the front hubs will set it off!
Now you that truck was pulling a step deck trailer with three Cummins on that damn you’d have a dream rig
wide tire front would look cool, not sure the name but dump trucks, heavy haul and concrete trucks typically run them
The oil hub caps do not come polished you have to do that your self. Test and check your unloader valve in your compressor might fix your problem. Good luck truck is looking awesome
No you can buy chrome oil bath caps.
Did you consider the amount of drop the cab will do when bags deflate
Are you going to fill the wholes in back of cab and frame?
God damn those stacks are huge 😂 I think I would chop at least 20” off. Definitely need to paint the fuel tanks black. With the polished straps they would look killer. It needs 4” cylinder lug nut covers.
I swear it’s like an episode of The Office with Greg yelling ‘Michael!’ 😂
Get a piece of diamond plate most likely chrome or black and put it all the way down on top of the frame rales or in between ish and if you have the means or capability get a larger rim size
Spikes awsome front oil caps in chrome would be slick
Hate the spikes, love the billet oil bathers and a classy lug cover.
The old u should do bad ass 4link kit I am really excited for that build should start on that truck soon bro love Pete build keep them coming bro
You should get train horns, 18 speed, and window chops lined up with your visor.
Just needs some drop fenders to match those panels!
Put some single diode led lights in the drop panels. Make it a chicken truck! Light it up!
Top hat covers look good, for the lugs and the bolts on the frame
It is on the way to you as we speak... truck is looking killer
Every Largecar needs a hood swan 😎😎😎
The spikes look better than what was on it but I think the top hat nut covers would look the best
Absolutely love the whole truck 🤩
Billet hub oil covers
Love the dirty Pete vids Greg. Keep em comin.
Love the spikes! Keep em!
HELL YES on the spikes!!!!!
I would put a light on each side of the bumper on the bottom.
Paint the insides of the centers of the fronts. They’ll start to rust through in the good Midwest
Which year and u install auto transmission ur self plz explain
always love some Greg A deletes:)
make sure you check the butter bearings on the muffler system right
4 liter jug mixed with dish soap and water pop a hole in cap and soak all airline's to find all small air leaks
Legit building the Big Rig from the movie “Joy Ride” 👍🏽
Damn those spikes are sick!!
Truck is lookin good brah.
Love the spikes!
