If you allow me an advice ... the connections of the fuel hoses at the bottom of the Tanks are looking too down and I had that same problem because on two occasions I hit it on the road and lost all the Fuel plus the problem that caused...For the rest I really enjoy the passion you have for this project ...
Those step plates look awesome and those breathers cleaned up well. I was honestly kinda sad when you said you were taking a break from this. Love this rig, and everything you guys have done so far!
Easy/clean way to power the lights in the back of your cab would be to splice out of your trailer light plug. I do that on trucks when I put lights in the back of the sleeper and it works great and looks clean once properly looked and such
After seeing the ground clearance of that front bumper when you were backing up. You should definitely add a bumper lift kit. Make the bumper lift up or slide out then up, whenever you need the extra clearance to drive over something.
You can do an online search for a wiring diagram for the year and model of your Pete. I found one for mine. Printed it out and had it blown up poster size.
Trouble with flipping the mirror brackets like you did, is the rod that runs the wires is pointing up now, and water will run down the wire and into the door
Greg. Who makes the billet step plates? Or maybe somebody else can help me out there. Are the 12 gauge ones that came with the steps? The pete is literally my dream build on a truck.
I dont get to watch every video unfortunately, last one I saw was installing the stacks. What video should I watch to get caught up on what the plans are for this Pete. I'm very curious.
Greg, I have a 2007 Dodge 3500 Dully that has a 6.7 Cummins in it. I know it has had some half a** deleting and I want to finish it correctly and program it please help with resources, thanks. Frank...
Do you use Facebook? There’s often groups you can join that are specifically about cummins engines, maybe specific trucks, etc. I’d recommend joining one and making a post with all the information you have and what you need. There’s plenty of people are that happy to spread their knowledge.
My cousin has an H&S on his. The factory tunes aren't bad. They use EFI live software, so you can use anybody's tunes or build your own with their software. If you have the 68rfe, you can also tune your transmission.
Good video I'm liking joe the Pete is turning out Also would you consider doing a hoodie and t shirt with the Pete incorporated into the logo with Wrench Works?
Nice that you flipped the mirror brackets like I suggested, but you still need to think about doing something about the door handles. You have two different styles due to different age of cab & sleeper. Your cab door handles are old style and are rusty where ones fingers go. looks like crap on a beautiful truck.3 rivets to replace with new. I's still try to find a old sleeper door to replace the newer door with Peterbilt's newer handle I will fit.Either that or find 2 cab doors that are the new style that would really give your truck a newer look. Your probably going to redo the interior at some point and time anyway. Spend 1000's of dollars a little more will be worth it. Ya got a lot truck to start with.
DID THE OTHER BUNK THAT WAS ON THE TRUCK HAVE THE LIGHT SYSTEM ON IT . IF NOT YOU WILL HAVE TO ADD A SWITCH AND WIRES TO THE DASH LOOK AND SEE IF IT WAS WIRED FOR THEM IT WILL SAY CARGO LIGHTS CHECK YOUR NEW WIRES AND SEE IF YOU EXTRA WIRES FOR THEM .ALSO YOU CAN PUT A PAINTED BLANK BEHIND THE AIR BREATHERS . YOU CAN ALSO PUT 3/4 "ROUND LITES IN THEBACK OF THEM ALSO I HAVE SEEN THEM WITH IN THEM ALSO .. JUST SAYING MAYBE YOU WILL LOOK INTO IT ........
You need paint matched full rear fenders
☝️
X2 I agree
for SUREE

Loving the build so far can’t wait to see it all done

I'd rather see Peterbilt stuff...

Those step pads look sickkkkk man when the black is polished up it's going to look so nice with the race trailer
Idk personally I feel like the stacks are too high but don’t know if your gonna trim them
Yea they just stick up way to far for my liking.
Agreed. Cut 12 inches off
Max hight is 13 6 so he has to cut them down to that.
@@wantu2much I thought he said they are 13’6” currently
Just use an telescoping mirror arm for the anti sail bars on the cowl panels.
8:43, you scratched the visor, noooooooooooooooooo!!!! lol
I was looking for this comment, I thought it was on my phone screen
It might get scratches anyways

What size hoodie was that you were wearing?
Are you going to install an apu (auxiliary power unit) if so what brand
All homework stops when Greg A makes a post🤝😎
Same here to be honest I learn way more watching greg a then doing useless homework that your never going to actually use
Love how this truck turned out. Room for improvement but still super clean nonetheless.
Can you get any sweatshirts in 2xl tall?
Whats the length of one of these trucks? I'm from the UK and trying to get a rough idea of the size on one compared to our trucks
Just wondering, you gonna put a air ride seat on the passenger side?
What does turning the brackets over do
Drops the mirror's a couple inches. The rain guards on the top of the window makes it harder to see. So dropping the mirror helps
What’s the wiring harness number. I have the same style sleeper on my 96 peterbilt
Can I get a part number for the step pieces you put on the boxes? I have the same boxes and tired of almost breaking my neck
When are you going to convert the z-y shifter into a shift tower for a true manual instead of that ultrashift setup you got.
Is that a West Virginia inspection on the Peterbilt
Have you gotten the head back for the first gen?
What steps are those?
Trouble with flipping the mirror brackets like you did, is the rod that runs the wires is pointing up now, and water will run down the wire and into the door
What’s the part number for that harness? Coincidence, as I did the same swap as you
Ups coming in hot with the jake break on. Lol
That’s exactly what it looked like 😂
Silent mikes reflection in the air filters😂😂😂
Wait did I miss a part of the build? Is it not manual??
This truck is clean asf!🔥 hope i can get my W900a to that much detail!
Needs new chrome pedals and what about spot mirrors?
Why swap the mirror brackets?
Makes me wanna be a trucker and build a Pete
It aint worth it. You gotta love truckin to stay in it
@@mdd_3232 bout like my line of work now.

@@connorbramlett3711 yeah we got enough of those too.....
The Pete is looking good so far, just need to put some LED headlights in the front. Ally’s truck is also looking and sounding good also.
Greg. Who makes the billet step plates?

The pete is literally my dream build on a truck.
You gonna stance that thing out with heavy hauler wheels?
1st gen 4x4 time?
“Hold her there jimmy don’t get fried”😂😂😂
When’s the Pete gonna get more gauges on the dash?
hook the pete up to the race trailer
Can we get an update on that red Cummins you posted 3 months ago?
I dont get to watch every video unfortunately, last one I saw was installing the stacks. What video should I watch to get caught up on what the plans are for this Pete. I'm very curious.
Can’t wait for more second gen videos just bought a 02 regular cab 24v
The Pete content is very addictive!
Is this gonna be a show truck or a work truck or both???
Black epoxy floor as well!!
Those step boxes need some black wrench workz decals on them.
Love the truck sir. Is that truck an automatic? And do you plan putting a shift in it if it is auto?

Awesome awesome video Greg A, Pete is coming along awesome, can’t wait to see you start pulling things to the events with it lol.
Make me miss my rigs like crazy 😭 even tho they made me crazy sometimes. But I mean who needs financial stability
Lmao dam trucks
Lets be honest we would purchase trucks parts in a heartbeat but buying a shirt or something for the house would get turn down faster😂
@@NathanCAY1010 lmao Yupp. Didn’t start seeing new clothes in my closet till I sold the trucks 🤷🏽♂️

Whens the race videos or something happening
I like that silent Mike is in your videos now but what happed to King Speed. That’s where he was at correct.
He said a while ago he left to commit to full time UA-cam, it happened along with early covid shut down so that’s probably why as well
Keenan silent mike?
9:28ish.....now that was a "Jake"....
So does the manufacturer remove your hoodie strings for you. Or does Ali take care of them? The washer eats mine
That truck is so bad ass! I love it. Love the way it sounds too.
Wow! That Pete looks great keep on trucking good job
Loving the Pete project 👍 when are the train horns coming!?!?
The mirrors with lights looks better
Gotta paint or powder up the breather straps black Greg
They took the straps off and did a hidden mount.
Have you considered Suicide your doors on the semi? Truck is sharp.
