There were a few more similar games before Diablo such as Dungeon Explorer 1-2 and Dark Seal 1-2. Arguably Ys 1-4 as well. I don't think Icewind Dale really fits since it's a full on WRPG and characters attack on their own after giving them an order

Why the hell is Smite at 7:20? Its not a hack n slash and it didn't even come out for another 7 years. This feels like a really poorly put together list of games. I wouldn't consider Icewind Dale a "hack n slash" game. Its like you took the term way too literal and included every game that has something in it that can slash. Its like calling Last of Us a "Racing Simulation" because there are cars included in the scenery.

Those seemed more like rts and few straight up strategy. Hack n slash aren't click to move, god of war, ninja guiden, assassin's Creed etc
