    I so enjoy the drive along, the buildings are beautiful, and living conditions are interesting. We call them trailer parks only most are very large (the vehicles) the parks can be quite large as well.

    Interesting to learn that after three months doing sewerage work, the smell was not as noticeable anymore.
    Beautiful environment there, blue skies, green fields, clean streets, and now well-functioning drains.

      Thank you, the reply I was looking for :) Being a hospital, I assumed he would have popped inside to check on it from a possible hazmat perspective :) To save others the time... Potassium permanganate is an oxidizing agent with disinfectant, deodorizing, and astringent properties.

      Yeah the hospitals are usually really good at knowing what goes down what drain (best they can) so they are quick to say when something could be hazardous

    Hi bud, good to see the channel has grown and continues to.
    Watch on TV so can't comment as much as like to, but made effort today and logged on laptop.
    Audio has improved 1000% from those early days on your phone, and although that was the reason you started voice over, I think the combination now with occasional "live" chat works great.
    And your spot on, no-one really gets that you become nose blind to the smell (maybe not grease though, that's just unique).
    Keep it up, oh, and pester the boss to get you a remote for your jetta 😁

    • @Keep_itflowing
      @Keep_itflowing  12 днів тому +2

      Thank you, thanks for making the effort to comment, I think it works well, it's better because I can say what I want to say and I can do 10 takes if I need too without missing and interesting bit. (sometimes it takes that many when im editing late at night 😂).
      Being nose blind seems to be a surprise to everyone. Yes grease is always the hardest to ignore.
      I will do and yes I would love one hopefully when I get a new van (not anytime soon 😂)

    Sometime you discover things on youtube, today I learn the English name of theses lovely little white flower, "daisy", meaning that the Donald's wife name is a flower (Duck not trump) and the daisy-chain was more than a electrical engineering concept that can be a convenient way to link multiples elements of a stereo-system ! (Look stupid but hey English is not my mother tongue)

    Here in Sweden they suck out the 3 chamber septic tank every year, and truck has a separator in it that takes out the big solids, then they pump the slightly cleaner slurry back into the septic tank. They say they need to do this to keep the tank full of bacteria, rather than the tank having to start all over again.

    • @Keep_itflowing
      @Keep_itflowing  12 днів тому +2

      Iv seen it done over here with recyclers but I don't really see the point you never get a tank perfectly clean so there is always going to be bacteria in there to get it going again and doesn't take to long really. I suppose it would save on disposal costs if you are only tipping solids. But a vacuum tanker is expensive anyway, and a recycler is more expensive and more to go wrong.

      We once had a Victorian era cottage with a septic tank. As we had no record of it being done, we had it emptied. It was in very good condition. At the bottom of the tank was a small skeleton. Either a cat or more likely a rabbit. Seems it was common practice, so the rotting corpse would produce the bacteria to make the tank work.

      Here in the UK, he approaches to and exits from a pedestrian crossing is marked with zigzag lines. You mustn't park on them or overtake the leading vehicle when approaching the crossing. Parking here would block the view for pedestrians and approaching traffic
