Neil is my favorite guitar Player. He is no Eddie Van Hallen or Malmsteen but he’s playing with his heart. Intuitive music.
What he’s playing (and wrote) with is musicality and melodic brilliance. Much harder to come by that than just guitar flash.

I love this song! I recently played it over and over for two hours on my way to my country home. I was belting out: "I'm thankful for my country home. It gives me peace of mind. Somewhere I can walk alone and leave my self behind." Thank you Neil for putting my life to your songs and being the background music to my life.

In case you are interested, the last few months I have been converting tracks that are supposedly Mono, but are not, into Mono. Have you experienced this problem? Cheers from Tassie.

Awesome tone! A Gibson guitar through a Fender amp with Neil's signature reverb on steroids. Brilliant. Can't believe I was so lucky as to be in Santa Cruz when this show happened and to be able to sort of relive it now 30 years later.
My friends went and saw him at the Golden Bear in Huntington beach, I never forgave them for not taking me

I proper came to NY in 1990 working in a record store in London. Weld came out and some of the guys in their late 20s stuck it on LOUD and said "listen to this!" and Farmer John belted out. That was it. MY country home.

I live in SC County and remember Neil played the Catalyst under a "secret band name". This doesn't seem to be Mirror Ball era so I missed this one. I crank the shit outta this song on Sunday's while I make breakfast for the family, Eggs, Bacon and toast. Later, I replay this and do my best to jam over it with my guitar...I love the record...I love the song...I love Neil. He along with AC/DC and the two most important bands in my life. I love you Neil. Fuck David Crosby...we all love you Neil. Your musical contribution to the world is second to none. I have all your records and have attended many Bridge School benefits, (sometimes just to support the school, other times to get my fill of NY). This song makes me want to get high with the spring air while I have my coffee in the back yard. Come back to Monterey Bay, Aptos is here.
