Why are there boss mats in the game? who wants to farm for that anyway? if you look at the trading website, it's actually full of people that sell stacks of 100-200 stygian stones. So dupe is king.
Or get rid of boss mats.. why force me to engage with every part of a game when all I wanna do is blast the same boss for 6 hours like I did with Mephisto back in the day
It would be nice if seasonal systems like this had a “prestige” system so to speak so that you can reset the rank and claim the rewards again on the same character by grinding again
@@plaguefps Not necessarily the same 18 ranks but modified with materials only. Or the 1% possibility to get a 2nd cache with 5 or more legendaries / uniques with at least 1 guaranteed greater affix etc. There is so much they could implement or make easier.
Blizzard logic: level more characters to reach the incredibly stupidly limited 12 slots of characters just to delete them afterwards and waste time for absolutely nothing.
Another great QoL I'd love is just respawning the summoning ritual after boss dies so we don't have to leave dungeon and reset. Would save a ton of time when farming the bosses.
Saw a reddit post today about how someone did a 500 Pit 100s test and only got 6 stones. We asked for an easier time chaining bosses so it wasn't so mind numbingly painful and a full time job just going through loading screens. Blizzard came back saying they heard us .. and gave us bosses that are astronomically harder, requiring an astronomically rare new material. NOT WHAT WE ASKED FOR! Madness.

100% agree I don’t want to spend all that time running to the boss just to one shot it and get one single mat, it’s boring, unfun, and a waste of time.
Put a marker on the Beast room on your first attempt. Then the nexts ones will have the mark on the map and you can just go straight into it instead of searching for the boss room. It will save you a lot of time each run

It’s a shame that we can’t ever do Uber vashaan or beast or whatever because the stones are so rare you need to spend them all on duriel. I’d like to see either more stones or no stone requirement for the lesser bosses it sucks to spend an hour killing vashaan in 1 hit
I spent yesterday and half of today grinding to max rep with the Iron Wolves solo. I got 6 stygian stones. In that time (about 9 hours) my friend ran non stop 4 min Pits. He got ZERO stygian stones.

The group rotation meta makes this feel even worse. If you want to do these bosses solo it feels like you're wasting a TON of value since the mats are so rare.
It also makes people scum out of groups at higher rates .. because they know how rare the materials are and either don't want to spend them when their time is up, or they never had them to begin with because of course they're so damn rare.
I'm glad you covered how if you do tormented Varshan you still only get one egg. It should at least match the material you spend to summon (ie: 3-5 eggs)
On a side note, they should change Beast in the Ice, the idea of having to do a longer dungeon than all the others just makes em want not to farm him for it's too much lost time on him
Yeah it's a lot of extra work to farm him and I think he is the main reason we can't just summon bosses back to back at the summoning pedestal so for goodness sake just add a pedestal to his boss room and let us resummon bosses after killing them.
@@jonyalviverde additionally, if you get stacks of the debuff, it takes over to the next tries. I collected 4 stacks in my first try on him because i didnt pay attention and then was oneshotted the other 3 tries by basic melee attacks. Fun stuff, blizz.
Ive gotten two Stygian stones from world bosses and maybe another two from level 61+ pit. This is across almost three level 100 characters at over 60 hours into the season. I can confirm that for me the drop rate is so damn abysmal that I have to rely on the stone rewards from the season journey and multiple level 18 iron wolf rep farms.
I finished my second character to level 18 and the character was only level 58, wasn't as much of a grind as some people say. Only the last two levels felt like a bit of a slog. Might do another just to do a necro did sorc and barb so far.
So I had 850 living steels and I was waiting for the patch to address the issue with stygian stones so I could farm the uber version. But the fix did not come so I farmed like 400-450 of those mats yesterday just to get some shard and also to get rid of them since they take up so much space. I still have the same issue with the Exquisite Blood, I have 832 of them right now and they take up so much space

Need to add the following in 28th patch. Drop rate of the stone from pit lvl 61 bosses about 20%. Increased by 1% per level. Lower ladder tormented bosses need to drop 5X everything including mats. This shouldn’t take 4.5 months of development to implement. And there’s no downside. Not a single person will complain and everyone would be happy and this would be the best for the game.
Yeah, I've been grinding Pit runs with no luck. Fortunately, Heart of Selig dropped for me before I exhausted my stock of stones. Thanks for confirming the rarity.
The biggest problems are: - running to all these bosses takes longer than fighting them -> annoying - 2% uber unique drop rate so you have to kill Duriel 50x so you have to kill 2 small bosses 100x each -> annoying They really should reconsider being able to spawn these bosses after the fight without resetting the dungeon and reduce the cost of spawning Duriel/Andariel.
I dont see why we have to re run the dungoens to spawn bosses. If i bring 200 runs of a boss to run it why cant i just keep spawning it after i killed it. Ive gotten 2 stones after doing 120 Pits.
1. Delete all boss mats and make 1 or 2 currencies, steal it straight from Borderlands. Make the currency drop at different rates for different activites. Adjust and balance cost accordingly. If they go 2 currencies make the pit and base level bosses drop the currency for tormented bosses. Thats 1 issue solved. 2. We KNOW from season three the framework exists for storing a summoning mat in our mat pouch. To open the big vault in season 3 all mats had a "seaaonal" slot at the top of your materials page. Just put them there. That fixes stash and player storage. That or make mats storable at each boss pedestal, go to grind a boss, dump all ur mats and use as you summon.
I think 1 stygian stone for the "first tier" meaning everyone but andy and duriel then 2 for andy and duriel and keep the uber drops the same kinds gives a progression feel to the bosses too. However beast in the ice may need a tune up to stay in t1 lol.
I think they should spread out the uber-uniques! so we can target farm a greater uber!! Maybe something like this? They need to get rid all the different boss mats and go to a tier 1 boss powder for varsh/grig/etc and a tier 2 powder for dur/and/etc. Tier 2 boss powder is acquired from any tier 1 boss. WE just exchange the powder at the altar. It is the bundled herbs solution and it needs to happen for next season.
So far, I had 2 Stygian Stones drop in the Pit, AFAIK, one actually at lvl 30, the other one at 60/61. Also, "normal" bosses seem to drop one 925 Unique, I had some double drops on them, the other Unique was a lower drop though.
the inventory/bank pressure is completly reasonable now. No game has unlimited stash space anyway. I dont have stash problems yet...and i play a lot since launch. In Season 2 i would have stash problems in my 3rd day.
I think the drop rate in the pit should be doubled at max, they should drop from goblins (10% chance maybe) and give the butcher 100% drop chance. I think that would fix the issue and they still feel somewhat rare and you are happy when you get one
I like the PIT but its a shore for me, i can get get through them up to 70 pretty well, but if i die and get respawned in the screen before instead of next to my portal it just gives me the shits even when im in the same room but ive respawned at the beginning of the map, its so shit. Dont get why we cant just respawn in the final stage. Ive killed torment Varshan a couple of time and to only get one egg was a huge let down. Anyway lets hope they fix it.
For me stygian drop rate is ok. Simply do some "lower" neathiron tiers of the pit or helltide. In helltide, the 275 and 250 chests drop stygian stones too sometimes. Also the Blood Maiden drops stygian stones sometimes. And then you do the world bosses inbetween that also drop stygian stones from time to time. And yes, the tormented bosses also drop uniques with greater affixes. Maybe you simply had badluck.
I got lucky w a GF on my runs through Tormented on Tormented Zir. Being careful with my tormented because of lack of stygian stones. Got 2 stones in 100-ish runs of pit. Totally agree with your takes on this.
Try running pit 30 and pit 60 ( last level before difficultly switch ) perhaps wording is funky those 2 stages are considered "deep" because lots of people saying their low friends are getting them more and that may be why .
I get two or three per day by doing a few pits and sometimes from a world boss. But they can drop even at 31 pits. Also bosses do drop very rarely GA items. I got Overkill with death blow GA and Twin strikes. But both were 925. I never got a sub 925 with GA. Maybe that's the key, since bosses often drop under 925 and uber bosses only 925. Imho that's not an issue. It makes drops from open world more exciting that just farming normal bosses.
I am 99% sure I got a greater affix on a Tormented Duriel, but unfortunately it was a Andariel Visage with 15% attack speed. It’s possible I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure I got it this way.
I too noticed how much BoI drops I had over all the other boss mats in NMD's compared to normal, the ratio is DEFINITELY off. And yeah I definitely noticed I wasn't getting any stygian stones from the pit. Imho, it should give you at least 1 stone per pit.
I'd like to see all the boss mats moved to the material tab with the option at the alchemist to convert them into cache like pit mats for trading purposes
I did about 50 pits 60+. Not a single Stygian Stone from that. 200 Ubers + 30 Tormented. Not a single uber unique. My luck is terrible. I got like 2-3 Stygian Stones from Helltides or Uber Bosses (didn't notice when I dropped them while farming) and the rest is from my 3 characters.
It is frustrating. I'm doing pit levels 80 and higher and have only gained one stone in 20 runs. My friend, who's doing around mid-30, has gained 5 in ten or so of his runs. It is a total mess.
1 greater stat affix across the drop should be like 100% in tormented bosses, it;s still crazy grind but at least something. In next season good addition would be slightly better drop (always double) for Stygians from pit 90+, one in world t4 side quest for 8 Stygians and drop quality increase in tormented.
I think greater affix chance is affected by monster level. So with the ladder bosses being 75/80, the chance is really low by result. It's also the reason why I've got a bank full of boss mats, there is zero reason to farm atm if you aren't planning to farm a greater affix uber unique.
They always do this. Next season/fix they will either rain stones or remove them altogether. Remember when you had to collect 8 different mats to run greater rifts in D3?
You know what the most thing bug me i got the grandfather With little research i found out any build with barb or necro will be worst using the grandfather Why bec of tempering sooo powerful that even 100%× crit dmg cant compete. I actually dont want tempering to be in unique But i wish actually one of my biggest wish for this game that they remove any range in unique I want the unique drop same stat at 300 IP OR 925 IP no range in the stat the dmg per sec is the same Weather you get it at level 30 or 80 And finally unique have minimum 1 GA and have higher chance to get more than 1. And keep tempering away from them😅😮
I have so much steel and other boss mats that I don't want to run 100 times just to get durial mats. Having the the stones would make this so much better
The crazy thing is the tormented versions of the lesser Ubers don’t drop 5x summoning mats when you kill them like you’d expect. Tormented grig still only gave 1 shard, not 5x 🤦🏼♂️
Scattered Prisms feel way too rare too. Especially so since need more of them than Stygians by far since need them to put slots on gear. I know they planning on putting 100% drop rate on goblins and I think world bosses etc, possibly whispers but until that patch goes live I am constantly out of Prisms.
Just do World Bosses. They drop at every single one in later WT. I have got 15 or so stored up & every item that can be socketed has max amount of them. Tbh you don’t need a socket until lvl90 & end game ancestral gear so save them up.
It's possible to get non-uber Uniques with Greater Affixes.. I got 2 in less than 24h playtime. Both are 925 and got them from Helltide Blood Maiden or chests. So it's possible.
It is nice to hear that i am not alone who fights with this stygian sh.t...i dont know how many pits i went in a row without styg.... i go pits periodically but uber bosses are prohibited for me because of stygians..i dont have...
I felt exactly the same way. Season 4 is the first season I felt excited to hit Level 100 because of the Level 200 uber bosses. Otherwise i was done with the season once I hit 100 and finished the season journey. And now you just can't even summon them, what a shame
Whats even worse is that farming bosses that actually drop usefull stuff are kept behind having to farm bosses that dont drop anything good I have to do in order to get the mats. If I could just always summon the uber version, than at least it would make sense to farm them....
I agree on the stygian stones being too rare. However I think you may be wrong on the uber uniques drop rates being different amongst the tormented bosses. I have found several uber uniques on all of them, not especially tormented Duriel.
I do 90-100 pit and dropped like once so far, it is insane. I also killed with friend all tormented bosses and dropped 1 uber from like 15 kills. I have 300+ mats on ice beast, but most stones for tormented version, which more exciting fight tbh, i got from the seasonal rewards. Steel chests do not make sense any more in helltide I do not open them anymore. Completely agree!!! this does not make any sense. PS Also the game still drops ton of items if you farm helltide boss for 20 min you get so much items it fills your screen, but most of them are useless.
Should have a conversion to stones, IE 50 bloods or 25 living steel for one stone. Gives a reason to keep farming but after a single 100 character i have 300+ summoning materials.
The fact this keeps happening just shows that they don't put in even enough time to come across this problem when they play test. Means their 'play testing' is absolutely useless.
I have about 250 normal boss mats of each type and no stones, im at the end of my season run until they change it. Not making news characters just for 5 torment boss runs
yeah im really not in the mood to farm the normal bosses anymore... got one tyrial which i use sometimes on my barb but other than that im running without uber uniques. they are not that super strong this season anyway.
Stygian stones should be rare as fuck. In POE you had to run a certain number of maps before you got an eldritch invitation. If you don’t want to farm them just use your billions of gold wudi and buy them. I’m tired of people complaining about how they have to play the game and want everything handled to them.
Have the non-duriel/andy tormented bosses drop Stygian at good rate. Even if they up Stygian in pit, not a lot of running beast in ice gonna happen so incentivizes those runs.
I don't think you should assume that is what blizzard wants. It was most likely missed in the PTR and the problem is only occurring now when there is a real economy. All these things need to change but, were just exemplified recently.
I got a tibaults will with 2 greater affix at 925 randomly in a nightmare dungeon. But the roll was 11% of 20... so I don't even want to use it. It's like really dumb how much rng was put into this season. You need to find an item with a useful greater affix, then play the lottery with tempering, then pray that it hits the right stats on masterwork. If not reset and go again. Like it's a crazy grind in my honest opinion. Especially cause like you said you want to work your way up to doing the level 200 bosses as a farm. But you can't get the stones to drop other than running multiple characters. I'm going to be honest, I dont want everything handed to me and agree that there should be some rng and grind, but I feel like blizzard has made it a tad too much of a slot machine in this season. Just my two cents. I did like 30 duriel runs last night and not a single greater affix unique or uber unique.

In Diablo 3 I stacked 3000 gems in one slot, I don't know why they can't do it in D4, it's just a simple counter after all.

Yep I am closing in a stack of 50 stygian mostly from the rep rewards.
I've enjoyed it for mats etc I've done 5 characters and it takes me about 8 hours

Also, i think he is the only one we only get 4 dies since he is a NMD. So if u die a lot, you lose all the materials. Does not make any sense to me.

@Rancid_Ninja people are buying them. Prices aren't crazy, but there are people that don't have any mats and lots of gold
More content creators need to be voicing this so blizzard feels the pressure to fix it.

you should be allowed to overpay bosses and get that amount of drops/summon on a mats per kill up to say 5x so its not such a grind

I've been running tier 100 NM dungeons and level 75 in the pit, I've NEVER seen one other than what I got from rewards/iron wolves.

I dont see why we have to re run the dungoens to spawn bosses. If i bring 200 runs of a boss to run it why cant i just keep spawning it after i killed it. Ive gotten 2 stones after doing 120 Pits.
I currently have 18 of them. I haven't fought a single Uber yet as I've been pit pushing but when I'm done, it's ON!
1. Delete all boss mats and make 1 or 2 currencies, steal it straight from Borderlands. Make the currency drop at different rates for different activites. Adjust and balance cost accordingly. If they go 2 currencies make the pit and base level bosses drop the currency for tormented bosses. Thats 1 issue solved. 2. We KNOW from season three the framework exists for storing a summoning mat in our mat pouch. To open the big vault in season 3 all mats had a "seaaonal" slot at the top of your materials page. Just put them there. That fixes stash and player storage. That or make mats storable at each boss pedestal, go to grind a boss, dump all ur mats and use as you summon.

I think 1 stygian stone for the "first tier" meaning everyone but andy and duriel then 2 for andy and duriel and keep the uber drops the same kinds gives a progression feel to the bosses too. However beast in the ice may need a tune up to stay in t1 lol.
I think they should spread out the uber-uniques! so we can target farm a greater uber!!

They need to get rid all the different boss mats and go to a tier 1 boss powder for varsh/grig/etc and a tier 2 powder for dur/and/etc. Tier 2 boss powder is acquired from any tier 1 boss. WE just exchange the powder at the altar. It is the bundled herbs solution and it needs to happen for next season.

So far, I had 2 Stygian Stones drop in the Pit, AFAIK, one actually at lvl 30, the other one at 60/61.
Also, "normal" bosses seem to drop one 925 Unique, I had some double drops on them, the other Unique was a lower drop though.
There's too much cr@p we have to have in our inventory. Stash space is still a problem.
the inventory/bank pressure is completly reasonable now.
No game has unlimited stash space anyway.
I dont have stash problems yet...and i play a lot since launch.
In Season 2 i would have stash problems in my 3rd day.
I think the drop rate in the pit should be doubled at max, they should drop from goblins (10% chance maybe) and give the butcher 100% drop chance. I think that would fix the issue and they still feel somewhat rare and you are happy when you get one

I killed duriel and über duriel about 10x and did not get anything
I like the PIT but its a shore for me, i can get get through them up to 70 pretty well, but if i die and get respawned in the screen before instead of next to my portal it just gives me the shits even when im in the same room but ive respawned at the beginning of the map, its so shit. Dont get why we cant just respawn in the final stage. Ive killed torment Varshan a couple of time and to only get one egg was a huge let down. Anyway lets hope they fix it.
For me stygian drop rate is ok. Simply do some "lower" neathiron tiers of the pit or helltide. In helltide, the 275 and 250 chests drop stygian stones too sometimes. Also the Blood Maiden drops stygian stones sometimes. And then you do the world bosses inbetween that also drop stygian stones from time to time. And yes, the tormented bosses also drop uniques with greater affixes. Maybe you simply had badluck.
I got lucky w a GF on my runs through Tormented on Tormented Zir. Being careful with my tormented because of lack of stygian stones. Got 2 stones in 100-ish runs of pit. Totally agree with your takes on this.
I've done one tormented boss and can't get more stones. There needs to be a medium boss level and higher drop rates for the stones.
Try running pit 30 and pit 60 ( last level before difficultly switch ) perhaps wording is funky those 2 stages are considered "deep" because lots of people saying their low friends are getting them more and that may be why .
I get two or three per day by doing a few pits and sometimes from a world boss.
But they can drop even at 31 pits.
Also bosses do drop very rarely GA items. I got Overkill with death blow GA and Twin strikes. But both were 925. I never got a sub 925 with GA. Maybe that's the key, since bosses often drop under 925 and uber bosses only 925.
Imho that's not an issue. It makes drops from open world more exciting that just farming normal bosses.
I am 99% sure I got a greater affix on a Tormented Duriel, but unfortunately it was a Andariel Visage with 15% attack speed. It’s possible I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure I got it this way.
Wish you could exchange like a 50 stack of beast summons or grig for a stig stone to clear up some inventory also.
I too noticed how much BoI drops I had over all the other boss mats in NMD's compared to normal, the ratio is DEFINITELY off. And yeah I definitely noticed I wasn't getting any stygian stones from the pit. Imho, it should give you at least 1 stone per pit.
I got a Stygian stone randomly in a pre-40 pit. Idk if the drop chance goes up as you progress because I’m up to 78 now and haven’t gotten another…
Done 5hours of 80speed pits last night and I got 1stone (running 80s in 3-4minutes) so feels not like it

I did about 50 pits 60+. Not a single Stygian Stone from that. 200 Ubers + 30 Tormented. Not a single uber unique. My luck is terrible. I got like 2-3 Stygian Stones from Helltides or Uber Bosses (didn't notice when I dropped them while farming) and the rest is from my 3 characters.
It is frustrating. I'm doing pit levels 80 and higher and have only gained one stone in 20 runs. My friend, who's doing around mid-30, has gained 5 in ten or so of his runs. It is a total mess.
1 greater stat affix across the drop should be like 100% in tormented bosses, it;s still crazy grind but at least something. In next season good addition would be slightly better drop (always double) for Stygians from pit 90+, one in world t4 side quest for 8 Stygians and drop quality increase in tormented.
I think greater affix chance is affected by monster level. So with the ladder bosses being 75/80, the chance is really low by result. It's also the reason why I've got a bank full of boss mats, there is zero reason to farm atm if you aren't planning to farm a greater affix uber unique.
They always do this. Next season/fix they will either rain stones or remove them altogether. Remember when you had to collect 8 different mats to run greater rifts in D3?

no range in the stat the dmg per sec is the same
Weather you get it at level 30 or 80
And finally unique have minimum 1 GA and have higher chance to get more than 1.

I have so much steel and other boss mats that I don't want to run 100 times just to get durial mats. Having the the stones would make this so much better
The crazy thing is the tormented versions of the lesser Ubers don’t drop 5x summoning mats when you kill them like you’d expect. Tormented grig still only gave 1 shard, not 5x 🤦🏼♂️
Scattered Prisms feel way too rare too. Especially so since need more of them than Stygians by far since need them to put slots on gear. I know they planning on putting 100% drop rate on goblins and I think world bosses etc, possibly whispers but until that patch goes live I am constantly out of Prisms.
Just do World Bosses. They drop at every single one in later WT. I have got 15 or so stored up & every item that can be socketed has max amount of them. Tbh you don’t need a socket until lvl90 & end game ancestral gear so save them up.
It's possible to get non-uber Uniques with Greater Affixes.. I got 2 in less than 24h playtime. Both are 925 and got them from Helltide Blood Maiden or chests. So it's possible.
It is nice to hear that i am not alone who fights with this stygian sh.t...i dont know how many pits i went in a row without styg.... i go pits periodically but uber bosses are prohibited for me because of stygians..i dont have...
I felt exactly the same way. Season 4 is the first season I felt excited to hit Level 100 because of the Level 200 uber bosses. Otherwise i was done with the season once I hit 100 and finished the season journey. And now you just can't even summon them, what a shame
They probably thought we'd push further into the pit and put higher odds for stones at the later levels
Whats even worse is that farming bosses that actually drop usefull stuff are kept behind having to farm bosses that dont drop anything good I have to do in order to get the mats. If I could just always summon the uber version, than at least it would make sense to farm them....
i wish the tormented lower bosses dropped 3x the durial and andi mats :( would be nice to convert mats so much faster
I agree on the stygian stones being too rare. However I think you may be wrong on the uber uniques drop rates being different amongst the tormented bosses. I have found several uber uniques on all of them, not especially tormented Duriel.
Its also egregious that tormented version of the lower tier bosses only give 1 boss material.
I do 90-100 pit and dropped like once so far, it is insane. I also killed with friend all tormented bosses and dropped 1 uber from like 15 kills. I have 300+ mats on ice beast, but most stones for tormented version, which more exciting fight tbh, i got from the seasonal rewards. Steel chests do not make sense any more in helltide I do not open them anymore. Completely agree!!! this does not make any sense.
PS Also the game still drops ton of items if you farm helltide boss for 20 min you get so much items it fills your screen, but most of them are useless.
They probably scaled the drop rates of the stones thinking people would be chain clearing lvl 200 pits.

I found 1 stone in like 50+ pit runs 80-110 lvl... Knowing Blizzard they drop like candy in pits 150+ but no one can get there yet XD

Should have a conversion to stones, IE 50 bloods or 25 living steel for one stone. Gives a reason to keep farming but after a single 100 character i have 300+ summoning materials.
Its a shame unique items absolutely suck now because of the tempering system.
The fact this keeps happening just shows that they don't put in even enough time to come across this problem when they play test. Means their 'play testing' is absolutely useless.

I have about 250 normal boss mats of each type and no stones, im at the end of my season run until they change it. Not making news characters just for 5 torment boss runs
Why does varshawn normal need 10 parts vs everyone else 2 im always short on varshawn parts kinda annoying

yeah im really not in the mood to farm the normal bosses anymore... got one tyrial which i use sometimes on my barb but other than that im running without uber uniques. they are not that super strong this season anyway.

me and my group did 20x Tormented Duriel, and got ZERO Ubers, did 1 normal anda and one dropped.
I Found 1 in level 60 and 2 in 80s. And I already farmed most my items level 12
I’ve literally had one stone since the season started. I’ve high in the pits and done loads of other stuff. 😮

I've gotten some regular uniques with affixes, but they're pretty rare.
Think I farmed about 30 odd pit 90’s yesterday and got 1 stone drop rate is guff.
I have never seen a singel stone drop.
I got 2 stones in a row doing tier 55, then I continued pushing and no more stone for me

Stygian stones should be rare as fuck. In POE you had to run a certain number of maps before you got an eldritch invitation. If you don’t want to farm them just use your billions of gold wudi and buy them. I’m tired of people complaining about how they have to play the game and want everything handled to them.

Have the non-duriel/andy tormented bosses drop Stygian at good rate. Even if they up Stygian in pit, not a lot of running beast in ice gonna happen so incentivizes those runs.

I don't think you should assume that is what blizzard wants. It was most likely missed in the PTR and the problem is only occurring now when there is a real economy. All these things need to change but, were just exemplified recently.

Ive done over 200 75+ pit runs and ive never had one drop. Ive gotten 1 from a world boss.
I got a tibaults will with 2 greater affix at 925 randomly in a nightmare dungeon. But the roll was 11% of 20... so I don't even want to use it. It's like really dumb how much rng was put into this season. You need to find an item with a useful greater affix, then play the lottery with tempering, then pray that it hits the right stats on masterwork. If not reset and go again. Like it's a crazy grind in my honest opinion. Especially cause like you said you want to work your way up to doing the level 200 bosses as a farm. But you can't get the stones to drop other than running multiple characters. I'm going to be honest, I dont want everything handed to me and agree that there should be some rng and grind, but I feel like blizzard has made it a tad too much of a slot machine in this season. Just my two cents. I did like 30 duriel runs last night and not a single greater affix unique or uber unique.
Dude it's not that bad I feel like a lot of people are just trying to get everything easy it's ok to have to grind for things and it's a nice feeling to not brick a item tempering it
