His fatal accident happened about 1 mile from the apartment I lived in at the time. I couldn't drive threw that curve without thinking of him and feeling the sorrow. He was in Charlotte, NC at his girlfriend's parents house. He was out because he had broken his hand. He couldn't hold on to the back of the truck with the one hand. Just very sad.
I live in the oakdale neighborhood in walking distance from where this tragedy occurred and I think about it sometimes how negative moments can have eternal effects. That curve in the road where he fell has always been dangerous even after the recent road work “improvements”. Blessings to his family and friends, rest his soul.

I do think Chris would have had a great career in the NFL if tragedy hadn't struck. His mom was super nice too. I met her one night after a game. Two of the greatest players ever to put on the Mountaineer uniform.

I went to school with Chris Henry. He was one of the nicest dudes I’d ever met. Hated when I’d see him get burned in the media and when he died it was heart breaking. I’ll always cherish the memories I have of our interactions. He was not the guy he was portrayed to be in the media.

this might be my favorite vid. great, impactful story of some unseen aspects of both peoples lives. you go through struggles and it is great when you and others can overcome those struggles to become even more successful.
I went to school with Chris Henry. He was one of the nicest dudes I’d ever met. Hated when I’d see him get burned in the media and when he died it was heart breaking. I’ll always cherish the memories I have of our interactions. He was not the guy he was portrayed to be in the media.

I listen to flemos video like a podcast while working around the house. So you can imagine my utter shock when I look back said screamed “where are the dreads!?”

I live in Charlotte’s oakdale neighborhood in walking distance from where this tragedy occurred and I think about it sometimes how a negative moment can have an eternal effects. That curve in the road where he fell has always been dangerous even after the recent road work “improvements”. Blessings to his family and friends, rest his soul. PacMan Jones is a real man for adopting Chris’ son.
