Hello Diane! Thanks for sharing your yarny adventures. I live in Tennessee, USA. My husband and I took a trip to PEI back in May of this year. We visited Fleece and Harmony. Kim and her husband Kim were so welcoming. I loved her shop in Belfast. I purchased a lot of their Point Prim wool. We wanted to also visit Green Gables Alpaca Farm in Tyne Valley but they did not open until June. We are planning a trip back next year. Have a blessed day!
You have fun too! It us set up day today. Feeling unusually nervous, but the weather is going to be great this weekend ( no snow) so driving will be good. Just cool enough fir thinking about mittens. Good luck at your market too.
😂 I'm sure Jan and Laura would be misbehaving in the back seat. Loving those coffee stitch markers. And gorgeous yarnolicious hanks. I truly enjoyed this entire series.❤ That's amazing customer service 👏 (unlike Aberdon't 😅) Good luck at the market 😊
Diane, your opening for this video is hilarious. 😂I was wondering where you were going with the complaint about having to vacuum the backseat recently. When you put up the pictures of those 3 content creators, it was a scream. You picked great photos of them to caption and explain their misbehaviours. 😁 The yarns you showed look very nice. I too like neutrals so I'm always happy to see your choices. 😉
I have quite the collection if grey yarn now, and it is all quite different. Sometimes blue grey, sometimes smokey. I am knitting an advent sweater and using brown as the colour to tie it all together in December. Can't wait!
I love PEI (Maritimers always call it by the short form) We have been there many times over the years and I think due for another trip in the near future! (Anne of Green Gables fan here)! I will have to visit Fleece and Harmony now that I have more interest in hand dyed yarns! Maybe putting another lighter neutral with the two you got would work. Good luck at your markets and can't wait to hear all about it.
Definately need a light neutral with the Diva's Desire yarn. Thinking I could just make cabled hats with each one. I don't know where I kept saying the long form name of PEI! Urgh ...lol
Thanks Judy, I woke up nervous this morning, it is set up day. I am going to sit down with a coffee and watch your episode now, finish my last market mitten and relax a bit before these busy days ahead. Don't know what I'll do if I sell them out. Jump for joy , then panic 😆
All the best at your market Diane! You asked about colourwork with the Fleece & Harmony ... In my experience, those might not work together, without a third lighter or brighter hank. If you take a "black & white" photo with the two hanks beside each other, it gives an indication of whether the two blend together or whether they will allow colourwork to stand out. (That said, they are great colours & I love them both.) 💖🤗
Thanks Cathy! That us a great idea taking a photo in B & W. The tone ( or darkness) is definately the same. I am sure I have a mini or two kicking around that would work with these.
My friend and I went to PEI fibre fest last year, had a very nice time. The island is beautiful. Thanks for sharing
How lovely! I hope to go back someday. ❤
Hi Diane, best of luck with your market this weekend! Great video. Love your editing Diane, so sweet ❤❤
Thanks Alice, we will have to have a coffee date to debrief on how it went next week.
Beautiful yarns 😊🎉🎉
Thanks for watching Denyse
Good luck on your market! You have worked so hard, I hope you do well!
Thanks so much, today is set up day and I woke up nervous!
I think a 3 color, color work pattern with a bright color would look awesome together.
@@alisavanrooyen1030 I would like to use the two yarns together. Might eventually get a third Deva's Desire to go with them.
Very pretty colors in the Atlantic Welcome. Good luck on your market!
Thanks Mary. Yes, the Atlantic Welcome looked even better in person compared to the listing photo.

It really is a beautiful part of the world. So nice to hear that you want to return there
Hi Diane! I like hand-dyed yarn as well. Thank you for introducing me to new-to-me dyers.
You are very welcome! It is so fun to discover new dyers.
Morning Diane! Have fun this weekend! Very pretty colours today. Gentle Island is awesome. I bought some of her stash last year 😂, small world.

Thanks for traveling for those of us who can’t. So much fun seeing your haul😎🌻🧶🍁
Thanks for watching and your comment Anne.

Laura just threw up on Jan ( read her comment, she's hilarious).

The last road trip episode they invited themselves into the virtual car, so they were fair game. 😅
Nice to see my home province represented. I have never bought from Fleece and Harmony, maybe it’s time for a road trip?
You should go if you get a chance. I am sure they are worth the trip!
Loved the grays you got. I am becoming a big fan of grays and browns. Two colors that I have avoided. Have a great week.

Hey Diane, funny I was gonna mention Fleece and Harmony, but then you did😂. They have a really great YT channel. Love that green color..oh goodness❤
The green alfalfa is a wonderful colour. I am behind in my YT watching and am hoping to catch up on their channel soon.
I'm sorry for the popcorn litter in your car. Lovely greys.
Oh! It was YOU! 🍿
@@MyPinkBathtub-Diane I'm a messy eater 😆 better than the gummy bears stuck to the floorboards. I can't be blamed for that one.

Glad to see some yarn from PEI. Good luck at your market but don’t sell out as you need some for next month as well. 😉

@@MyPinkBathtub-Diane you will do just fine & whatever happens will be just great!😊

@@MyPinkBathtub-Diane Very happy that the pictures helped. 😊
I like the grey yarn from Red Island Fiber. Any ideas for what you’ll make with it?
Not really 😆 , perhaps pair it with a solid grey?
Can you pull over, I'm car sick and I need to Bluuuuuuuurrp, never mind, I just threw up all over Jan.
😅😂 Oh dear, I
better stop at the car wash so I can hose her down. Guess you better ride shotgun for the Newfoundland trip! 🤪
