Happy Vlogmas back! I am already getting into a routine here. Filming/editing one day ahead and knitting and watching Vlogmas at night 😅. I watched yours last night xo❤
Polka Dot Creek dyes gorgeous yarn! Looking forward to seeing how your sweater project progresses …. I haven’t decided on an advent project yet. Thanks for doing Vlogmas - I really enjoy your episodes ❤
I love how you are showing Canadian businesses. Polkadot yarn looks lovely! I'm using Mary Maxim Christmas sock yarn, the Happy Holidays colour. Doing 56 stitches on 2.25 mm needles to get a dense sock to wear in my winter boots. Southern BC gas a bit of snow, and it's only hitting the minuses at night, but I love my wooly socks!
Hello and welcome! I chose to buy Canadian this year due to the exchange rate. So many talented dyers here! I have been doing 64 stitches, but I like the idea of a denser sock. Happy sock knitting!
My favourite colour wool was from the gnome advent. Right now I am working on a bulky blanket as a gift for Xmas, and I am also doing Santa's clothesline that you did last Christmas. I think I remember you saying there are alot of ends to sew in, and boy, were you right!😢
I missed the Jim jams! Glad you brought them back. What over a thousand, big huge congrats my friend!!!❤ well deserved. The gnome bags from Alice are super cute. I have a crochet of gnome that I made last year of you want to see? That teal is gorgeous but I like the dark green too. I have to know what flavors of cocoa you guys are drinking. I never use the picture for puzzles. So exciting, I think I need to look into getting one of those. I love that you took us to decorate the fireplace with you. ❤ I wish I could get snow for my bday.
That’s going to be a beautiful sweater! I’ve got the Aberdeen wool advent. I need to decide what I want to make with it. I’d like to make one item with it. Maybe a sweater. I only crochet so can’t do the sweater you are. I’ve promised myself I won’t open any of my days early. And not until it’s during the day. No midnight opening for me! Eek! lol! Congrats on your subscribers!
Crochet takes much more yarn than knitting , but you should have more than enough yarn from the Advent as they are 30 gram skeins ( plus the full skein). Have fun looking for a pattern!
Hello Dianne Congratulations on your 1000 subscribers. I so enjoy your podcast. You’re so down to earth and sweet. I have an advent from last year Polkadot creek I haven’t finished it yet 😂.
Hi Diane. You look like you’re having a blast with your advents, very happy for you. Favourite colour today would be the red, very rich. CONGRATULATIONS 🥳, amazing accomplishment, look at you grow! Have not picked up a hook or needle yet today, that might be a first. Family birthday/gender reveal dinner day, because my weekend wasn’t already full 😂. I have an hour and a half before 11 people roll in so off to knit a Christmas hat for one of the littles. See you tomorrow!
A good start to the vlogmas season. I don't watch many, but I really enjoy your's. Thank you for the idea of the Advent puzzle, I didn't know there was such a thing! My sister recently had to have surgery for a brain tumour, and is doing puzzles to keep her occupied and exercise her little grey cells. She finds large puzzles difficult at this time, so I thought the Advent puzzle would be fun. I ordered one from Amazon on Saturday....and she'll be receiving it sometime today....perfect timing! 😊
Glad to have you here Sandra, thank you ❤ I just learned of puzzle advents a few weeks ago. So glad you bought one for your sister, I almost bought another one the other day!
Congratulations on the subscriber milestone! I’m not sure I could do a whole sweater in 1 month! Good for you. I don’t have a Ravelry account, but I did win a pattern from a designer and she gave a Ravelry code that I was able to use without an account. Soooo might still work if someone without an account wants to win the pattern 😊 Thanks for a fun day 1!
Hello Diane, you are certainly forgiven. This is so much fun! I am glad I got to participate this year. Congratulations on 1000 subs!! I knew you were getting close😊❤
I just cast on my first Polka Dot Creek yarn. I won the yarn from the Knit Sip Happy podcast this past summer. It’s a Christmas theme yarn and bag. No worries on opening your advent early. I knit my Advent Socks from Woolens and Nosh in November. I couldn’t wait! They are beautiful. I just can’t post them yet. Congratulations on hitting 1,000 subscribers! I came over from Alice’s podcast. ❤️
Hello and welcome! Isn't it hard to wait? I love the idea of Woolen and Nosh's socks. I know Nancy Wheeler is doing it too and said that there were different starts for people.
@ Apparently that’s the norm with advent sock dyers but it’s the first time that Woolens and Nosh is doing it. That certainly makes it hard to not ruin it for someone else. But I understand why it happens.
Congrats on reaching 1K. Love the colors in the sweater already. Maybe the brown is the large skein. The sock is looking great. Like the advent puzzle. How fun, the ornaments are great. My fave color for the day was the light blue skein from the gnome opening.
Hi Diane, great vlogmas. My favorite color has to beth purple. If I can pick up sock yarn, in the next couple of weeks, I would love to join the sox a long😊
Hi Diane, Congratulations on your new milestone. How wonderful! No worries, you can open your Advent any way you want! Enjoy! I can't wait to see your Polkadot Creek Advent sweater, how cool! It's beautiful so far! I test-knitted the Imagined Landscape's December Mystery Gnome, Gnana's Visit. I'll be sharing one Clue at a time as it gets released on Ravelry. I can send to you, as well, if you like. 😊.
Fab Day 1 ….and my favourite colour was the purple!! Looking forward to tomorrow
Sorry if I am spoiling your gnome advent. Hope you got to New York safely, I watched your Day 1 last night. Yikes!
Polka dot creek has a great reputation for dying. Thanks for the chance to win. Happy Vlogmas!
Happy Vlogmas to you! ❤
Beautiful combo there with the Polka Dot Creek jumper!
Thanks, I am enjoying knitting it, hope it turns out as well as last year's sweater.
Congrats on hitting over 1K! Happy Vlogmas!
Happy Vlogmas back! I am already getting into a routine here. Filming/editing one day ahead and knitting and watching Vlogmas at night 😅. I watched yours last night xo❤
Advent time again!?! So exciting! I love Polka Dot Creek yarn…you are very lucky:)
I am taking a yarn buying break in 2025, its time to use all of this lovely yarn, so one last push at opening yarn.
Not sure I could wait
either!
Just the first colour was an early open! I really wanted to get it on my needles!
I love Polkadot Creek yarns and Shelley and her staff are great. ❤
They are great, I have always been happy when ordering from them.
I have never knit with Polkadot Creek before. The shawl looks cool.
It is lovely yarn, you should treat yourself sometime ❤
Polka Dot Creek dyes gorgeous yarn! Looking forward to seeing how your sweater project progresses …. I haven’t decided on an advent project yet. Thanks for doing Vlogmas - I really enjoy your episodes ❤
Hi Sandi, thanks for coming along, so nice to have you here again xo
Polka Dot Creek has such fun colours. Looking forward to seeing your sweater grow!
Me too! I am a tad nervous about the brown, but it will work out!
Polkadot Creek yarn looks lovely. Beautiful start to your sweater project. Happy holidays.
Happy Holidays to you Cindy ❤
I loved the purple the best:) Thanks for keeping me company this morning. My twins are 13 today, so a special day for us.
Happy birthday to the twins!

Good to know, you might be getting some in the future 😆
Looking forward to watching your 2024 Volga’s. Wish I had the Polka Dot advent.
Hello and Welcome !❤
Congratulations Diane, what a great start to advent ! 🎉🎉 it was vlogmas last year when I discovered your channel x
Yah! So happy to have you here with me Samantha xo

Hee hee, I had a feeling from your prep video you couldn't hold out! Love those Gingersnap colors so far.
I will behave now, I promise 😉 Except, for the gnome advent lol😅
Looking forward to seeing all the yarnie goodness. ♥️
Love having you here with me ❤ Love your comments, I find that we have the same sense of humour 😅
It’s the Canadian connection. Originally from Toronto. 😉
@@JustFluffyQuiltingYarnCrafts Right on! 🇨🇦
The Polka Dot Creek skeins work great with your collar. I am doing my first knitted Gnome as well.
Fun! If you finish your gnome this month I would love if you could email me a photo so I can share it on my channel this month. Have fun making it ❤
I like the colours in your gnome set. I think skein 1 & 3 could work for the gnome pattern.
I agree, I could use the darker blue at the bottom , but I want to wait and see what else I could use before deciding.
Congrats on 1000 subscribers. I haven't used Polkadot Creek yarn your mini is beautiful.
Thanks June ❤ They do have lovely yarn.

You are just non stop Tami! You deserve a break from making, to make dinner for a household! So, what was the gender?
@ it’s a boy, everyone is pretty excited. And the room will be jungle themed so, lions and tigers and bears oh my, 😂, yes, I have those patterns.

Hi Diane. Congratulations on reaching 1K! Very very happy for you! Looking forward to your Advent -- it sounds like a lot of fun.
Thank you Cathy dear ❤
Love pokadot creek yarn

Thank you Laura! It's nice to have a challenge and so far I am keeping up! 😂
Polka Dot Creek is the Canadian yarn dyer, but here in Montana we have my favorite--Polka Dot Sheep. Love the fact that their names are so similar.
@@shetlandlace Wow, so close to the same name!

I have Polka Dot Creek yarn in my stash and this pattern would be perfect.
Good luck with the draw! It will be on Sunday.
Congrats on your 1K subscriber milestone! Love Polka Dot Creek yarns! Their colors are awesome.
Thank you Lisa!❤
Polkadot Creek is one of my favourite yarn dyers. I love to knit wit their yarn and do have a modest stash of it. Your sock looks so good.
Huge compliment coming from a sock expert like you! Thank you ❤
Congratulations on your 1K subscriber milestone! The cranberry color from the advent is beautiful. Now…stay off the naughty list young lady.
I will be GOOD, I promise. Just getting ready to film Day 3 and can't wait to see the sweater stripe! ❤
Love vlogmas time, I loved the purple yarn, my favorite color. Working on hats for homeless vets currently, but I need to get them mail this week.
Nice! I have a bunch of knitted beanies here I am donating to a school for kids who forget their hats and need something for recess.
Congrats on reaching 1K. Love the colors in the sweater already. Maybe the brown is the large skein. The sock is looking great. Like the advent puzzle. How fun, the ornaments are great. My fave color for the day was the light blue skein from the gnome opening.
Thank you Cindy! I really like that light blue too. I know that the large skein isn't brown as they said the colour on the listing.
Oh, well. You have so many yummy colors in the gnome advent, I am sure you can find something.
You are getting a headstart on your sox, not fair
Well I can't stop knitting it! What kind of needles did you order? Dpns or circular?
Polka dot creek is a great pattern. Look forward to progress on your sweater. Great idea to pass on the puzzle x
Thanks Loraine, we already have a family to pass on the puzzle for next year!
That purple is gorgeous!
I could see how it would be a lovely fade.
Hi Diane, great vlogmas. My favorite color has to beth purple. If I can pick up sock yarn, in the next couple of weeks, I would love to join the sox a long😊
Would love to have you be part of the sox-a-long! It is running all year and you can join anytime!
Hey! You made 1k. I am off to church now. Will watch this when I return. 💕
I know! It was a lovely surprise ❤
Hi Diane, Congratulations on your new milestone. How wonderful! No worries, you can open your Advent any way you want! Enjoy! I can't wait to see your Polkadot Creek Advent sweater, how cool! Lovely Diane, congrats on the 1,000.😊How many gnomes do you knit with that advent. I’ll send pics of mine when I’m done.😊😊
Thanks Bonnie, can't wait to see your gnomes. Up to three gnomes ( with the pattern), but the pattern I chose takes three colours, so many four?!
Poke a dot creek
Thanks for watching.
