- I decided to spend money to make the best army as quick as possible and it kind of went to plan but not as well as I hoped. Seems like next time I play I need to spend more money so I can kill everything on the map.

DF, to spawn in more bugs you can use three pheromones. Pheromones are gained through defeating the red ant colony (you get one pheromone per red ant colony defeated) and other players in battle. If you don’t want to go against other players you can battle Dr. Zainy who gives you only one but he’s typically far easier to defeat. You can change how your ants look by buying skins for them in the gem shop, which costs gems (obviously).
As for the big bugs, beetles like the Hercules Beetle and the Bombarder Beetle can wipe out a lot of soldier ants with a single attack but their attack rates are slow. Scorpions, Tiger Beetles and Mantis are super fast to attack and only take out one or two at a time. You can buy a Venus Flytrap in the Resin Shop (that button that has the three icons in a basket) which can consume and kill a large bug in one swoop, but you can only use it to defend your nest so it can’t come with you on battles. It doesn’t attack soldier ants so if you see one, send your soldier ants to attack it first. Butterflies are healers so they heal the bugs your fighting, but since they fly they are invulnerable to soldier ants and ground based bugs until they land, which isn’t often. Dragon flies are fast and strong and can attack butterflies in the air.
You can fuse two captured bugs of the same species and star rating in the Army menu by tapping on the two you want to fuse. Fusion doesn’t always work and if it fails, you’ll lose one of the two bugs. If it works, you’ll get one bug with a star rating that is one star higher than the bugs it was fused into.
Another thing that helps when battling is buying Lavender and Chrysanthemum in the Honeydew shop. The Lavender grants you temporary invulnerability and the chrysanthemum stuns the enemy bugs temporarily. You can lengthen the duration of their effects through upgrading them in the Honeydew shop. These are must haves for later battles in the higher ranks.

Why thank you I was about to do the same, though you forgot to tell him to strategically attack and retreat against larger bugs. Saves you a lot of soldiers and overall time, but I guess he can Zerg Rush as he spends money on the gems lol

another thing, later in the game vinegaroons start to spawn. they're like bosses, and can kill your entire army in one attack if you arent careful. one attack they use their tail to swipe at your army. anything on the backside will be instantly killed. another attack, it charges at a random location, any ants touching the vinegaroon dies. and it's final attack is it makes a spray and turns around in a full circle, similar to the bombardier beetle but longer with far more range.
you have to very strategically attack and retreat against this, because you wont have enough food production to keep mass producing entire armies as you fight it
tips:
1 - garrison. the garrison button is next to your recruit button. it essentially summons an army to guard the location you choose and stays there. you can do whatever you want even if the garrison is activated. this is really good for guarding resources and cutting off red ants from them, plus you can use them as an extension to your army if you place them correctly
2 - that loop button will make it so your queen is constantly making more soldiers without you having to spam the breed button. makes things way faster
3 - if you gain enough workers, put all of them onto collecting food because this can heavily increase your soldier production, as you wont use any of the other resources as much, since they are generally only used for upgrades. this is very effective with a nursert
4 - before you actually start fighting real players, you should fight dr. zany. the button to fight him has his name on it, and is off to the left side. his fights generally scale with your army so that you always have a pretty big advantage. he only gives one pheromone at a time however, is very easy to fight.
5 - pheromones are used to summon bigger bugs, which are very essential because they can take more than one hit from other bugs. soldier ants are only able to take one hit, which makes them extremely vulnerable to aoe
6 - the quest tab is incredibly useful at early stages. it can give massive rewards like seeds, body parts, food, and leaves. in the daily quests tab, you can get stuff like honeydew and resin which can give permanent boosts once purchased

Get a bunch of Resin and Honeydew so you can buff yourself, army and workers. You can even get more soldier ants and make them tankier. Oh and set your defense for your offline battles under the battle tab and if you use your banner you can set it up as a point in between the path to help protect the aphids and the termites that come out from that crack at the entrance of the tree

The termite colony isn't invadable you just have to block them from their resin supply, so your workers can gather the resin(this is after you unlock resin storage)
The bees aren't exactly a thing you can fight, when you unlock resin you will be able to buy a 6 min buff that lets you be in the hive, and explore it
When attacking red ants you can use the flag in the bottom left to call 10 more soldier ants to a specific location, which you mark with it
Every Saturday and Sunday, A huge bug called a Vineagroon (sp?) spawns. If you kill it, You get 200+ body parts. It has 3 attacks which are easy to dodge by attacking and retreating. It spawns every 2 hours or you can spend gems to spawn it earlier.
If you do the daily quests, you get honeydew and resin. Plus, if you get enough resin, you can buy Bee essence from the resin shop and infiltrate the bee hive. ....I haven't personally succeeded doing so yet, so....I don't know what you do I in there other than die.

a hint:the butterfly literally can cure all creatures that are outside when she is outside and you need creatures so fight dr zanny and gain phromonies to spawn new creatures everytime every creature spawns needs three pheromonies

Day 52 of recommending "The Perfect Tower 2", it’s a semi-idle tower defense game, where you upgrade your tower, with a lot of things to do! p.s. you get to kill a lot of cubes, and if u grind to late game...well i wont ruin the surprise

On the bottom left there is a banner it is lick a marker for your Shoulder ant
Hey DF, in the bottom left corner beside the Recruit button is a little banner icon, if you click on that and then click anywhere else on the screen it will place a banner down that will bring 10 of your ants towards it to help you. They won't attack big bugs with you but they're helpful for protecting resources from ants and can be used offensively too. You can also summon a big bug using 50 gems in the Gem Shop, it's really annoying to kill those cause it has a lot of AOE and ranged attacks.
It gives like 50+ bug legs, you can't capture it though because it'd be too OP I guess
