How’s it going? Did you buy one? I got into gundam plastic models (gunpla) recently and it led me to an interest in air brushing 😂 just about to buy one myself
I'm actually new to cake decorating and airbrushing using food coloring. These are excellent technical tutorials for absolutely clueless newbies. Obviously I can not tape to the cake, but gives direction and ideas to work around it. Thank you!
Hey Carsten - Like I said before, you are an awesome video instructor. Keep up the great work and content. I highly recommend this channel to anyone who airbrushes no matter what skill level. My mantra is never stop learning... for those who don’t watch regularly, or are beginning are brushing, Carsten doesn’t use the airbrush cap. This is a great trick that allows you to get ultra fine lines, stippling and freehand textures, just to mention a few of the effects. But it does take practice to get used to working without a cap (not hitting something and damaging the needle tip is one thing) Watching these videos has convinced me to all but toss my air-caps in the bin... I still have a few caps I use... but not that many... thanks again!!!
This is the third video I've watched now. Dear God, THANK YOU. I'm wargamer hobbyist and your videos have been a great asset in using my airbrush properly. Most wargame painters don't include the details you have. So again, thanks man!
Just got my first airbrush after 25 years of being mad about them. (Had a hand pump cheap dual action trigger gun) Spent a couple days messing with it, with an understanding of how to use a spray gun. Nice to see these videos backing what I was 'figuring' out by trial and error! Thanks for the videos, subscribing, and if I stick with it, I'll definitely take your course!
I just watched this video for the first time and subscribed right away. It is extremely informative. I just purchased a new airbrush machine for makeup applications. I’ll be needing my second one right now to start practicing. Great video and many thanks for sharing!
I bought my first airbrush this past week and found your channel a few days later. I am loving what and how you are teaching. Now that our local country show is over( I was demonstrating wool spinning) I can get on with learning airbrushing. Thank you for your great teaching videos. Cheers mate.
I'm new to air brushing. And I needed a few quick tips. I have a double action and a single action airbrushes. The single action needs a few adapter pieces to use the same airline. My first use is that I'm trying to repair some parts I painted with a rattle can. There were hard to reach areas that had no coverage, and I'm hoping an airbrush will save me. If I put a heavy coat with the spray can, it would've caused runs and ruined my parts. But I'll practice a while until trying to fix my previous mistake.
I think the explanation is clear and the presenter also explains it clearly and calmly. Nor is it unpleasant to listen to. I'm going to see if I can airbrush cakes in a different way based on these videos. Thanks for posting
I hope you have a beginner's guide to cleaning this airbrush and mixing the paint to put it in the bowl I've never seen this done up personal it's always been videos so I'm completely new at this

First time viewer… first time airbrusher…videos are helpful so thank you… I am needing clarification on the “needles” portion. Are there more ,different types of needles that I need to buy. I also need to know how to clean my gun during and after use. I got a lot of questions so expect more to come. If you have some videos explaining more newbie tips , please point them out. Is there a chronological order to your videos?
Well i bought a simple airbrush set because i want to use it with chocolate. Thz for this video, maybe when i am more confidant i might do more with it.
I just ordered my first air brush system. I want to apply paint to some old yard art as a first attempt. What kind of paint should I purchase that will stand up to the strong sunshine of Florida? Can water based paints be used on metal objects. Any advice would be appreciated.
About to start airbrushing for my first time and will be doing a thicker glow paint that is amazing.. i know it needs to be thinned and i have that sorted but my question is, what tip would be best for this .5 or .3 .... or can be done with both easily if thinned properly and kept well stirred as i shoot the action figures? thank you to anyone for answering this.
I mentioned earlier in your tutorial video about me only having one hand I know you said get a double sprayer but I'm looking at the single sprayer and I'm wondering would that be better for me because I wouldn't have to hold and release the are the single one from me and my friend might be better do you think having one hand would be a much better tool for someone who might not be able to do both holding and spraying the same time
Hey Bud; really enjoyed your tutorial. Im going to be painting 28mm Historical miniatures. I splashed out on a Harder & Steenbeck Infinity, so i could attempt to do some fantastic effects on Horses etc. Ive been painting miniatures for over 30 years; im not even going to pretend im in your league as an Artist. You have fantastic control and clearly very talented. I am however going to attempt to replicate the exercises that you use in your tuts, hopefully it will give me some confidence to paint my miniatures. Im not game to start my own stuff until ive clocked up a few hours on paper etc.
I have a silly question. (Probably silly lol) I've been using spray paint to paint hunting gear but I'm ready to graduate to airbrush (I just bought one) My question is, can I still use a clear coat on too with spray paint? Once I'm done painting with the airbrush, it needs a protective coat, especially since the paint is water based. Would there be a weird interaction with the clear spray paint? Another question: using spray paint, there is always a base layer, let's say black. Can I still use spray paint for that or does it need to be with the airbrush paint? Thank you!! I've watched a lot of your videos, I think I'm ready to do this 😊

I used to have 6 airbrushing using, one with each colour. 4 with the main colours which I used to mix by overlaying them (including black), then 1 for white and the 6th one for certain colours that I can't mix on the fly. For the 6th one, I use multiple jars, depending on the colour.
