On my 44mm GW 7 I'm getting 2 days solid, AOD off, Wifi off, raise to wake on, Heart tracking manual, Sleep tracking on, half an hour workout. With power saving on I got almost 3 days, crazy.
Why do you need to wait for your battery to empty? You just have to pop it on the charger every day while you shower or something for 15-20min. It'll always stay in the healthy 20-80% and you'll never have to think about the battery.
Regardless, Apple and Samsung watches have terrible battery life compared to the competition...Ever since i started using Huawei watches, there has been no going back. We Shouldnt be sharging watches like phones.
Garmin watches are good with battery life however they really need to keep up with new UI, sensors, other smart watch like features. All eyes on new Fenix 8.
I heard that the first 3 days of watch usage, the battery life will be affected as the watch is learning your usage pattern. After the learning is done, battery life significantly improved. I think you should do another video after your watch has learnt your usage pattern and see if the battery life improved.
on watch: Settings - Google - Voice command "Ok google" - disable. And use only shortcut or press and hold button. I'm not sure if the settings names are exactly like this. I'm not use English.
Some are affected by a bug and Samsung acknowledged it. Software fix coming soon to fix affected models. Disable Google Assistant, it's also a massive battery drain!
I'm getting 2 days battery life, with 1.5hrs activity tracking, night sleep tracking, than 1.5hrs activity tracking next day . Have to charge in the evening 2nd day. No power saving mode. But i do turn of AOD. All rest of the stuff is active. No lte only Bluetooth
Rather good. My Ultra gets 2.5 days with Power saving on which is disappointing . Only downside of PS mode is no raise wrist to wake. Hope that can be given as an option in furture. It looks funny to press a button or tap the screen to make note of time.😂 Watch 7 is VFM looking at no significance to features on Ultra except top and bottom titanium. I purchased plain 7 for a family member.
Im getting 2.5 days without power saving! Idk what you're doing with it! I have AOD on, HR tracking every 10 mins, i sleep with it and track my workouts which lasts at least 1.5 hours. Raise to wake is a killer on battery since any movement can trick the watch into thinking you're rasing it! Turn off Google Assistant, it's a HUGE battery drain and it's not needed on your watch!
@1993rufus I ain't doing anything. PS on, HR continuous. Sleep with Spo2 but no temperature and snoring. No assistant and no exercises too. Still just meeting 2.5 days.
Even though I've not tested my GW 7 44mm LTE (not yet on a plan) as extensively as you have, right off the bat, I'm seeing much better battery life than expected. Certainly, as compared to my previous much-loved GW 4 40mm LTE. :D
My charger is next to my easy chair. I tend to charge uo my new 7 watch when it gets d own into the 89 % range. Charging the watch that 20% only takes a few minutes.
There is apparently an issue where the galaxy watch 7 has poor battery life due to software issues (reported by Samsung). They are working on an update from what I know of. I do not have this issue, thankfully. I recommend taking a look in the settings and see if you have any apps taking way too much energy and disabling them, from previous experience I had the google assistant drain the heck out of it, so i disabled it.
lol i have Redmi watch 3 , all health settings on, AOD is off. it take 10 days battery life.. yes i know it has not same health measurements, but 10 day vs 2 day .! 5x more. This watch 7 has need new update for bluetooth fix. maybe you can get 3 days.. maybe...
The Garmin Epix and Fenix series are far better but than this .I'm really feeling my Epix Pro. Sure, the battery life isn't quite as long as the Fenix series, but I still easily get 12 days on a single charge with the Always On Display turned on. And if I turn that off, I can stretch it to almost a month! The only thing the Samsung has over it is that you can reply to notifications and calls, but I can live without that. The Garmin gives me all the notifications and calls I need, and I can just send a quick preset reply if I need to. Overall, the Garmin is more than good enough for me.
Great content. On my watch 7ultra, I'm on mine 2nd full charge. Right now, since the last full charge, I have 2d 18h. My watch is at 23% with 18h 47 left. So when I have to charge it again, the final will be at 85 hrs. Which in days is 3.52. It's not bad, and it will get better over time. Now I do have power saving mode on. Limit health features on. And no AOD. This watch is a beast compared to my watch4 44mm. Oh and I forgot, I have the LTE version.
It won't make much of a difference.. I have been using these watches since the first iterations so I know what's sense and nonsense.. I will do a review after a month, 3 Months, 1 year as well..
Gamin is totally different from smartwatch focused watch. If u want just the activity tracking Garmin is best hands down. But if you want best smartwatch features and good activity tracking, ultra is the way to go. I will not recommend 4 or 5. But 7 series is good.

@veerjain6261 yup i had the same doubt. The sensors are far better in garmin chimpanzee to any smart watches. The build quality is also higher I think.

I'm satisfied with the battery life 2 days. I'm tweaking now to get 30 hours with no GPS work outs and 24 hours with GPS workout.
Hello, google assistant is consuming lot of battery on my watch 7 even without any use. What to do ?
