Excellent video. I saw the after action presser the FDNY posted. It alsmost sounded like the chief was begging for stronger laws. I would not be opposed to outlawing them completely. Musk may not agree but I say too bad.
Outstanding footage Skylar. I see those darn batteries are causing a fire yet again. It's a shame that the store was destroyed by the fire 🔥. I hope you have a fantastic day my friend, and stay safe ❤️🙂⚘️🚒👨🚒.
There are actually a lot of lawsuits in progress. It takes time. Believe it or not the insurance companies are actually taking the lead aggressively in going after these battery manufacturers since they’re the ones paying for all the damage.
@@jessecohen3634 it’s a ebike store. You can’t control what people have in their own house. It takes one battery that could have been bad to make all the batteries go bad. Lithium Ion Batteries are in everything. If you use a cheap cord or it gets exposed to heat or too much water it can cause a battery to fail. Thats phones, bikes, tablets a lot of things
If NYC can make it legal to charge people just for driving into the city it seems like legislation to regulate the bikes & batteries for safety reasons should take a mere stroke of the pen. Statistically, there've been enough fatalities to garner support. I just read my own comment and realized that the same people in favor of the traffic tax are the same people that want "clean energy" e-bikes everywhere in the city. Nevermind.

Thanks for watching and stay safe yourself!
When are they going to go after the manufacturers of these lithium batteries? How many fires in NY involved Lithium batteries?
Nothing will happen until there is a major fire where lives are lost unfortunately Robert. They need to ban them. I hope you have a great day 🙂⚘️.

Just shows how violent these batteries can be.
For sure imagine if that was in a bedroom.
Awful things! Nice catch Skyler
Thanks for watching
hey skyler cool videos and have more to come
Thanks
nice work Skyler 👍.......time to ban E-bikes 🤔
Will never happen sadly
What surprises me is that any major city allows these bikes and batteries to be kept inside.

Cell Block Ex which is used to over pack all lithium ion batteries
