Yup rejetting that would help, and that is not a 250cc its actually like 225cc - honda crf230 clone engine. Very reliable. Take it to the MX track won't make the rough stuff, putting around with your buddies it is great for.
I wouldn't take any of the Trailmaster bikes to an MX track. Even the TM38, not without suspension mods and better wheels. Even then, so much frame flex. Perfectly fine for ripping through the woods though.

New kpx250 has the new 250cc but is fuel injected. Cost 3k
@@cglizzy9352 you can mount a CBS300 liquid cooled OHC engine onto tje Templar frame, the motor mounts are almost exactly the same. Those make 28hp and weigh 4lbs less than the ZS172FMM engine the Templar comes with.
