I have the rfz250. Same engine and a nibbi pe28. I was running a 45/130 lowered it to 40/125 middle needle position. Still seems rich on the plug but bogs sometimes and souns lean. It's really weird. Let me know if you find the right mixture of jets!
@@jehereticsmotos I raised the needle up the other day to the 4th clip position that helped a lot. So my midrange was lean, and my main circuit is slightly lean too I think, my pilot circuit was rich with a 40 so I lowered it to a 38 now no low end bog or midrange. but it's still pretty cold so in the summer it should be perfect. It bogs in the stand if I crack it open wicked fast, but doesn't bog at all under load while riding so I think I got it dialed in. Close enough for me at least.

Good throttle response on the low end, but I'm actually running a 117 main now and it responds super fast on full throttle, and the bike doesn't take as long to spin up to revs. I'm in Ohio about 600ft. I'm gonna have a to reevaluate this summer when I can find a long straight to do a plug chop. Glad you got that thing ripping brother!
Maybe, don't expect to find fork seals for the front shocks, I just tried this bike after a year cause the shocks seals are leaking and they don't sell them separate. $161 per shock and they are junk to begin with
Depends on your elevation, and I'm not really the one to ask, I'm not good at getting carbs tuned, it's got 120 45 and running rich, I'm thinking I should go smaller on the pilot size
@@jehereticsmotos My elevation is just about 100ft.😅(Caribbean) I'll test the 110 and the 112 to see how it runs, it runs real bad on the stock jet. Lots of black smoke.
Go to a heavier fork oil, and or make a longer spacer with a peice of pvc pipe. 😊 Hope this helps also put a PKW 30mm carb 🎉

Go up on your pilot one. Or adjust the fuel screw on the carb a quarter turn at a time and see if it helps. If it’s popping, it’s too lean.

140 main and a 40 pilot and it rips I think I could go with a 145 or a 150 Main

How did you get the idle to go up higher?
I just bought a 28mm carb. What jets size is your jets? A guy recommended me 110. But I only found 112 at the local shop.

Just get a nibbi carb and you’ll be fine and lock tight all the bolts
It wasn't the carburetor it was the jetting I got it up to a 140 main and a 40 pilot and it is running like a raped you know what
