    The Mitsubisi Evo is a huge car within car culture and the Evo 6 was a great looking car both as a passenger car and as a race car, doing well as a Rally Car. Tamiya has created a faithful representation of the Evo 6 that is a great kit for the beginner modeler as it goes together so nice and clean. More advanced modelers will find this kit to be a great base for modification to create their own version of this amazing car. Follow along as we build the Mitsubishi Evo 6 by Tamiya from the ground up.

    Love the video and end product looks awesome. That song at the start almost made me think I was watching an old TSMC video. I've also got this kit in my stash and am looking forward to giving it a crack

      Haha yeah, I remember when Tom was using Vibe Tracks for most of his videos also. I think it brings a touch of nostalgia to me as well when I hear some of these songs.
      As for the kit, it is an amazing build. Tamiya does some really great what I would consider beginner kits that have a lower cost, go together so well, have tons of customizing potential and are great subject matter and this is one of those kits in my opinion. Totally worth the build, I think you will enjoy it.

      @@ScaleAutoGarage yeh I built a WRC Evo 7 from tamiya as a first kit and went together really well. Wish I could find another one to do a better job in painting and decalling but its out of production. I'm coming off a Revell Audi R8 and well lets say it never saw completion and found its way to the bin. Absolute nightmare of a kit. Currently working on a Academy F/A-18D in 1/72 and in the final stages of a Zvezda 1/144 Boeing 777-300er Air New Zealand. Once I finish the air NZ I will probably start a Tamiya car

      Hey, I hope you did well with your S13. This kit is worth the build for sure, if you get the chance. It goes together so nicely and builds up to a great model.

    And for the grilles, do I need to cut the fabric that comes with it myself?

    • @ScaleAutoGarage
      @ScaleAutoGarage  5 місяців тому

      Yes the fabric that comes in the kit needs to be cut. The instructions will show you how to cut it and what shape.

    Do I paint the colors of the turn signals and lights or does it come with a sticker?

    • @ScaleAutoGarage
      @ScaleAutoGarage  5 місяців тому

      The clear parts need to be painted with a clear orange and a clear red.

    What’s the dust?

    • @ScaleAutoGarage
      @ScaleAutoGarage  8 місяців тому +1

      If you are refering to the carpet, it is embosing powder. You can also get flocking that can give a softer look to the carpets.

    Do you get tools with the kit? If not what tools do i need too buy for jt

    • @ScaleAutoGarage
      @ScaleAutoGarage  7 місяців тому

      No tools come with the kit but for basic tools, I would suggest a hobby knife, a pair of cutters, hobby glue and paints as required. You can use spray cans or brush paints, depending on your preference but the kit does not come with any of these. Hope that helps.

    how do I stick the stickers

    • @ScaleAutoGarage
      @ScaleAutoGarage  5 місяців тому

      They are not stickers that come with the kit but decals. You would cut out the decal you want to place, put it with the paper backing into some warm water and then take it out and place it on the table for 3 to 5 min. After this time you will notice the decal can be removed from the paper backing. You can move the decal around with tweezers or your finger tip but be careful as it is quite delicate. The decal needs to be wet to be able to be moved around. Squeeze out water from under the decal using a moist cotton bud and let it dry. There are many good tutorials on UA-cam, just do a search on how to use decals on a scale model. They work the same if it is a car, a plane or a tank. Hope that helps.
