@@caseys_cozy_garage crawlers definitely can be fun, but for me the TT02 was the car I always wanted as a kid but never got so I think that and seeing some videos recently of it had me sold
Increased steering angle really helps these, plenty of upgrades available too. Just be aware you may need some universal jointed driveshafts up front or the originals tend to fall out. Great job on the evo, one of my favourates!! You made a nice job of the bodywork, great to see more ladies getting into the hobby :)
They are "usable" and actually more historically accurate to retro tamiya. They might even be more water/mud resistant. BUT they will heat your motor more and drain your battery faster than real ball bearings. The car won't "glide" as far
I threw away the can, but I think it's tamiya yellow that's 5 coats (i found on the shelf at a hobby shop) then it's backed in lexan chrome that I had sitting around from another build
I’ve been trying to figure out what Tamiya kit I want as my first kit and I think you might have sold me on the TT02
Yeah it's awesome! Very simple. I would say..... a crawler would be able to drive more places but this kit was super lovely

What color or livery are you gonna do?
those doors behind your table look like they're really good for catching fallen parts
Yeah it would be. As of today I haven't thrown a part back there yet!!
Awesome reaction to the paint
Yeah that paint color is fantastic
I really should have done mine yellow great colour choice
Oh yes the yellow is fabulous
Sound system would be fun
Oh that would be legit! Go full fast and furious style
GT2000 music starts playing.
That nostalgia
Looks awesome. Nice job.
Thanks! I loved building it
I think you should upgrade the steering angle
Are there kits for this? I need to look into it

What kind of yellow and silver did you use? It looks nice
I used tamiya yellow, and then I used "chrome" lexan paint I forgot the brand
Is the stock bearings usable? I haven’t gotten the electronics installed yet but I have already assembled the chassis,

Never build a tamiya kit on standard plastic bearings just leave it in the box until you sort the real ones.
@@cutterbacon I agree
I got replacements
@@venteach.6289 I believe the tt02 drift kit has proper bearings included.
What is the color?
