    That is one amazing build, I really love the way you did the seatbelts and how you painted and detailed the entire body with spray cans. I have built the wrc version and I think it’s a fantastic kit. I’m Glad you chose the hasegawa one over the fujimi one as the fujimi one has terrible accuracy issues.

    • @JHHobby
      @JHHobby  4 роки тому +1

      thanks man! glad you like it, is fujimi that bad? haha.. because this kit is also kinda cheap out on details..but overall still good kit to make

    • @ridelegend8997
      @ridelegend8997 4 роки тому +1

      JH-Hobby Bad is an understatement, the fujimi Evo 3 is just horrible, it’s body proportions are wrong, the pillars are completely wrongly shaped, the rear is completely inaccurate and the interior is an evo 5/6 one which is different from the evo 3. This hasegawa Evo iii has excellent proportions and has details that are million times better!

    • @JHHobby
      @JHHobby  4 роки тому +1

      @@ridelegend8997 haha omg that's really bad! luckily i picked this hasegawa..almost bought the fujimi hahaha

    Can anyone answer this for me. Why are model cars scale size different than rc cars? I have a 1/24 scale evo 2 rally model from Hasegawa. I wanted to put the body on a 1/24 scale rc I have but the body is much smaller. I have 1/24 scale die cast and it’s the same as the rc car. So what’s really going on here? Lol

    Brilliantly done what masking tape do you use as I used some from Halfords and it bled under the tape but looked well stuck down on the edges how do you get to make the door margins (gaps) to stand out do you use a felt tipped

    • @JHHobby
      @JHHobby  4 роки тому +1

      hi, thanks! normally i use Tamiya or Mr.hobby masking tape, for this built my trims is abit messed up too because the clear coat i use this time is different and it does not work well with my masking tape..causing the masking tape glue stick on the body and some paint bleed in the body..had to do some touchup

    Tip:DO NOT USE MEGUAIRS CONPOUND BECAUSE IT WILL TAKE A LONG TIME TO POLISH BECAUSE SMOOTH SCRATCHES CAN STILL APPEAR AFTER POLISHING I PREFER TAMIYA POLISHING COMPOUND EVEN IT'S EXPENSIVE BUT THE RESULT WILL BE THE BEST!!

    • @JHHobby
      @JHHobby  4 роки тому

      lol i used tamiya compound before..its slow and not as effective as automotive compound..many builders had the same issues too. i dont find any problem using meguairs compound at all and the sanding marks dont show even after a year !
