Here is my take: this is a hobby, collect the way you like. Do I tell you what kind of shoes, cars, clothes, etc to buy? No, same with those that collect. You may enjoy collecting govt issued bullion, thats fine. I collect slabbed world crowns. We all like different things, main thing is to have fun and enjoy. You seem too have fun with this and thats the important thing.
Mike K couldn’t agree more. That’s the thing with some people is they forget to have fun with it and collect what they like. They get to tied up into what other people think or the opinions of others and base their purchases on that. They doing it wrong

I buy 70 's but if I like a coin I'll buy it as long as its slabbed no matter the grade.
It's not worth it to accumulate slabbed modern bullion or proofs. Almost all modern coins will grade 69 or 70. Keep in mind, these modern coins don't circulate. A "limited mintage" is meaningless if the coin never circulated. 5000+ coins in MS70 grade is not rare. It's only worth it to grade classic US coins that circulated in commerce.

MrMonkeySwag96 I know a lot who would agree with you. Some say that modern graded coins/bullion is just a scam and a way to get into peoples pockets. The way I look at it is at least you get people stacking and interested in the hobby. Most pay a pretty high premium so it sucks for them but most will slowly learn from the mistakes they make when buying these types of coins
@@AgStacking we all make purchases with silver we know we shouldn't lol.....( emotional purchase) then later try and and justify it was logic haha
