- This is still Day 1, 9/22/2022 of the Fall Back the Byday meet at the Daniel Boone Back Country Byway #DBBB in the Red River Gorge. I separated this trail, Old Fincastle rd. out from the rest of the ride since it was a rougher trail, still a moderate trail and still led by @Tyler Martin of Geahr Offroad. Sponsored by Southern 4wd assoc. and Dan Cummins Offroad among others. #dbbb #redrivergorge

Thank you very much!
First time up there in a stock 4runner had to turn back. Looking forward to going back with some lift and 255/80’s
If you've watched many of my Old Fincastle videos, longer vehicles need more tire and lift to get directly over the rock. However a mild lift and tires can get over it by going off camber and placing the passenger tires just on the rock. My Jeep TJ has a 3.25in lift on 33 inch tires and a Barnes 4wd skid plate that gets me another 1.5 inches of belly clearance. I clear it about 3-4inches. Good luck, if you are in the area message the Facebook page and we'll try to get you through it!
