Thank you Jon and Marcus for putting out these amazing vlogs every single day! I love what you guys are doing and y'all certainly have your own unique touch to your vlogs! You've definitely have inspired me greatly to improve my content and keep on creating, and I really appreciate that! Cheers from Singapore :)
Drone Flying in Bali: You are allowed to fly, but not higher than 150 Meters, if you fly higher and get caught you might go to jail! btw Guys here is a Quick Drone Tip for you! Go to your Settings and set the Home Point to the Symbol with the Person and GPS, that Way, you dont have to click the refresh button all the time and the Copter always comes to your Phones GPS!
You guys! This has got to be one of the best ever vlog starts, literally been bent double laughing. Forgetting the key then the door opening, then the other locker door opening, but the best bit ...putting stuff you don't want from your locker into some other random locker (at 3:20) - Fantastic ... keep up the great work.
I have not laughed this much for a long time. You forgot the Key, you got the key, didn't need the key beceause the door opened hilariously by the poking the key then you proceed to sit down to have support of the door behind you but that one is open aswell, then the lights go out. THIS MADE MY DAY. Thank you!
Took my Phantom 4 to Bali about a month ago. No problem whats so ever. Locals are much more interested in what the drone is than any regulations. I would just recommend not flying over any sacred temples if you go and visit. Hope that helps!
The thing I really like about timelaps is that you get an idea of the place where you are, I sometimes miss some surrounding views during the vlogs! I really love the the quality of your movies and also the content! Have a nice trip in bali!
well thats kinda true, but i think red bull sponsoring him and giving them some kind of awareness in his vlogs is also one of many reasons we get to see these amazing vlogs every day :)
I really enjoy watching your videos. It's just like living the life and daily routine with a camera. Fun comes out naturally just like your ideas so maybe that's the difference between your vlog to others. Good job! Keep it up man.
For the drone regulations in bali: Do not fly higher than 150 meters without a permit. Do not fly over people, crowds or gatherings. Only fly during daylight hours and in good weather. Do not fly your drone near airports or in any area, aircraft are operating. Make sure not to publish any commercial content without the written consent of the persons in the picture. Well that's at least what I could find :D hope that helps! And everyone have a great day!!!
Amazing editing flow in this one! Like how you started using only one song as kind of a soundtrack throughout the vlog episodes. Carries the same vibe from first to last frame. 👌🏻
The only two vlogs I watch regularly is yours and caseys, both are so different in every way, lifestyle, edit, content etc. . .. Keep doing what you do!! Good stuff!!
Well guys, your vlogs are the only ones that haven't become boring for me to watch entirely and daily, and that has to mean something, right? You have your own essence, making a video YOUR vlog and I personally love it! So you shouldn't worry about copying or using "someone's" technique, because no one owns it. The heart of the matter is the way you use those techniques for creating the final vlog, and that, only depends on YOU. By the way, I got into your vlogs after reading many comments in Casey's vlogs that highly recomended yours. I wish you guys the best on your UA-cam future and just let you know that you have all the support from us!!!
For reference these storage rooms are rented for a couple hundred Euro every month but we're difficult to get in your own apartment building unless several units are for sale at least when I was looking for one.
My opinion to the thing about vlogging in french. Maybe, whenever you are in a different country than Spain and Monaco you could say a few sentences in thats country's official language. You could start with Bali, where as you know a lot of languages are spoken but mainly Indonesian(=official language) and Balinese. So I suggest, if there is more than one "main" language, you should do just one language n a single vlog and the other language(-s) in following vlogs, but just one foreign language per vlog. Maybe just 10-20seconds in the foreign language so it wouldn't be to long. That must be it! Keep up your good work, enjoying your vlogs since day one
Yeah I think that is a good idea and your wil learn a few basic sentences of a foreign language. As I know, a active comment section is very nice, maybe we could discuss, what Jon just said in the foreign language, of course this only works, if Jon doesn't translate it or u pause the Video for ur guess(-es). :D of course your comment section is already very active, but maybe someone like me or +Luis Kremer could write a comment in every vlog ( where you speek in a new language) and under that comment the community could discuss and guess what you have said. So all in all, I think this is a great idea. Greetings from Germany
Yeah, Thanks for your suggestion and answer! And maybe Jon could solve in the next vlog, what he said in the vlog from the day before in the foreign language. Luis:D
Casey is an actor he acts during his whole vlogs if you meet him in real you will see he's a complete different person, you on the other hand film your journey the way it is no staging no acting which i'm sure many people will appreciate more.
+Paul H. Exactly. Get your facts straight Shadola. How can Casey be acting all the time, if he's traveling across the country with his son -_- he's just as real as Jon and Marcus are
I live in Indonesia and went to bali quite often. i also fly the phantom 4. as far as i know, theres no actual rules yet about drone flight. the only limitation that im aware of is in some places (private hotel, private beach, etc) youre not allowed to bring your drone regarding the guest privacy, but other than that, i dont think you'll have any problem. Cherrs !!
Very worried about the Leica balancing on the handrail at the end of the video! Good quality stuff tho guys, also I've noticed when coming out of timelapses the music dropping off is quite sudden, maybe a smoother transition?
Your vlog and passion are great! Have a nice flight to Bali. My flight is in 3 days to Bali. I like to meet people as you. Passion for skiing and thinks that you like to do
It's of course subjective, but a fairly common way of tuning time lapse in daylight is to use a ND-filter (sv. gråfilter) which acts as a kind of sunglasses for the camera. That way you can use longer exposure time in bright light. This will make the cars in the image look a bit more blurred - which typically is preferable when shooting time lapse of fast moving objects. Otherwise you will just see cars popping in and out but looking standstill. Just a thing to try out. Love the quality on the blog!
Hi Jon, here is my suggestion for the comment of the day: Do you realize that you had a fan community who read your blogs, saw your photographs and knew your carreer/life already before you started the youtube thing? Maybe a little shoutout for these people would be great! Keep it up!
Jon, a tip! You're a very neat person. I'm surprised you have not in your storage shelves to place your belongings. Surfboards and other objects. In my opinion you could put much more. A greeting and congratulations on your channel.
Marcus, well done with the editing. I have one question for you. How long time did it take to edit 5:03-5:26? :) Like the shots cut and put together. Cheers!
Your Vlog is much better than Caysey's, I think that besides shooting or editing is what you feel watching it, and I guess that everybody will agree with me, your Vlog brings a smile to everybody, your positive mind, as well as Janni, and you don't feel that watching Caysey's Vlog or videos.
Jon, you have to visit Lombok and Flores (Indonesia) too, I think it has more beautiful beach and scenery. And maybe you can fly the drone anytime you want. Have a great holiday!
In some places on Bali it is prohibited to fly drones. Especially at temples and other crowded places. On the quiet beaches however I think it will be no problem. But since I don't have a drone myself I don't know it all for sure. I got back from Bali yesterday and there were no-drone signs at the big tourist atractions for sure
Great Video! outside of busy areas you are allowed to drone below 150 m. I droned Bali in Feb. & they told me at customs I couldn't fly it at all but was later told that's not true. I'm crossing into Bali today so here's hoping we don't run into trouble filming this time around. So far the only trouble we have had is with our tripod being "too big for Taipei" ... who knew that could be a thing lol
Went to Bali a couple months ago. Most hotels have a strict policy about flying drones on their property. Most of them do not allow that for the privacy of the guests. You can fly the drone on public beaches. Had no problem flying it in Kota Denpasar, so you should be good on that.
Did you see their crap in there?! You're doing the neighbors a favor if you leave the door open and somebody would take it all away. That looked like pretty low-grade stuff for Monaco.
haha its true i love both yours and caseys channel, idk why i think you two are similar tho. you 2 do different things yes, but i guess its the vibe! just that one is NYC version, et l'autre est la version monaco!
Snälla svara!! jag är riktigt stort fan, kolla på alla dina videos och tycker att din kanal är en av dem bästa kanal jag kollat på! Riktigt fetta kvalitet på alla dina video! fortsätta så!
I love Casey, and for sure he has popularised a ton of shooting methods like crash focusing, and timelapses. But it does get frustrating when people think he invented them. So keep on with the timelapses Jon!
Jon i'm from indonesia and bali is great and all but its SUPER crowded as you may already know, and if you have a chance you should try going to Gili trawangan in Lombok or even better, Raja Ampat!! to me theyre so much better because you get more peace and quiet since not too many people go there yet and the water is remarkable. Theyre cheaper there too!! but if youre just in bali you should try hiking mount Batur for the sunrise and then going to the Batur natural hot springs afterwards so bring your swimming attire, oh! and you should try the acai bowls at Nalu Bowls in Seminyak, if you havent already tried ofcourse. Have a great time in bali you guys!!
I think in Bali you cannot fly the drone higher than 150m and as long as you do not publish pictures of other people for commercial proposes, it will not be punishable.
QUESTIONS: Where do you see yourself in 20 years? What is your goal in life? If you can life anywhere in the world, where would it be? Will there be ski vlogs this winter? Have you ever had a car crash? Are you going to a Formula 1 game in the future?(beside Monaco) WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO PROPOSE TO JANNI??? Jon and Marcus you guys are amazing! Keep up the good work!!
I am a New Yorker but I have to say that your vlogs are more fun than Casey's! To be living in Monaco is my dream. Been there once and absolutely felt in love. Where you live is fantastic. Ate some delicious escargot with some cold refreshing rosê at a spot by the "rocky" beach near your apt. Unforgettable!
Inspiring, motivational, full of positive energy! Travel is the only thing you buy, that makes you richer... So after watching this video, we bought tickets to Maldives:-)) Have a save flight, Jun!:-)
My boyfriend and I watch both yours, and Casey's videos daily. Nothing against Casey at all, his work is amazing - but we honestly do prefer to watch your videos. We find that even as New Yorkers who can relate to Caseys daily life, we enjoy watching your blogs to see different parts of the world, and the adventures that you go on and you show what really happens during your day not something that is scripted. You show more footage, and don't talk for long periods which we find more enjoyable to watch. Enjoy Bali!
Got nostalgic today so I watched the first 50 vlogs again! I must say that you guys really progressed, I love you vlogs, my daily dose feelgood! Hope you keep up you 365 days vlog goal, cause you already kill the game! And Btw, how can I get a Douchebags t-shirt?
In a previous vlog you said you came from not much and basically created your wealth, I respect that so much, you seem to appreciate things more than if they were just handed to you. What job/hobby is it that you do now? Would be inspiring to know how you did it mate
Hi jon, I have a question are you making time lapse by taking pictures or making a video ? Thanks I'm there from the Vlog #10 and I'm still excited to discover your content everyday 😊
can u please do a complete review of the Leica Q and also its ability to shoot video .... cheers very inspirational story to begin the blog yesterday about your humble beginnings, never forget your roots and the people who helped you when you had nothing , and stay grounded . you guys are absolutely killing the vlogging game right now, amazing content. the irony is casey also spoke about his time with owen and how he grew up with him and stuff in his blog couple of days back which was very emotional and even your blog yesterday was on the same level. i know you get a few thousand comments everyday , but i have been following you since you had about 35k viewers, so would appreciate if i could get a response. take care Jon , Marcus and Janni , wish you guys a pleasant flight and loads of success.... until next time ..... Vishwas ( your fan from India )......
Good job as usual! Just a question, will you stick ruffly to your old travel plans from your earlier vlog? The one where you had a map over the world and you could see like the next year's travel plans?
I use to watch mrbenbrown and casey neistat vlog. But now, eversince u appeared, u seems to be the only vlogger i watch everyday! Your vlog are unique man, keep it up Jon and Marcus. Trust me, you are going to be huge on youtube soon ;)
Thank you Jon and Marcus for putting out these amazing vlogs every single day! I love what you guys are doing and y'all certainly have your own unique touch to your vlogs! You've definitely have inspired me greatly to improve my content and keep on creating, and I really appreciate that!
Cheers from Singapore :)
they're coming to your country soon :)
cant wait to see that i heard great things about Singapore

Nice tips man! Do you like cookies?
Amazing tip I want to take my phantom out on a boat here in Miami Beach and I was worried about where the drone would return home :)
Musste ja ein deutscher sein wenn es um Regulierungen geht ;)
Probs gehen raus :)
I love Marcus and Jon they seem so cool together like they've been friends forever
You guys! This has got to be one of the best ever vlog starts, literally been bent double laughing. I like that he don`t do this vlogs for fame or money. He does it for the memories.
well thats kinda true, but i think red bull sponsoring him and giving them some kind of awareness in his vlogs is also one of many reasons we get to see these amazing vlogs every day :)
Because he already has the fame and the money lmao but all jokes aside Jon and Marcus are doing somr incredible work
I really enjoy watching your videos. It's just like living the life and daily routine with a camera. Fun comes out naturally just like your ideas so maybe that's the difference between your vlog to others. Good job! Keep it up man.

Everyday I look forward for your vlog. Amazing quality. I enjoy every minute of it. Love from Bulgaria and have a fun trip !
You forgot to close the other door 😂
Hi Andrei 😉
how you know? he cut the video before he left the room
Hola people :)
The unlocked doors prove nobody wants to steal that junk. Plus, it's Monaco and people are too rich to steal Jon's old race trophy or a crappy chair.
+Callie Masters Privacy
I enjoy your vlogs more than Casey's
I think we all do!
I don't. Not saying Jon's is in any way bad, but you know.
2 different styles..
Agree paul, 2 different styles so i enjoy them in different ways :)
K
The last days I watched all your vlogs, love it.And I like it that you look that allways is a good quality. Greets from Germany
I really enjoy both Jon's (and Marcus's) and Casey's vlogs. But to be honest, i would click faster on a Jon Olsson vlog.
It's way to hard not to!
Jon's girl is more fun than Casey's girl. (I'm talking about Marcus here - just kidding! ...Or am I?)
+Callie Masters Casey's girl is much more interesting and smarter!
I always watch casey first and watch Jon after it because lately casey's vlogs tend to suck and I like to watch something good in the end :)
Woke up at 5am our time here just to watch your vlog, clearly you have me addicted! Haha greetings and best wishes from Canada
For reference these storage rooms are rented for a couple hundred Euro every month but we're difficult to get in your own apartment building unless several units are for sale at least when I was looking for one.
AHAHA that last bit though! Love it!

Casey is an actor he acts during his whole vlogs if you meet him in real you will see he's a complete different person, you on the other hand film your journey the way it is no staging no acting which i'm sure many people will appreciate more.
e.g always wearing glases in his videos and not when camera is off
+Tll He wears glasses because he's always looking at the LCD screen and not into the camera.
+Paul H. Exactly. Get your facts straight Shadola. How can Casey be acting all the time, if he's traveling across the country with his son -_- he's just as real as Jon and Marcus are
Igor Slang i said he's acting because he's not himself in front of the camera
+MrShadola so how do you know? Are you his closest friend or smth?
I live in Indonesia and went to bali quite often. i also fly the phantom 4. as far as i know, theres no actual rules yet about drone flight. the only limitation that im aware of is in some places (private hotel, private beach, etc) youre not allowed to bring your drone regarding the guest privacy, but other than that, i dont think you'll have any problem.

Wow cool...@ 7:04 I see you have simian creases on both hands! My daughter has it on just one hand. Have you ever had your palms read?
Jon you all have the best vlog. you are all interesting and i like that you guys show day to day set backs happen to everyone.
Jon, Marcus and Janni a good team so great content follows .
If Jon's apartment building burns down, we'll know it's because he put his laundry in the oven instead of the laundry machine
Very worried about the Leica balancing on the handrail at the end of the video! Good quality stuff tho guys, also I've noticed when coming out of timelapses the music dropping off is quite sudden, maybe a smoother transition?
nice vlog as always Jon! keep vloging because you're amazing :D
Hi Jon, here is my suggestion for the comment of the day:
Do you realize that you had a fan community who read your blogs, saw your photographs and knew your carreer/life already before you started the youtube thing?
Maybe a little shoutout for these people would be great!
Keep it up!
5:00 the grocery shopping sequence was really good!
Flying drones in Bali is one of the best thing you can do, so beautiful
Cheers!
Kom igen nu Jon! Det är dags att träna stenhårt inför Mästarnas mästare!!! Hejar på dig!
Have a great holiday!
that lamp looked perfect for video lighting. You should try it out.
That music during the time lapse is on point !
I love both your styles but I LOVE that you have your own style
Having Marcus there is like having a baby? Except that he can eat Ice Cream EVERY day...
Only your brilliant editing can make emptying a storage room so awesome to watch 😂
Hahaha so funny when the door was open!
Keep it up Jon and Marcus :D
Went to Bali a couple months ago. Most hotels have a strict policy about flying drones on their property. Most of them do not allow that for the privacy of the guests.
You can fly the drone on public beaches. Had no problem flying it in Kota Denpasar, so you should be good on that.
Enjoy each and every vlog of yours.
Marcus for President!!!!!
of what? The Maxibon Republic?
I FreaKING LOVE THIS VLOG and the work Marcus and you are doing! keep going
Thank you for addressing the Jon vs Casey vlogs non issue. I can't understand why people get so polarized over this.
Finally someone explain that other people do time lapse to..hiuu... haha. Awesome video, and love it that you guys are not yet an ambulant commercial!
You totally left your neighbours storage door open that you accidentally try opened!
He Said he will pick up the surf boards later soo he prob saw the other door open... Thats whats i think...
He cut the video before so how do you know ?
Did you see their crap in there?! You're doing the neighbors a favor if you leave the door open and somebody would take it all away. That looked like pretty low-grade stuff for Monaco.
+Callie Masters Privacy
Of course he did. He is Jon Olsson, he forgets everything.
For timelapses use a longer shutter speed which will blur motion and will look more natural and not studdery.
I went in Indonaisia 2 weeks ago and I saw a lot of drones in Java and also in Bali.
haha its true i love both yours and caseys channel, idk why i think you two are similar tho. you 2 do different things yes, but i guess its the vibe! just that one is NYC version, et l'autre est la version monaco!
Te aplaudo por tu humildad Jon!!!
Funny end of the vlog hahah For sure your´s and Casey´s are my 2 best. Who cares which is better? Let´s enjoy both!!
Snälla svara!! jag är riktigt stort fan, kolla på alla dina videos och tycker att din kanal är en av dem bästa kanal jag kollat på! Riktigt fetta kvalitet på alla dina video! fortsätta så!
That music was so fresh, great finding!
I love Casey, and for sure he has popularised a ton of shooting methods like crash focusing, and timelapses. But it does get frustrating when people think he invented them. So keep on with the timelapses Jon!
your vlogs are apart of my daily routine 💕
You can actually use an egg clock timer for the timelapse, cheap and very effective :D
I love your vlogs! you are in my top 3!!
Jon i'm from indonesia and bali is great and all but its SUPER crowded as you may already know, and if you have a chance you should try going to Gili trawangan in Lombok or even better, Raja Ampat!! to me theyre so much better because you get more peace and quiet since not too many people go there yet and the water is remarkable. the irony is casey also spoke about his time with owen and how he grew up with him and stuff in his blog couple of days back which was very emotional and even your blog yesterday was on the same level.
i know you get a few thousand comments everyday , but i have been following you since you had about 35k viewers, so would appreciate if i could get a response. take care Jon , Marcus and Janni , wish you guys a pleasant flight and loads of success....
until next time ..... Vishwas ( your fan from India )......
Love Love Love you, Marcus and Janny!!! I live in Ukraine and i love to watch how normal people live their normal lives!
The storage room next door will love the metal drawer you gave them, so kind of you - or did you just forget it?
I've been waiting all day for this!!! (Half of the day ;D)
Team overkills drone footage is way better than cases drone skills I think! But they're both awesome original vloggers!
The autofocus tracking on that Leica Q is SO good. How does the audio sound in windy condition? Any upgrades planned for it?
Good job as usual! Just a question, will you stick ruffly to your old travel plans from your earlier vlog? The one where you had a map over the world and you could see like the next year's travel plans?
If you read this - have an AMAZING weekend and enjoy the sun!
- Love the editing on this video - top notch quality and editing
Great edit today Marcus and Jon!
Salami and Nutella is delicious as well!
