I've had my de22 pro since January of 2021. It was my first "real" drone. In my opinion it is an excellent beginner drone packed with a ton of great features for the price. I would like to upgrade to a dji at some point but I really can't say anything bad about this drone. This video makes me want to pit up a long term review on my channel!
Hi, I just came across your channel and i of course did subscribe. Im wondering if you know why i all the sudden can't pair my drone? If won't even show up when I scan wifi! Thanks in advance, Dean.
Thanks for reaching out! I've only had that happen a couple of times after a hard landing (not on the DE22 drone) seems something is delicate with the wifi connection. You may want to try a different device too as I've had security updates break my connections and other things time to time as well. Other than that not sure what to suggest, sad to say, may be simply broken... Hope this helps!
MJX B16, Holystone, Flyhal and EXO - they're all the same drone just badge engineering, all the apps same M RC PRO ( under different names )all batteries, props, spares etc all interchangeable, so if you fancy one go for the best deal.
Lots of look-alikes in this market for sure. There's a really interesting reason for that, the next video is an interview where the CEO talks about the industry... coming soon!
If I'm not mistaken, this drone is from three (3) different companies? It's this company, and holy stone, and the last one I believe is called Evo? Something like that. Either way, I think it's a good drone for beginners. Maybe not, because it tends to move on it's own a lot. The camera on it is fantastic. I do like how stable the video looks, and I do like the brushless motors? Thanks again for sharing Keith, I think you did a great job. Thanks again. 👍👍👍
Not a "License", but if in the US, you will need to take the TRUST Test, purchase a remote ID module ua-cam.com/video/CY4syImI9xg/v-deo.html , register the drone along with the RID module and place the Registration number on the drone. You need to follow all recreational rules ua-cam.com/video/b3yQYl7eAeQ/v-deo.html , and that's it!
Hi Keith, hoping you can help me out. My app keeps closing every time I open it it’ll close. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app rebooted the phone and even deleted some apps. Still the same any pointers? Thanks
I've had similar things in the past with different apps and one thing that may help is to clear the cache, both app and data for the phone, not just a single app. There's usually a way to do this by holding a couple of buttons at boot up of the device, then choosing some advanced options. If that doesn't do it, sometimes incompatibility just exists so it may need a factory reset, which is a pain, or a different device altogether. I try and use a drone tablet when the drone will support it, then it is dedicated to flying drones and is less likely to have these kinds of issues conflicting with other things. Hope that helps.
I got this drone 2 days ago and it was the best thing I’ve ever bought my something Must be wrong with your because my drone stays still in one position and everything work’s perfectly the only thing that didn’t work was the image follow feature I think it’s because it was to dark for the camera to pick me up but the gps follow me feature works amazing and I also got some amazing videos and photos
Follow-me is GPS. It's not optical like active-track. So doesn't use the camera. Sometimes you get a message for some reason. But follow-me works pretty good. Stays in compass position, you can use the sticks. I wish it had a update-homepoint-option. I had to race back couple times to where it took off. It does have a tracking mode that is optical. But that is more tripod mode. It won't follow. Only yaw and point the camera at you. And yes the F11 4k ( or DEERC DE22 PRO or RUKO F11) can go into toilet bowl most definitely! Especially in return-to-home mode. Cancel rth and fly it couple seconds with the sticks. Then press rth again and it should help get it stable.
Ok, I have this drone and occasional it does this “toilet bowling”. I contacted the company and they claimed it was electromagnetic interference. Sounds like you give the same reason I thought….it’s because of its price point and I should just break down and get a DJI
IMHO, this tech is a little older than some of the drones out there and is prone to this effect. The price point is part of it also, and the frustration factor is a big deal, but if it works okay for what you need then that's great as nobody wants to spend $1000 on something that you fly once then it sits on the shelf. Once you decide that you like the hobby enough that you want to invest in some good equipment, then save a bit more and step up to the little higher price ones for sure. They fly so much better that it's worth it in the long run. DJI is the biggest and does a really good job, EXO is working with Hubsan and has some really nice fliers in the Blackhawk 2 pro series, then the Autel and Skydio go up from there, but are still pretty decent. For that $700-$800 range (with a couple of batteries) you can get some really good tech that I've never seen a single instance of _toilet bowling_ regardless of the _interference_ ... Hope that helps! 🤙
Hello, thank you for your answer. My Deerc does good enough for me and what I use it for. It only does the toilet bowl thing occasionally and I have learned how to fight it back down. I will look up the other drones you mentioned too. This comment below about Winning a Mini 3 is that you? I see it is your label and that you do give stuff away. I also see that message in other comments on your site. If it’s not you someone is use if your branding.
AS best I have been able, this drones video footage looks like smudged ass. I am not sure I can recommend this drone to even an amatuer, but certainly no professional should waste their time on this.
Not the best showing for sure. Anytime a fly-more pkg with multiple batteries is around $299, definitely have to keep the expectations realistic. I'll take your word on looking like smudged ass, I don't make it a habit to search out such things, but to each their own...

Thanks for the review.
I'm glad I found your channel.
Does it always film in 4k or does it have other options like 1080p?
Thanks! I believe it can be changed to 1080p in the settings
@@AlienDrones thanks
I have this drone bought a couple years ago but I am barely going to use it. I’ll let you know if I have any questions.
That first Auto takeoff was hilarious, it looked more like attack mode and took you by surprise LOL. Definitely a work in progress.
Apparently gott'a' be quick on your feet in this industry! Spinning blades coming at your face will do that for ya... 😂

First question do I need a license to fly this drone ?

@@Plan9wood SPAM! Don't respond to these things. It's gotten really bad lately.
@@Plan9wood Awesome! That's the key for sure, what makes sense to you and what the value is. If it works for what you want it's all good!
Orbit isn't bad...but wouldn't say it's great....was trying to do a mild toilet bowl while orbiting
That take off will test your toes air2 s army out
Have to be nimble!
It toilet bowls because the arms are a little loose. Use super glue to lock them open. You'll never be able to fold it again, but it will be stable.
#NoToiletBowl 👀😂 Very frustrating for sure, Keith.
I think it's to keep the birds off guard... 🥴
