You made me chuckle, 86 degrees F would be very, very welcome where I live! It hits 86 degrees around midnight here.
My first drone, first flight crashed and broke a leg and light cover. I contacted customer service and they were great. Replaced all the parts under warrant without question. Thank you for the video and direction.

There a tank like the Terminator these things can take a beating or fix them and write back up at 400 ft I love it glad you got your fixed buddy have a safe flights make sure you're always zeroed in before you take off wait up front blue in the back solid

My first drone was the SJRC F11 which was a great drone. This iteration has great video but the price seems way too high compared with what else is available out there! Thanks for another great review Captain!
That's what I just said. It's just rebranded. I just got in and reviewed the sjrc f11 4kpro and it's $239 and $279 to add an extra battery. The price of this drone is mavic mini 2, fimi x8, hubsan zino territory which is much much better than this drone. This is a good drone I've tested it, just not for this price. It's the f11 rebranded and overpriced.

Excellent Drone Review. Would consider favorable purchase based on this review. I'm part 107 licensed. SD card slot as shown very nice!! My current drone ANAFI has the SD placed under a door below battery. This video is a year old and price is still about the same.

I bought the contixo f24 pro and it was out first so I'd say sj and this one is a knock off !! I was up 400 Feet last night trying to bring in started raining brought down return home it landed at my foot !! Luv my contixo f24 pro

This is the sjrc f11 4kpro rebranded and way overpriced. For the price of this that ours us in dji mini 2 territory. Or refurbished parrot anafi on Amazon for 469, hubsan zino pro, etc. But! Despite that I enjoy all your reviews and watch every episode just cause of your positive personality.
I was not expecting a rebranded drone. I like the people at Holystone so I reviewed it anyways. I could not see the price of the drone (I still can't as it does not show up in Canada). If they don't sell any, then I'm sure they'll drop the price. This is why I also included the option of buying it from Banggood (different brand name, but same drone) which might have a better price.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 ohhh okay I didn't know you didn't see the price. Yeah it's $449usd and there's 2 other ones ruko, and another that are selling this same drone for $350-$450 usd. It's a good drone though but more fair for me at the early $200 price range. Either way thanks again I'm at work and your videos lift me up haha.

I intended to comment on your reference of temp there. Right now in Houston it is 92 F and will go up a couple more degrees before it starts to fall. It has been too hot here to fly until late in the evening. Send us some of your cooler air.

Hey Steve. I agree. Price is way to high for what you get. 250$ would be around the best price. Of course you don't control the price. I have pricey drones. My go to is still my Bugs 4W. Couple years old now. It never fails. Always a fun drone to fly. Did I just do a plug. Great job as always Steve. Thanks for your dedication and hard work to keep us informed of new drones coming out.

I totally bought this drone after watching this review so far I'm liking it but I found out I didn't actually have a MicroSD card so I can't really play with it until tomorrow I'm afraid it is kind of strange that when you take a photo with this and sees the curvature of the Earth where is if you do video it does not it's the same camera so that's just kind of striking me as weird

I had the Ruko version for a period of about 2 weeks. sadly returned it because the wifi range was poor. it flew great otherwise, but was disappointed in the supporting video and telemetry. replaced it with the Fimi for about $100 extra and was worth every penny of the difference. Shame, I really liked it otherwise
When you say distance was poor...can you be more specific of that range?
@@OGutzVentura about 200 yards LOS with no obstruction, it would lose video and GPS location sent back to the phone. The control link still worked fine, which is half the reason I returned it. the quad could cover 7.5 square kilometers, but would only track location in 1.5 square kilometers. the GIM2 is much improved over the GIM

@@OGutzVentura if your phone connects to the drone for gps and video, then dont buy it IMO. but if gps and video runs through the controller and then to your phone, like the GIM2, then its fine. It was the wifi link that was an issue. the drone was pretty good otherwise.

feels like a little mavic , but I will still stick with my mavic pro for now. it's still working top shelf, and I got it for 220 with a flymore. and 5 nd filters. it's been 2.5 million ft. that I have put on it so far.

The drone is great for money ... only the camera is bad ,, .. Image quality and range .. The drone is not a problem .., flies well, stable in the wind, flies for 30 minutes, ..
IMMEDIATELY when I saw your view of this drone .. I saw that it was a copy :-) .. they are identical .. only the camera is better ...
Does this camera just have to be bought so I can change it on my drone ??
Any chance you'll be reviewing the new Hubsan Mini Pro soon? I see other folks have videos out but your channel is this first I check out on any drone I'm curious about or interested in. Your reviews are the best, makes me wonder if other reviewers are the ones clicking the thumbs down? I do wish this had actually been a new drone, I already have the SJRC F11 versions so this "new" drone was a bit of a disappointment but you still gave it an honest review and covered the features though I'm sure you're probably over having to review the F11 again.
I have a mini pro on order, but cannot get any delivery date out of Hubsan - might have to cancel the order soon if I still cannot get a response. Shame, because it looks like a first class sub 250gm drone, if it actually appears, apart from early pre-production models.
The MINI PRO is not yet available in North American. It is available in ASIA so that is where you see reviews.
Do you know if the DEERC 22 and Holy Stone HS600’s batteries are interchangeable? The specs for both batteries are identical and both drones are made by the same manufacturer. Unfortunately the Holy Stone and DEERC reps I contacted didn’t seem to understand my question. Of course the reps cover both brands but English is not their native language.

2 axis gimbal is only good if it also has EIS (electronic image stabilization)

Looks like the discount code is not working. Given the price I am thinking a person would be better off buying one of the DJI budget friendly models.

I still have the F11 4k Pro and was wondering if you spotted any differences between the software on your phone for both drones.
From the video the software looked pretty close to the same except for the load screen.

Minor differences
looks like about 3 or 4 other drones you have reviewed, but as always you do a great job in presenting the features. With so many drones out there between $200-$500 that are almost identical in specs, do you find that the app becomes a selling point?
You are correct that so many drones are similar. This is why I am very picky when it comes to those I review in the budget line up and only pick ones that appear to have good specs or are very different. This one had great specs, but I expected it to be a different drone, but instead it turned out to be the same as the F11 4K PRO.

Great review. Debating between this and DJI Mini 2. What’s your opinion? I know you can’t go wrong with DJI but the fact that this drone has waypoint, follow/tracking, etc… and the Mini2 doesn’t, makes me wonder if this would be a better buy for features? Thx
People buy the DJI Mini 2 for the camera and mostly because it is under 250 grams.

I did get my first drone after yrs of watching your channel. It is the sjrc f11 pro 4k.
It worked great until one day it would not connect to my phone. Till this day it still won't. Have you or your viewers got any idea on what to do to re connect? Really frustrated with it of course, arrrrr

If you are doing everything correctly and your phone is compatible and you are using the correct app, then perhaps the VTX in drone burnt out from overheating.
Do you prefer this one or the DJI mini SE?
Mini SE is the recommendation due to the fact it is under 250 grams.

Another great review Captain. I've had this drone since last May and just a few days ago I can't get the controller to connect to drone both fully charged, WiFi connects but drone lights all blink red and message on app says controller won't connect. Any advice?
My only advice is check the manual and see if there are binding instructions. Normally controllers don’t suddenly lose binding, unless two buttons are pressed at once (don’t ask me which two, no idea)
I found their customer service email in the manual wrote them about this issue. I've read some good reviews on their customer service we shall see. Been a heck of a week here, received air2s combo last Friday my drone phone won't accept their dji fly app but my new tablet does waiting on dji tablet holder and longer USB c cable for it. At least the weather has been bad all week too lol Im down to my inside sharper image glow stunt drone. Thankyou for your time Sir, Happy flying !
Very good camera for Holy Stone. So good I might call it great. If its not too much $$ Im in the need of a smaller drone to go where my Typhoon h wont go. Im really impressed with the video quality that u daid nothing about so maybe they have other drones with this camera, huh?

Did you ever have issues of the remote controller disconnecting prematurely even before the Wi-Fi? It's happens often to me. What do you think the problem is??? It's irritating when I do a way point flight, and when the remote disconnects, it interrupts the way point and sends it home.
The problem is perhaps your cell phone. Not compatible with the App perhaps?

I have the DE22, but no matter how long I connect to the wifi, the phone app doesn't work. It might connect momentarily, but it doesn't transmit images. Do you have this problem?
Nope, works perfect for me. It sounds like when you connect your phone to the WIFI of the drone, before opening the App, your phone is telling you it is not compatible with 802.11ac WIFI transmission. I'm guessing that after you connect to the WIFI, and then go to the PHONE APP your WIFI disconnects. The only other item I can think of is that you are using the wrong APP.
That looks a lot like SJRC F11 pro 4K... Even the bag is also the same
